Commentator saying "Cant believe this is July". Is it because its cold now in Manchester, and usually its hot in July?

Can we just stop for a moment and appreciate how much more influential Greenwood is in general play? Remember the season before last when he scored a tonne of goals, but still struggled to get into games in general? He's a different player now. Decision making is much better; playing back to goal is much improved. General dribbling infield so much more penetrative.

Lingard looking useless as ever.

Ole would be an idiot to keep him at the club. Take whatever West Ham are willing to put up.

AWB playing well, and not really a surprise at all to anyone who paid attention to his form in the second half of last season for us.

Clearly you’re the best judge of players, that’s why you’re here!
For the record you actually did
The original question was 'why' is Tuanzabe rated. It's a fair question because he's lacking in a lot of areas.

He came through the ranks showing strength and speed, and I think that carries a lot of weight as a young defender. Unfortunately, his positioning and passing doesn't really look good enough.

Breaks my heart seeing Mata play like this. He tries so hard to make himself useful like he always does but he is just done at this level now. Reminds me of Gary Nevilles last couple of attempts.

Williams and Pereira are shit. Sell.

Let's not make AWB play 60 games next season and we'll get to see this version of him more often.

His work outside the box has impoved but to be honest I feel like his finishing is regressing. Bit worrying.

He rarely ever seems to use his right foot now either, no idea why he's stopped going on both sides.

At this rate anybody not wanting to go in for Haaland next season is a bit mad I think.

Good and bad so far. Thought we have passed the ball with intent. The 'patterns of play' crew must be happy.

However, some of the more experienced players have looked a little flat. Fortunately the kids are alright. Elanga looks a little lightweight. If he gets down the gym he's going to be a problem cos he can finish.

Pity that their goal came from a mix up involving Wan Bissaka cos I think his passing and play has been really sharp.

Decent half of football that for a pre-season match. AWB looked good going forward, Matic with some nice between the lines passing, Pereira actually looking half decent and Elanga looking lively up top. Biggest dissappointment so far in pre-season for me is Greenwood. Completely invisible in the first two matches, slightly better today, but so wasteful in good positions. He's not a part of our first 11 come start of the season.

I've never been to England but they surely have some crazy weather there. It's end July ffs and everyone wear a coat
Commentator saying he cant believe its July...probably not expecting it to be this cold in a summer month.

Noticed this in the first 2 games and today it's even more clear. He's been consciously working on his build-up play imo, especially trying those killer passes. He isn't getting all of them perfect but his vision has been really great. Once he starts to get the weight of those passes correct we could have an all-round Harry Kane-like striker in the near future. Such an incredible talent. Expect he'll have a really good start to the season this time.
