I was euphoric on Friday like all United fans but a few days later now and I’m full of questions.

How do we accommodate Rashford, Pogba, Greenwood, Sancho and Bruno in our lineup? I know it’s a squad game but these guys are all superstars.

Are we really leaving Cavani warming the bench?

Is Ole strong enough to bench Ronaldo if he doesn’t deliver?
Competition for places is never a bad thing. City are well stocked up front too, and they seem to keep everyone happy.

None of them are superstars, only superstar we have is Ronaldo and at a stretch Pogba.

Once Dan James is transferred to Leeds.....Cavani's squad number will officially be 21.

And Cristiano will again wear 7, twelve years later.
Not that simple, the premier league have can only do it in special circumstances as the numbers have been registered already. Wishing we can make it happen. Fingers crossed.

United’s marketing team and Ronaldo is a match made in $$$ heaven.
Read somewhere today we are expecting 30m in the first 12months from Ronaldo mania. Juve received €46m in the first 12 months, so I think we can do better haha!

The next 2 weeks of buildup is actually better for the unveiling at OT. The anticipation rises with each passing day and the noise is going to be that much louder. I wish I was living in the UK and could go to this game. Wouldnt be anywhere else in the world on Sept. 11.
100% agree!! He has blown up the internet... Hope he comes back fit and ready as he barely gets any time to train with his new teammates.

Not sure if anyone has seen this. Apologies if posted previously

:D :D :D
Exactly!! He brings global happiness back to Old Trafford... it's more than just goals, marketing and performance.

I'd hope that at 36 even Ronaldo would be accepting he can't do 60 games a season. There's plenty of room for rotation.

does he not realise Ronaldo played more minutes than all our Midfielders and Attackers last season, bar 2 (Rashford & Bruno)?

Maguire, Lindelof & AWB played more, but lets be honest they had to when we had the backups that we did. He will easily play 40+ games if he stays injury free.
He's just bitter that he's been made to look a right bellend.

No chance he gets less than 20 goal involvements.
He barely assists(although his passing is underrated), he got 4 last season and the 7 the season before that(in all comps). I can easily switch goals for goals involvements and the point will still stand imo. In all comps :

Less than 20 goals : Disappointing
20-30 goals : Good
30-40 goals : Excellent
40+ goals : Elite

Talksport are saying we've asked for special dispensation from the PL so Ronaldo can have no.7
Don't listen to them they just guess.

Was hilarious watching those cnuts on deadline day come out with their exclusives from key sources close to the deal.

They were just reading Fabrizios timeline on twitter and reporting everything second hand.

Massive disrespect to City the way he calls us 'Manchester'.

Beautiful too.
Tbh a lot of players outside of England still refer to us as Manchester, must wind city up to no end. :D

I remember Dani Alves after either being drawn against City or linked to them for a transfer (can't remember which) said he was surprised there were two teams in Manchester

These guys are so shameless
And he's not the only one to do a u-turn either.

It actually makes me chuckle a bit how many pundits and ex players are so bitter towards us. Seeing Souness literally frothing at the mouth over Pogba's tackle was embarrassing to watch.

Disappointed to read so little discussion, both in the media and on RedCafe, around Ronaldo's rape allegations. Especially in the context of Mendy being incarcerated just a few days before.

It's understandable that the player coming back brings powerful emotions to fans but I would have liked not to have OGS praise him as a human being.

In 2017/18 Arnautovic applied to change his number from 27 to 7 after playing the first match of the season and it was approved. West Ham later signed Evra and he took the number 27

Seems like an identical situation with Cavani/Ronaldo so he should get number 7

Allegation.

plural noun: allegations
  1. a claim or assertion that someone has done something illegal or wrong, typically one made without proof.

They're allegations though? Ole was speaking about his experience of Ronaldo as a person.

Most fans don't seem that bothered. I'm pretty sure if it was another player we'd have had a very different reaction. The Atheletic just did a story on it. I'm expecting a lot more once the civil case against him gets going.

The judge has already ruled there isn’t enough evidence to go ahead so what are you expecting to happen?

Yeah why aren't we talking more about an allegation that the criminal court has dismissed already

It was done to death a few years ago and the authorities did not pursue charges even when it was revisited. What's left to discuss?
