If we can get Mbappe this season then Haaland is realistic next season. Pogba on a free would be a dream as well. Papa Perez making a comeback.

If the offer has finally been made then I think he will come and that this is all a show.
Maybe we will reach 200, I wonder if they will demand a player, like Mendy or Casemiro
£170m is quite mental for player in the final year of his contract, even if it is for someone as great as Mbappe.

Surely, this is a panic move? Liverpool, or some other English club, waiting to pounce on the zero amount in January?
It's a panic move based on signing no one for 2 years in preparation for this

Madridismo isn't like other fanbases, you can't reason with us about next year. We want him and we want him now

Mercenaries Assemble!! Oh no, Iron Man's leaving.
That's not what I mean. Mbappé has the opportunity to play with the 2 best wingers in the world to set him up in the best position possible to score. If he moves the right way, he'll get the right pass from Neymar or Messi. He should realize that the best move would be to take advantage of this situation, stay at PSG for an extra year or 2 , score an insane amount of goals, be seen by the entire world as the best of the 3 and then move to Real. But he thinks he can already carry Real instead. Plot twist : he cannot. Not consistantly at least.

Absolutely agreed. You waited two years but you can't afford to wait three months to the tune of 200m Euros (that's how much you will be rinsed for). Panic is caused by another club putting their foot in the door. Might be Liverpool, might be Utd/City.

I hope Madrid get their man. It will annoy PSG (who everyone hates anyway) and turn Madrid into a financial basketcase (a la Barca), whilst also ruling them out of the Haaland chase.

My theory is that you cannot force a club that you consider to be a friend to release a player.
He may end up renewing and or not and cause a lot of stress in their team for months.
It does not compensate us that in a situation like Varane they do not make an offer and invite the player to leave for free.
If we really want him, we will have to pay. The interesting thing is to have reached this situation where PSG is forced

Bid of a ridiculous signing considering all the work that squad needs and how much better spent the money could be. But fully expect him to be a Real player at the end of the month. PSG will bring in Ronaldo in a seriously FM shit move.
Real Madrid spend 300 million euros last time we spend big. We bought Hazard, Jovic, Reiner, Militao and Mendy. Totally waste of 300 million Euros.

What club? On a free we'll give him €25/30M a year in take home money. The only competition for mbappé is PSG. If we're afraid of anything, it's one year with Neymar and Messi will change his mind

Mbappe should stay this season and leave on a free. He should take advantage of the good work PSG did this summer.

Real can't challenge for the CL even with Mbappe.

And we still pumped you in CL :D
This is the level Madrid have reached if beating Nat Phillips and Rhys Williams last season was your highlight. I think Klopp will be dropping these words in Mbappe senior's ears in their many telephone conversations (allegedly). ;)

He only has eyes for Madrid, and no one else would pay the fee either. There's absolutely nothing in the other links. Agreed the worry would be his head could turn playing in that front three, but he obviously has higher goals than PSG and fair play to him.

PSG with Messi is a totally different beast in terms of visibility, interest, and chances to win multiple CL titles

If we're afraid of anything, it's that

Spent force?

You are a true Redcafer, I tip my cap. If only we had your defence + Hazard, Bale, Asensio, Isco. Is Modric still alive? Him too.

Mbappe must really hate PSG if he leaves them after signing all time greats like Ramos and Messi. They have a stacked team.

However PSG is a small club who thinks it's a big club. It's why they can't just accept players who want to leave. RM or United will never stand in the way of players leaving.

PSG force them to stay. Not good in the long run. They will develop a bad reputation.

Just don't see the logic in this, from Mbappe and Madrid.

Madrid desperate to show they are still a big player, Mbappe switching from the orginal farmers league, to the new one.

They will bring the same guys who convinced Verrati to stay. Mbappe needs to hide his family if he wants to run down his contract at PSG ;)

Deepthroating information to Howard Nurse.
I don’t see them selling - you don’t sign the players at the age they’ve done if you have any sort of plan beyond next year. They want the CL this year ahead of the World Cup and no amount of money being offered matters - they aren’t going to get better than mbappe for next year.

I'm pretty disappointed by him if he thinks he's worth more than forming a dream front 3 with Neymar and Messi. If he really thinks he can carry Real Madrid and La Liga on his shoulders, he'll be disappointed and so will Real fans. He's not that kind of player, he's not Messi, he'll never be Ronaldo. I think he doesn't realize what he's good at and what he cannot do. He should focus on being a super Thierry Henry (even that would be amazing), not a playmaker.
He has certainly grown in my admiration by saying feck off to newly assembled golden trio.

Oh no, they're gonna take Hazard now!!

If he's available on a free next year then where is the logic in wasting 130 million now. It's less than 12 months FFS.

Crazy considering we can sign him for free in January and he can play for us from next season.
Yeah its a bit insane alright. I reckon this is just a PR move from Madrid to appease fans (look we tried to buy him but PSG wouldnt sell, lets wait 6 months and save 130 odd million) and maybe they need to show Mbappe some proof of their ambition, who knows?

Of course it could be totally legit and football has gone bonkers yet again.

We want him now. We don't want to wait another year. We've been waiting 4 years now

It has nothing to do with him hating PSG, it would be an ego trip. It would mean that he wants to shine on his own and doesn't want to be a member of a big 3 that might be remembered in 50 years when football scholars talk about Messi's last club in euope like they do with Pelé at Cosmos. And that would be really poor judgement on his end because Messi and Neymar can make him shine like no other attacking players in the world can.

Like I said, Mbappé wants to be a kind of player he'll never be. He should look up to Henry, not Ronaldo.

You mean like when Neymar left Messi and Suarez to go to PSG?

So you are completely ignoring Ronaldo's case, huh?

Sounds like you think he is making the exact mistake Neymar made.

Neymar, at that time, was a FAR superior player. Neymar can (if fit) be the player that makes the magic happen, the player that can score, shoot free kicks, deliver perfect passes from both feet, dribble players in a telephone booth, be a real playmaker etc.

Mbappé wants to be that kind of player, but he'll never be.
