Ryan, is that you?I said I never feck my brothers wife either.
Now we are accusing him of faking injury? Some of you are unbelievable.I expect Pogba to be injured again should he remain for this season. Its his normal routine.
Check his injury records especially every tournament year. Now we are accusing him of faking injury? Some of you are unbelievable.
Or giving penalties awayCouldn't car less. I can count on probably one hand the amount of good games he's had for us. He always seemed to be injured when the big games came around.
For me he's been one of the most disappointing signings ever. It's turned out a bit like the Veron transfer.Or giving penalties away
Well the options aren't great. Reward him for very inconsistent performances with a mega deal he won't dream of getting elsewhere (north of the supposed 290k a week we're already paying him) and hope we can make it work tactically, use him for the season for the price of 14m in wages and miss out on potential 50m sale and see him leave on a free for the 2nd time, or sell him now and save that 14m and make another 50m going straight back into building a coherent team. The last option seems to me to be by far the most sensible one.We might finally be going into season with a starting 11 that has no real holes in it, to now lose Pogba would just feel like a potential missed opportunity, he can maybe only be a consistant top player when he is surrounded by other top players, and when there something to really play for, I don't know if that is true, I just want to see it given a chance.
All I know for sure is that he is an extremelly talented midfielder, which we find very difficult for us to get hold of, so I'd keep him for a season where our squad looks as good as it has since Fergie left, also as our links to replacements seem far fetched, and the fee we might get for him pretty limited.
I had the same blinkers on as Jose did. I really thought Pogba would evolve into a box to box dominator, akin to Toure. Jose defended him to the hilt for the first 18 months and persisted with making it work in a double pivot when it really wasn't coming off. That goal he set up for Lingard against Arsenal was Yaya-esque. Remember Jose saying after the match no other player in the league can do that. And I agree. But the mentality is so far from his ability that he's a tactical conundrum. It is a popular take.
The vibe at the club has been a bit unstable. There was a glut of supposed talent coming in under Mou but it was a house of cards and all turned to crap really.
If Pogba was just coming to the club now, imagining that Varane ends up here as well, he might feel more positive and we might see more of his quality. As it is, half his career has passed while the club slowly transitions back to what it was in SAF days. It’s coming, but his experience here must make him doubt whether it’s worth waiting. He doesn’t have the personality to positively influence and hasten the development of the club, the squad, the team. He’s supremely talented but he lacks Bruno’s drive; he lacks the qualities that we have needed so much these last few years; he is not a “United” player in my mind.
He would have done much better at a team already established at the top. He’s good enough to get into the top teams but not good enough to turn a “nearly” team into winners.
It was always going to end badly with the way he left, the crazy transfer fee.For me he's been one of the most disappointing signings ever. It's turned out a bit like the Veron transfer.
Agreed. He's not going to give much away. Fully expect Pogba to leave this summer now.Ole is always positive about players who are still employed by the club, he lied about Smalling, Lukaku etc. It‘s all smoke and mirrors.
I’d love to keep him. Had a blinder of a tournamentNot wanted by Utd fans and not wanted by PSG fans. Pogba has surely done himself proud here.
Absolutely crazy to think this guy was supposed to be the second coming of Christ when he came back. How wrong we were.
Seems more like he doesn't know.
He could join Man City at this point for all I care. Never seen so much fuss over such little and inconsistent value.Smacks of Pogba running down his contract to join another club to be honest. Every time his contract ran out he would join Juventus.
Veron was actually decent in his last season and helped us won the league. He's a better signing than PogbaFor me he's been one of the most disappointing signings ever. It's turned out a bit like the Veron transfer.
Believe so as well.
I hate to be THAT guy, but Bruno has been largely irrelevant for us for a period of time now. Masked by a penalty here and there.Bruno's impact is what Pogba's should have been.
its a complete non-answerThat's a relief, if true.
Hard to argue against those numbers.Pogba isn't important to our first team.
Minutes with and without him in the league last season:
Minutes GF GA minutes per GF minutes per GA With Pogba 1897 35 26 54.2 73 Without Pogba 1523 38 18 40 84.6
McFred helps Shaw/AWB to push higher up the flanks, and give Bruno more freedom to get in and around the box.
Pogba gives you more individualistic gif-worthy moments. But Manchester United are a better team without him.
Well, only if did was scoring penalty here and there.I hate to be THAT guy, but Bruno has been largely irrelevant for us for a period of time now. Masked by a penalty here and there.
Is that all it would take for you lot to say Pogba has been great? A penalty here and there?
Part of me would be relieved to see him go. He's a constant distraction with his contract negotiations and now that we have Bruno, I dont think he's worth it.That's a relief, if true.
Look, there are legitimate criticisms of Pogba and being happy to see the back of him isn't an unreasonable opinion at this stage, but to suggest he's only had a handful of good games for us is ridiculous. He's had more good games than bad games here, and whether you think that's good enough or not, its not a reason to rewrite the narrative completely.Couldn't car less. I can count on probably one hand the amount of good games he's had for us. He always seemed to be injured when the big games came around.
No need to debate, when people hate him, they hate him.Look, there are legitimate criticisms of Pogba and being happy to see the back of him isn't an unreasonable opinion at this stage, but to suggest he's only had a handful of good games for us is ridiculous. You hang out with him off the pitch do you? He's a hard one to fathom isn't he, because all of his peers apparently love him and yet on (in terms of tactical awareness) and off the pitch he really does come across as a fecking idiot
I went to their reddit few weeks ago and all of the comments were positive wanting him to join PSG.Tweet

He is on record as saying he would never play for them as well.
He's caught in possession, resulting in giving ball away, far too often. For United at least. Maybe that changes if we improve the team, and certainly he plays more against the better teams.Pogba isn't important to our first team.

You forgot the Madrid fans and:Not wanted by Utd fans and not wanted by PSG fans. Pogba has surely done himself proud here.

For example we'll buy Griezmann for £100m and they agree on a one year loan + £100m for Pogba.
I have a mate who is a Juve fan and he said yeah we'd want him back but we don't have the money, maybe on a free again. Feck him.Yesterday I was joking with a Barca mate about this.
He told me we could buy Griezmann for £80m. And we can keep the £20m just for keeping Pogba away from them...
Did you watch France v Switzerland in the Euros? It's impossible to improve France talent-wise, yet he still got caught in possession as much as he does here. He's caught in possession, resulting in giving ball away, far too often. For United at least. Maybe that changes if we improve the team, and certainly he plays more against the better teams.
I said I never feck my brother's wife either.
Yeap... and had a quiet, professional agent.Veron was actually decent in his last season and helped us won the league. He's a better signing than Pogba
I always thought Veron type of player was a few season too early for United. He'd be a monster of a player in this current United squad.Yeap... and had a quiet, professional agent.
I always thought it was a mistake by Fergie in letting him go. He offered us a different approach to playing.
You hang out with him off the pitch do you?
It's tiring reading the tripe on hear from you lot
He will feign injury, he will down tools, he should tell his agent to shut up blah blah blah.
How many of you here will go to the companies you work for and negotiate a lower salary however good or bad people think you are.
And to be honest it's not like if Pogba doesn't get the money it goes the club to do something else, the glazers line their pocket with it.
Worry about the like of Phil Jones taken money for nothing.
The guy came out last season and said he'd rather keep quiet and just play football and does what he did.
If you don't like him as a player fine but just stop with the BS making up nonsense to make yourselves feel better
