Me?Plastics every one of you.
What about those people that think he’s just doing a decent job, Legend or not? Both sides imo are full of shite. The Ole outers hold extreme views that Ole is utterly incompetent and incapable of being a manager at all. Likewise the Ole in brigade are holding on to a romanticized view that a club legend could lead us to glory again. Again both groups full of shite.
Credit to Ole for helping bring back a sense of stability and having the club go back to its roots. Some of our signings have been decent and we’ve had some great results. With that said, can anyone honestly say with certainty that Ole is capable of leading a title winning squad? Does he have that ruthlessness of world class managers and a living God like Sir Alex? Today was further proof that he probably doesn’t have it in him, and it is questionable whether he can take another significant step into making us genuine title contenders.
Yes I do. Pointing out that the forum is full of knee jerkism and hysteria, is not only warranted, but needed. I will happily call out and distance myself from fans who become vitriolic and hateful towards our own players, snd whose emotions fans support for the club flip as readily as we move one game to the next. There is a critical absence if strategic thinking amongst most fans. And you think these posts/posters are any better? Pathetic
They are the biggest problem in my eyes and don't care how much stick I take for saying it, something these fans might also want to think about is his dreadful coaching could end up losing us the likes of Pogba & Bruno and future targets as wellWhat about those people that think he’s just doing a decent job, Legend or not?
Southampton did not sit back unless when they were really push to do so, in fact they pressed us high up the pitch as their goal showed, they were countless other times their goal...Disappointing we didn’t get all 3 points, but not that surprising. Leeds attacking style was taylor made for us and not unexpected Southampton would sit back.
I haven't really seen any posters saying he's not capable of being a manager at all. Most, like myself, that I've seen at least, seem to think he's simply not good enough for Manchester United. Both sides imo are full of shite. Oh totally he is good enough for a championship side maybe even lower premier league but us no chance, the fact he refuses to acknowledge coaching issues is shocking then there is the poor treatment of Donny and finally not buying a DM last summer is the last straw for me.I haven't really seen any posters saying he's not capable of being a manager at all. Tbf a lot of people used last weeks victory do to exactly what people are doing today but only for Ole.Just like Pep had the talent to beat Spurs last week? Or Tuchel had talent to beat Leicester in FA Cup final?
I'm fine with people criticizing performances and I think we should've done much better, but analyzing performance on a game by game basis is not a smart way of analyzing things
But is a decent job good enough for Manchester United? I would say no. If we still consider ourselves a super club (we are when it comes to finances), what would one of the other super clubs like Madrid, Barca or Munich do in our position? I don’t expect Ole to get the sack since he’s doing well by the Glazers post-Fergie standards by delivering champions league football, but this season should be the one to assess whether he can really sustain a title challenge and come closer. He’s been backed with good signings, it’s time to deliver. What about those people that think he’s just doing a decent job, Legend or not?
Im not going to give you stick for it. But I think it flies in the face of reality. Oh well, each to their own opinion. They are the biggest problem in my eyes and don't care how much stick I take for saying it, something these fans might also want to think about is his dreadful coaching could end up losing us the likes of Pogba & Bruno and future targets as well
I just can't ever feel convinced because he won't address his three biggest issuesIm not going to give you stick for it. But I think it flies in the face of reality. Oh well, each to their own opinion.
I just think we have to prioritise plausibility over accuracy. We are not a trigger happy firing club. We’ve seen several strides forwards both on the pitch and off it, since he signed. Whether he is the man to take us back to trophy winning glory is hard to know yet. Anyone categorically saying no, is doing so because it’s a win-win situation for them. If he wins, their naysaying will get lost in the celebrations, if he doesn’t, we get endless I told you so’s. It’s much harder ti back a manager looking at ling term progress. But is a decent job good enough for Manchester United? I would say no. This! Some people are like ostriches hiding their head in the ground and thinking that ignoring all the signs that Ole isn't good enough would magically win us titles.
He's proven every year that as long as he doesn't have his starting 11 all fit and playing, he'll struggle to get the results. Decent job isn't good enough for a club that actually wants to win stuff.
But sure, people who don't rate him as a manager must clearly be haters.
Loyalty is a great virtue but so is intelligence. An intelligent analysis would suggest that Ole was not appointed to win the Premier League but to run a happy ship keeping us in the top four. So calling for Ole out is dumb. He was put there by the Glazers for a reason. Glazersout is what should be trending.Plastics every one of you.
