Pep doesn't do the actual transfers at City, never has done. The ferran serano the CEO and birgiristan do all the transfer negotiations so it doesnt matter one bit if pep and mino dont get in. Pep doesnt have to deal with him and vice versa for mino.

you think if mino doesn't like Pep, he's going to want one of his top clients playing for the guy? Don't think so

Any deal for Håland will all depend on how we perform this year.
Yes, I think this it true.

There aren’t many outcomes really:
  • If it‘s only about money, City can almost certainly outbid us
  • If it‘s about guaranteed short-term success and titles, it won‘t be us
  • If it‘s about playing a key role in the foundation of United competing at the highest level and winning trophies again, there‘s a chance it could be us
Outcome 3 is the only realistic outcome in our favour — but, and that‘s a big but — we are still not playing a clear system week in, week out. As a player, I wouldn‘t be confident this is a team that will challenge. There‘s potential and on good days we can play like the champs, but we also have games that look clueless and without a system. I wouldn‘t choose United based upon now.

If we can find a formation that frequently gets us results, that shows that everything is in place and we‘re only one massive key signing away from winning the league, I think we have a very good chance of signing him. Obviously, for a lot of money, but in the mentioned best-case scenario, I think he will be able to make the difference between challenging and winning.

Solve our problems in DM asap, build momentum and grow confidence so we can challenge and push all the way until the end of the season. Then we may have a realistic chance to sign him.

Worth it for Haaland.

He will come here and break records.

Once he gets bored of breaking records/winning, we ship him off to Real/Barcelona for profit.

Win-win.

Whereever Haaland will end up, it'll be the destination of his choosing, not Raiola's. The guy isn't remote controlled.

if you don't think his agent plays a major role in where he ends up you are fooling yourself

What I don't understand is how an agent can afford to black list some of the wealthiest clubs in the world if he wants to have some of the best players in the world as his clients.

Gutted about Dortmunds quite simple CL group.

If his buy out clause was getting activated in January like said - I was hoping that he could potentially join us after a few bad results in a tough CL group in the January transfer window.

Will be in the summer by the looks of it.

No wonder Chelsea turned to Lukaku. Only Real Madrid, Barcelona and PSG paid that kind of wages before. Man Utd can afford that too i guess.

If Mbappe goes to Madrid, can see PSG going in hard for him next summer. Add City and Real to the mix as well. Don't fancy our chances too much here unless he is dead set on coming to the PL.

His agent will give him advise, so does his dad. Mino works for his clients for their best interest, not his own. it is just business and nothing personal i would assume for a professional agent. I highly doubt Mino Raiola will negotiate with Pep directly anyway. That is someone else's job in City.

There's zero chance of him coming to utd if those figures in the papers are close to being true. 800k a week. £34mil commission for mino. Add to that haaland snr getting £20mil.

Utd wont pay more than 300k a week and glazers aint going to sign off on a deal like that. If a billionaire like Abramovich is put off our pauper millionaires certainly wont.

I really don’t see how United fans can believe Haaland is joining the club.

He will want in excess of 800K a week. No chance the club agrees to that

If that 800k a week is a real number, enjoy PSG.
even Neymar is only on 650k a week. Haaland isn't going to get that even in PSG. Haaland's camp can ask for whatever they want, but the market will decide in the end.

If he wants the salary we think he wants, on top of a few for his agent and father, let's just call it a day and move on.

We could fill in CDM, ST role and others for all that.

It’s the only logical reason why we are not in for Ronaldo..taking city out of the game early but if the reports on wages were to be true then forget it, go get Kane or someone else

As if he's going to City when Ronaldos up front.. Ronaldo will definitely not play out left. Why would Haaland want to do that? I think United is purposely not in for Ronaldo because Ole wants Haaland as the biggest draw on the team next year. We already have his buddy on the right too. Theres plenty of reasons why this move is interesting for him. And with all the big money forwards moving teams this year, the competition for his signature seems less than before, especially with Lukaku signing at Chelsea. I'm usually fairly negative when it comes to Uniteds transfer business but for some reason I'm very confident in saying they're the favorites to land Haaland.

Wherever Haaland goes, I can't see him having a contract of more than 4 years maybe 5.

He will want to move on again and get bigger deals.

He's getting paid some odd 140k right now. No one is going to offer to pay him 800k - and he's not going to turn down a high bid of 300-400k a week to stay on that contract, that would be insane. Mino is doing what Mino does best - squeezing out every penny he can for his client.

I hope we are in for him. But the way glazeronomic works, more chances it will be Benzema rather than Haaland. Add a CDM for 40m and that will be summer business for us.

We dodged Kane and now appear to have no interest in Ronaldo either.
We are 110% invested in getting this guy me thinks.
I hope Haaland has given Ole some indication that he's coming though as we're going to look like complete idiots otherwise after turning down Kane and Ronaldo.

I can see us missing out on Haaland onnthe financials and our lack of big trophies recently. So Kane would be fair game as would Benzema if Haaland went to madrid theoretically.

I dont know why utd fans are so optimistic on signing the most wanted striker in the world when we haven't won a PL title for 8 years now and a CL for 13 years now.

Great place to come to win both and win balon dor trophies as well.

Absolutely no way he goes to that dog shit league,

This is the thing with PSG and they know it, for as much glitz and glamour they like to swoon around with they can never regardless of the money they have change the domestic league they play in, which is not respected in Europe, sure you will get the odd cash hungry young gun go to PSG aka Neymar but serious footballers who actually give a rip about the football part are not going in there prime to play in France,

Mbappe knows it thats why he's desperate to get away, Haaland for sure knows the real competitions is in England or Spain

Neymar, Di Maria and Messi feeding Haaland against a bunch of farmers. What a bloodbath that would be.

They can make as many attempts as they want, he isn't going to the French league.
I think it could be a good step for him at this stage, still only 21. 5 seasons there and a big move when 26 to PL or La Liga.

He'd bang goals in for fun in that league, have a great chance at the CL and play with Messi and Neymar

It also works perfectly for PSG. Let Mbappe go and chuck it all on Haaland
