FFS

Leeds was always unlikely but at this rate he won't even be ready for Southampton

Just waiting for a tweet stating something like "Varane disappointed with how United have handled the transfer. Decides to return to Madrid and sign new contract with Real".

We all love United
He's passed the medical and already ours, why the :wenger: posts? I get that we want him available for the Leeds game but he's isn't always going to start the game anyway. Lindelof should be fine for one match

It's not that I think the transfer's gonna fall through, it's that the club admin is sooooo slow...

Jesus you idiots will fecking moan about anything.

In case you hadn’t noticed there’s a worldwide pandemic and arriving in the UK from certain countries requires quarantine that can’t be avoided just because you want to tug your cocktail sausages off.

Also 52% of the country were dumb enough to vote to make it harder for people to come and work here, so, you know, maybe beyond the clubs control.

He’s here now, everything is underway and you’ll get your shiny photo soon.

Well it took 10 years for us to finally succeed in pursuing him, a bit more than 10 days seem proportional enough for the final wait.

nothing to do with club admin, visa was delayed, then once visa was approved, he was flown in and had to quarantine, club cant do anything about that, it's what it's

Yeah but that's all done now though right? Unless there's a 3rd day of medicals or something?

Anyhow, i'm not that cheesed off really. Just bemused. The slowness in admin is probably part of the reason why De Gea is still here.

Yep. He'll still be in training tomorrow either way.

Headlines overnight are going to be Messi and the Super Cup so makes sense to formally announce it tomorrow where there's unlikely to be anything taking the spotlight unless Spurs decide to sell Kane three days before facing City.

The thread is full of weirdos.

He's passed the medical and likely signed everything. Just because there's no photo or release on social media yet doesn't mean he can't fecking play at the weekend.

It's clear some of these ex footballers have no idea about football..
It's depressing actually. Many of these guys just play the game without studying it. You hear it almost evey time a pundit opens his mouth.
The broadcast I watch the PL on uses the Matchday Live feed from PL Productions, whose guest pundits routinely includes people like Tim Sherwood, Don Hutchinson, Michael Owen, Steve McManaman etc and even the likes of SWP.

I often have Half Time Analysis on mute.

Or Chelsea sign Lukaku. I get what people are saying. Assuming it’s true, if there’s still minor contract details to be hashed out that’s a bit of a joke when we’ve had all this extra time due to COVID and brexit to get this thing buttoned down.

He should've cut his holiday short so he'd be available for Leeds!

Which decent number is unoccupied?
On united's instagram page they've been doing a 10 day countdown using the shirt numbers. Did 5 for Maguire, and 3 for Bailly today...nothing for 4. Interesting.