Who said that its intelligent? Theres nothing intelligent about it because intelligence would tell you that there is a clear team being built, slowly but thats the owners not the manager. Intelligence doesnt shout ole out after a draw. Intelligence sees theres clear and evident progress. If you cannot see that then you arent intelligent or most likely just agenda driven.,Loyalty is a great virtue but so is intelligence. Playing Donny doesn't help anything, and defence was not our problem yesterday it was not having a midfielder who can run our game.Quite simply I am Ole out for three reasons
His treatment of Donny
Not buying a CDM last summer
Appointing inexperienced coaches
The last one is the biggest because there is no evidence of him wanting to do anything about it at all and that is terrifying
Is Donny Van De Beek your cousin or something? I am yet to see VDB produce one fantastic display when given the chance. Not one. Many reasons there may be but it won’t be the first time a Dutch star came to the league only to fail. Even superstars from other leagues have failed here. United are a fan base full of overreactors.Quite simply I am Ole out for three reasons

I'm not saying he's the answer but why on earth didn't we just keep that £35m thenPlaying Donny doesn't help anything, and defence was not our problem yesterday it was not having a midfielder who can run our game.
LOOK it's not an overreaction when I have made it quite clear about his coaching shortcomings since 2019Is Donny Van De Beek your cousin or something? He literally played well a matter of weeks ago against Everton. First half he played with Matic and we moved the ball quickly. Second half he was removed and we looked like last seasonIs Donny Van De Beek your cousin or something? I am yet to see VDB produce one fantastic display when given the chance. Not one. fecking state of some posters on here. I swear we have such a toxic online fan base.
Nice one for bringing that up to illustrate my point that he shouldn't be just cast asideHe literally played well a matter of weeks ago against Everton. First half he played with Matic and we moved the ball quickly. Second half he was removed and we looked like last season
Our midfield were diabolical yesterday, and a guy recovering from covid was brought on insteadNice one for bringing that up to illustrate my point that he shouldn't be just cast aside
We have seen him do well in preseason and the end of last. You have yet to see anything because he has not really been given a chance, minutes here and there is not a chance. If matic can be thrown in to provide that same kind of performance over and over, Donny can get a chance. Is Donny Van De Beek your cousin or something? Some people just want to bury their head in the sand on this one and I include cowardly Utd journos in thatOur midfield were diabolical yesterday, and a guy recovering from covid was brought on instead
Your third paragraph sums it up perfectly and needs pinning up somewhereWe have seen him do well in preseason and the end of last. You have yet to see anything because he has not really been given a chance, minutes here and there is not a chance. If matic can be thrown in to provide that same kind of performance over and over, Donny can get a chance.
He's a midfielder, he needs to play to get in groove with the team. We had no midfield presence yesterday, because Fred is not comfortable with the ball and matic legs are gone, Donny solves both of those issues. Can he provide screening to the defence? probably not, but neither did the personnel we persisted with.
I don't know if he is the player we need, but I've seen enough of the others to think he warrants an actual chance to nail down a place. If he fails so be it, all the others have, at least they had the chance to fail constantly.
Sancho played twice and didn't do anything notable either. Should he be ignored for the rest of the season and rot on the bench while inferior players like Lingard and James play 30 games a season? Is Donny Van De Beek your cousin or something? Thats a false equivalency if I ever saw one.Sancho played twice and didn't do anything notable either. Should he be ignored for the rest of the season and rot on the bench while inferior players like Lingard and James play 30 games a season?
Not expecting to win every game but it's time Ole did something about his faultsYou lads do realise we cannot and will not win every game right? Some of the nonsense in here is mental
Like what exactly? We haven't got the money to fix the midfield apparently so it's a case of making do for nowNot expecting to win every game but it's time Ole did something about his faults
No idea.I'm not saying he's the answer but why on earth didn't we just keep that £35m then
Bloody hell, we have enough to beat Southampton. Pogba was our most bright forward, then gets put in the pivot trying to win the gameLike what exactly? We haven't got the money to fix the midfield apparently so it's a case of making do for now
Swap out Southampton for Palace, Burnley, Sheff United etc and then realise we've also dropped points to them over the seasons, even worse than them in fact. The beauty of football is despite having enough to beat 'Southampton', they can still put a shift in and get a result against you. United haven't got a divine right to win all their gamesBloody hell, we have enough to beat Southampton. Pogba was our most bright forward, then gets put in the pivot trying to win the game
It's nowhere near that bad. Behave. They are the biggest problem in my eyes and don't care how much stick I take for saying it, something these fans might also want to think about is his dreadful coaching could end up losing us the likes of Pogba & Bruno and future targets as well
