What I find weird in this transfer is that it is literally Ronaldo calling the shots! Not one word for Juve of whether they are willing to sell, or even need to sell ect? Nope, just Ronaldo saying I've decided I'm not playing again for Juve, so drop me.
Well as Der Spiegel showed, Cristiano goes ahead and does what he wants regardless of who says no to him.

Deepthroating information to Howard Nurse.
He couldn't care less about the fans, he's going there to win things, they are a very attractive option for him, definitely compared to a struggling Juve.
The focus now should be to stop him winning anything. Stop moping around and start challenging. We have the squad - let’s use it as fuel. And if Mctominay doesn’t nail him (not dangerously of course) within the first 2 minutes of our annual pep beating then he’s not the player I think he is.

Well no, because I wanted to find out how United fans took to Denis Law leaving us for City, regardless of whether or not his goal relegated us. Though that would've be the cherry on the icing.
Double down? I could give a feck pal.
You seem personally offended by me jokingly using old fecker.
The sexual tension between you two is getting out of hand.

And that is the reason why i don't understand why most fans still like Schmeichel and Cole.
Andy Cole joined them a few years after we had sold him and he was at the end of his career. Schmeichel doing the cartwheel in front of United fans was pathetic though.

You lot need to get a grip of yourself, saw some guy suggesting that he should get an elbow to the face in the derby, I didn’t know wishing injury on players suddenly become acceptable.

He doesn’t give a shit about us, never has, it’s all about him. Acting like a bunch of heartbroken fan girls is pathetic.

If we have any luck, this will light a fire under the current lot’s arses, and they will put an effort in this season to shut the noisy neighbors up. Look to the future, not the past.

Protests have to happen again over those yankee scumbags turning down a move for him, why on earth didn't the Portuguse prat tell us he wanted to move before we signed Edi up for another year

This is proper upsetting.

And not like 'football' upsetting.

More like very real 'my childhood has been retrospectively shattered and I'm going to talk about this with my therapist on Monday' kind of upsetting.

Feck sake Ronnie

Really? Actually really though? I was like that tbh when he engineered a way out of United to Real Madrid. Now, nothing surprises me with this fella.

For what it's worth (and it's more me praying at this point hahaha, pathetic I know) but

City are 1/3
and United's odds have shortened to 3/1
Yeah, a bit of shift from earlier, but you can see how volatile the market is on the exchanges.

City now heavy odds-on favs, but United second favs. Can’t help feel that is sentimental money, with people thinking SAF is going to do another Berbatov. Staying at Juventus is now third fav, and you can get 20/1 or more on him going to PSG.

I thought he said before we would be the only Manchester club he'd return to... words obviously mean nothing

Hope it lights a fire under our current lot

I know he's not at his peak now but the thought of him at City is scary

Juve want him to leave and basically do not care where he goes. They feel at this point he is not making them more likely to win the CL - the reason they're paying him so much.

So Ronaldo and Mendes have free reign to negotiate with who they like to sort out a deal.

My God.

He never wanted to come here.

We didn't turn down a move for him.

Some of you are so blinded by this affection for Ronaldo.

The man does not care about Manchester United and never has.

To be fair, Man City isn’t even a Man United rival. Let’s be honest they are a small time club.

Joining Liverpool would be much worse as they are their real rivals.

That certainly sounds like a reasonable and well planned way to go about it.

Against whom are we protesting though by that comprehension of events? Yanks, Portuguese, both?

Not surprised by Ronaldo betraying United and Ferguson at all. He's always come across as a self serving c***

Anyone who still supports this treacherous snake after this doesn't deserve to call themselves a United fan.

I'll be honest pal, I've seen nothing regarding that at all?
They want him off the wage bill. He was meant to win them the CL but it never happened. Pirlo left him out of their vital last game of the season and Allegri has left him out at the start of this one too.

Just because Liverpool are our main rivals doesn't mean City aren't rivals.

I'd say Man City are not a Man Utd rival because they are so far ahead of us on the pitch.

We can make history jibes all we want, call them plastic but they are simply the best team in the land right now, even without a European Cup to offer.

Oh yanks without doubt they are the reason we are forced to miss out on signing a midfielder this summer

Was of the understanding that Ronaldo refused to play the first game because he wanted a move away? Juve can't honestly want rid because they didn't win the CL? Surely they know one person doesn't make this possible?

I’d say they’re not a rival because they aren’t a football club - they’re literally a state propaganda tool. But hey each to their own.

Believe me I'm already in a state because he is going there combined with NO MIDFIELDER
Don't even want to imagine the state of things if PSG sign Pogba with their Mbappe money before the window ends without us getting any replacement

I think they both just want to part ways. It was a short term punt to bring him in and be the missing piece. They rule Serie A but the last time they won the CL was in 1996.

They are a rival if you live and work in Manchester. We're going to have to listen to all this forever now.

One of our former players going to city because he has a better chance of winning trophies there. It's horrible.

Its just like...why?! Why City? Of all the teams you'd possibly go to, after years of saying you couldn't play for any other PL team, you choose the team (short of Liverpool) that would disrespect Man United as a franchise and their fanbase the most.

I wonder what would be a bigger slap in the face of the fanbases, him going to City or joining Athletico/Barcelona?.

They're not the first or the last state/oil driven propaganda tool in football.

Probably time to give up on watching elite football for all of us if we disregard the best teams on the basis of the bank roll...it's only going to get worse.
