Literally have no idea what he's like as i've never watched him with any intent, i suspect most fans won't be knowledgeable enough to give a decent opinion either. I'd say we just have to trust the board.Would be a great buy for them. Has his flaws though. Wonder what all the Chelsea fans downplaying Varane will say about him
Or there is a finite amount of time in a window between a major tournament and the season starting and all sorts of deals will be overlapping. What a strange coincidence that they open talks as soon as we agreed a fee and personal terms with Varane. Maybe they were more interested than they were letting on?
I think you answered your own questionThe feck do Arsenal need a striker for? Don't they have Aubameyang and Lacazette?
This is the exact sort of shit that Sam Lee's talking about. This fecking idiot thinks he's the transfer Messiah.
Maybe if they'd stop blatantly lying about every god damn thing he wouldn't receive the abuse he gets.
From what I’ve heard he is a quick, agile and aggressive pressing type of CB that is progressive in both passing, positioning and carries . Is also versatile in that he can play RB . His major flaw is supposedly his physicality against stronger players that can outmuscle him, and that he is somewhat short for a CB.Literally have no idea what he's like as i've never watched him with any intent, i suspect most fans won't be knowledgeable enough to give a decent opinion either. Aubameyang has been on the decline lately and they've been trying to get rid of Lacazette for a while nowThe feck do Arsenal need a striker for? Don't they have Aubameyang and Lacazette?

In my opinion a good thread on transfer reporting
Lacazette in his last year, Auba going on a bit and only kids behind them. No harm in asking but there's no chance we land him...The feck do Arsenal need a striker for? Don't they have Aubameyang and Lacazette?
Just thought i'd check his defensive stats against Varane as per posters comment above...From what I’ve heard he is a quick, agile and aggressive pressing type of CB that is progressive in both passing, positioning and carries . He shares information because he is a professional journalist.Poor Sam. Don’t get me wrong, people abusing journalists over transfers are pathetic, but he shares that information to increase followers and his profile. He’s not doing a public service.
Yep, that is why I had the policy in the OP that aggregators not be allowed unless they have the context/link in same tweet, which none of them ever do. Literally the only one I've seen include links is the caf account, and that tweets sporadically as the person who usually runs it is unpaid.
I think they’re both perfectly adequate and Aubameyang still has a few good years in him.Aubameyang has been on the decline lately and they've been trying to get rid of Lacazette for a while now
Bless.

From what I have read, Kounde will take over Azpi's role on the team, slowly. If you are looking as to where Kounde will fit in the team, it is most likely Azpi competing with Kounde for minutes.Just thought i'd check his defensive stats against Varane as per posters comment above...
Varane v Kounde
Kounde comes out massively on top and is a lot younger, however he comes up short against Rudiger and Christensen in several areas which surprises me even more.
What a shame...
It's probably got more to do with him being injured all the time and doing over head kicks in his own box than anything else.

Throw in Rojo flying about with his two footed tackles and fire hydrants.
Imagine him in a CB partnership with Phil Jones. It would be the sequel to Saving Private Ryan.

The reluctance to cash in on a player who is a) not good enough b) not consistently fit enough and c) not high in the pecking order seems to indicate that he'll have to hand in a transfer request and sell himself on behalf of the club. Another tap-in that we're refusing to get over the line (Jesse being the other). What a shame...

Probably the old trick of using our name to get another team (Chelsea) to pay up. Nevertheless, would've been/would be interesting to see us with a quality back 3.We need to get a move on if we're actually interested

Kounde seems like a tidy little player tbh, but having said that the defensive per 90 numbers can be slightly misleading (depends on what you’re using those numbers for). You also have to factor in how much possession the team keeps on average and the volume of attacking plays they face in their own 3rd as a result.Just thought i'd check his defensive stats against Varane as per posters comment above...

Well, stats depend alot on the playstyle, team, League and CB pairing.Just thought i'd check his defensive stats against Varane as per posters comment above...

Yes of course, I agree you have to take stats with a degree of skepticism unless you have the full narrative but i was pleasantly surprisedKounde seems like a tidy little player tbh, but having said that the defensive per 90 numbers can be slightly misleading (depends on what you’re using those numbers for). Kounde’s per 90 numbers from last season would i think even be better than Ruben Dias’ and Van Dijk’s (from his league winning season).
He loves City, because he writes about them for his job?I find Sam Lee really annoying. Absolutely loves City as well despite apparently being a Utd fan.
