Started yesterday today sold

This show how there’s no vision and organisation
Brilliant by Ole. Played him in the shop window against Leeds first match of season and also dangled the carrot again yesterday.

Good luck to James. He seemed like a good lad but he simply was not good enough for United.

United will use his vacant number (21) to more use than his fee for a new player. This helped finance Ronaldo and allows Cavani to get 21 and enables Ronaldo to get (again) the 7 shirt.

Good luck James. Always gave his all and was worth the punt overall, gets a tidy profit.

Wish him all the best, except against us.

I was never a fan and happy to see him go as seeing him in the lineup has been infuriating for the last couple of years.

Good luck to him though, he did try hard.

Everybody wins here. We get a good fee for a player we don’t need. Leeds get a player who will suit them down to a tee. James will get plenty of game time and should enjoy his football at Elland Road.

Spend the fecking money.

I don't know why people are surprisedat the fee. He's a 23 year old international that regularly plays for Manchester United. Reserves are going for £20m nowadays.
And I was thinking, if we could have squeezed more :D

Presume Ole will fall on his sword now they’ve sold his main man.

Dont know why there are some who are surprised at the fee tbh, look at some of the ex-Liverpool players who got sold on for decent money even after having zero impact at Anfield.

We took a punt on him for cheap, hasn’t worked out, made some money. I wish we had been doing this a bit more often instead of spending £40m + on players we weren’t sure of.

Good luck DJ, shame it didn’t work for you, sure he will thrive in the Leeds team.
Remember feeling emotional for him scoring on his debut against Chelsea, very special moment for the lad considering the sad circumstances surrounding his father.

Good fee for us. And I think he'll be very good for Leeds in that system. And I think Leeds think that way as well given they are spending a club record fee on him.

He'll do well and has a lot of potential and speed to burn. His first few months were quite good but really needs regular football on the left with more chances to shoot to build up his game. He can be so dangerous on the counter, his best match was probably agasint City at Eastlands a couple of seasons ago I think.

Think he'll be a good signing for Leeds, and I expect him to do well under Bielsas instructions.

The United and Ole style of "express yourself" in attack doesn't really bring the most out of James, me thinks. He's more suited to a specific role and having specific tasks. Remember James having a few good runs in behind at a certain period, but never really found the net - which he should've done to be fair. Imagine Phillips will find James with his long balls in behind. Good deal for both Leeds and James.

Good luck to the guy. His debut goal will be remembered.

Wish him the best. He did good amount of hard work and was almost always available. Can't ask for more.

Also nice to see Peter Risdale getting another crack at the Leeds gig.

Shirt numbers have already been allocated for the season can’t be altered now, unless it’s special circumstances.

I see that the price is continuously rising. First Romano said 28M euros with all addons. Now we are getting 30M GBP.
