Shame Juve are so shite that he's desperate to get away from them.
He's part of the problem tbh.

Massive wages meaning they've been quite limited in the market, and his overall play has dropped quite a bit since that first season with them, great in the final 3rd (for the most part), but anonymous otherwise, and a detriment at times.

I don't think he'll go to City. But if he does I doubt he'll get badly boo'd at Old Trafford. Probably indifference. Not being boo'd and people not reacting would hurt him more too.
You really think our fans will be indifferent? No match goer will be. He will be booed like no one has been booed at OT.

I really want to know how Ronaldo-fanbois will take to this move. Obviously, it won't effect how they see him as the player - after all, one of the greatest of all time. But, in terms of supporting him after every goal he scores, what an interesting turn of events.
They'll be full of pride when he's scoring for City.

Aren't United fans the only ones left fighting for his GOAT status anyway? If he 'turns' on us, he drives the stake in his own reputation, and cements Leo Messi's status as the GOAT.

City and Chelsea both break the PL transfer record in a post-Covid market, and then the former go on to also sign Cristiano fecking Ronaldo.

It was nice to have a glimmer of hope for 1 game this season.

Chelsea haven't even spent any money this season. Let that sink in. Our problems are in outgoings.

Any truth to rumours that ronaldo has accepted a pay cut for this move and is going to be paid 250k a week?

Di Marzio tweeted that City will offer €25mil tomorrow which Juventus will accept.

I won't lie, this feels pretty shit. Are City the only team that need a striker this year? Would've been fine with it if he went to Chelsea.

Well butchers in Old Trafford are going to sell out of pigs heads soon.

WOuld be a sickening move, still a better striker than Kane. ALso its very different to Cole or Schmeichel playing for CIty as they were no competition then. For me Tevez was a player on loan so never really ours anyway and he just didnt understand the tribalism or care about that part of ENglish football, weirdly perhaps, personally I still really like Tevez.......but ROnaldo going to City now, ruins his legacy here without a doubt if and more likely I think when he goes there as it looks pretty likely from what I am reading

Nothing's funnier than watching him "block" a free kick. City's defensive wall for free kicks will be hilariously bad this season.

One thing you could say about this is the Manchester Derby games are going to be tasty next season. Nice to get a right hatred back between both fans, felt like it's been too easy going and not a proper hatred like we had with Arsenal and Mourinho's early Chelsea team.

I was more suggesting that indifference would hurt his ego, he will love the boos and enjoy the attention.

Yes, it will be a toxic atmosphere in all likelihood. The derbies in the year Tevez moved were some of my favourites

Going to be so, so, so sweet when he falls out with Pep after they finish the season with nothing but the Fizzy Drink Cup to show for it.

All his former teammates here are going to be really dissapointed about this. SAF is going to puke. What a dumb fecker he truly is to tarnish something so beautiful the connection the home and away fans have had to him for years just for a season or two at city. Yikes.

He'll get a lot of boos upon the return at OT.

Then he'll take his shirt off during warm-ups and some of our fans will chant SIUUU as their ever-lasting love for him never ends.

Seriously though, he'll get booed more than Tevez/Di Maria.

Rio, Evra, Rooney and Neville are going to be FUMING

Would not be surprised if they have tried to call him today
