I ordered one for my son and neice just as the 7 was confirmed. The order says I should receive it within 5 days but I am based in Manchester - I only had to order because I'm isolating with covid - otherwise I would have just gone to the megastore.
Kids sizes haven't been affected as much surprisingly. But they usually have excess supply, as they're the ones that get reduced the most come April/May time.

I've been after a long sleeve adult version with no name on since a week after release and it still says sold out.

But but he is a bad signing for young players development?

Sounds more like he has a lot of respect and administration for him whilst realising the limits of his talent. Nobody would ever put Lukaku in the same bracket as Ronaldo including Lukaku himself as we can see.
He’s definitely only good enough to be Ronaldos secretary.

Hahaha sorry mate, at least I didn’t post it in the ‘what do we do about this’ thread!

You’re right about Lukaku too, credit where it’s due.

I don't think I'm being overdramatic when I say that this is literally the worst thing anyone has ever seen. United really need to get rid of whichever dumb shit BuzzFeed reject runs their social media.

All sold out in Norway. New record as well and with everyone not getting the shirts, the record will be next to impossible to beat.

Stop complaining about the official Man Utd Twitter account. If you don't like something just ignore it. All Ronaldo posts have the most likes so it's working. Maybe not for grumpy old men on redcafe but Twitter is a different younger trendy demographic which the club wants to appeal to.. nothing wrong with that and it's working with his Number 7 shirt selling the most in the World so a record. It's great for the club to make money surely!? Why would fans moan about that unbelievable Jeff! not like we are winning anything recently.. only way is up! With Viva Ronaldo and his winning mentality of CR7!

The kiss and tell stories have already started in the British media surprise surprise a bit early than I thought.. I don't deny Ron has a wondering eye for the ladies and the woman of Manchester and UK will be throwing themselves at him he's a billionaire and worlds most followed athlete he's a football rockstar in the same way George Best was probably even bigger in this digital social media age.. but he seems in a stable relationship and has a young family so I don't think he would ruin that

RON TO A WINNER Cristiano Ronaldo oozes class on the pitch and off it as well – I’m delighted he’s re-signed for Man Utd

"Ronaldo, being the fantastic guy he is, was great with everyone as always, and when I asked if we could get a picture with the kids, he was good as gold."

I was on holiday in Sardinia with Sandra and Ronaldo was staying in the same hotel. He was with his whole family — there must have been 20 of them.

His mum, cousins, nieces, nephews, the lot, and he was just so lovely to everyone. He had time for anyone who asked, a smile and a word or two for them all, just a really nice guy.

Love Harry and Ronny seems a great guy from the people who've met/know him! :keano: A credit to Manchester United!

---------------------------------------------------

“People comment on the size of fees and the money involved but that’s not an issue for Cristiano because he is a very wealthy man.

“It’s quite refreshing when money hasn’t been a deciding factor in this transfer. It’s happened simply because he wants to be back at United and you would like to think he sees an opportunity to continue winning trophies, which he has done all his career.

This might be the time where a player does actually pay for his own transfer fee with shirt sales. If United make 10% per shirt it shouldn’t be too far off at least

Just milk that Ronaldo social media cow for all it’s worth! They’d be fools not to capitalise on one of the most famous athletes on the planet. Another Ronaldo tweet brings another few dozen shirt sales, followers etc.

Sky and BT are sitting somewhere heads in hands, cursing themselves why neither of them didn’t opt to show this game knowing they’d bring in the viewing figures by the bucketload.

Dunno who would say that young players cant learn something by watching him, asking question part depends on if Ronaldo answers.

Counter point; don't tell other people what they can and can't like.

As for the rest of your post; if you really think that worldwide shirt sales and Twitter likes (which are apparently for "younger trendy" folk, with the fatal flaw in your argument being the fact that their largest demographic is my age group) are somehow linked then fecking hell.

If United have shown one thing over the last few years; it's that we can sell any old shite. Even tractors. And now we're talking about Cristiano Ronaldo. The club could have posted "We've signed Ronaldo" and it would've broken records. But, instead, we probably give obscene amounts of money to some whackjob who wouldn't be out of place making crappy TikToks for LadBible.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I have kids on my lawn I need to shout at before turning into my Frey Bentos pie. Most of this was me wumming siuuuuuuuuuuuuu

Why wouldn’t he answer? He is not only helping the individual but is helping the team. He isn’t that selfish.

Keep a clean shit tomorrow, United is my final bus
I didn't say he was better off the left, to be clear. I'm saying that's where Juve played him most of the time, partly out of necessity, partly because they already had outright strikers who's best qualities are being a foil for a more talented wide forward (ie Mandzukic and Morata). I really do believe that especially in his last season at Juve, the team became so dysfunctional he ended up having the burden of being the creator as well as the main goalscorer. That shouldn't happen in our team as we have some of the most creative players in Europe.

I wouldn't play him as a wide forward, partly because, as you point out, we've got younger, quicker players capable of playing in those positions, but also because it will be a liability in big games, as he won't track his fullback. Like, at all. I'd much prefer him to play up front, occasionally drop deep to exchange passes with Bruno or Greenwood or Sancho, and then spin in behind.
To be fair, I think you're right by the sounds of it. Reading what VdB's agent said about us moving Pogba off the left again to accommodate Ronaldo.

Apparently CR7 shirt sales have already paid for the first instalment of the transfer fee to Juve already crazy!:keano:And he's yet to make his debut.. I suspect he will sell a lot more shirts on match day against Newcastle on Saturday and also as the season starts and he gets into beast mode scoring goals

https://www.digitalinformationworld.com/2021/06/these-are-50-most-followed-social-media.html?m=1

He's the most followed person on social media (yes including ANYONE even US stars) with over half a billion followers! :eek:he will sell millions of shirts and bring in a lot of fans and money to the club IMO

Masterstroke by Manchester United to bring him in. He's basically a free transfer who will benefit the club so much commercially/marketing and off the field with young players learning from the GOAT (even IF that was the only reason/benefit we got him that'd be amazing but I don't think it) . Yes he is probably on high wages but you've got players like Martial, Jones, Pogba and De Gea last season etc and many others who have been stealing a living for years who hasn't achieved even a quarter of what Cristiano has. If anyone has earnt the right to do the same (even if he turns out too old) it's Cristiano.. but I suspect he'd get the most hate for it despite him being 37 years old in February and Rooney is 18-months younger and playing in Socceraid with Big Chunkz. Forgetting everything he's achieved and what he has brought off the field. I think he will be a success but it's all relative to not expecting too much. Set expectations low and hopefully he shocks us. Don't forget, he can't carry the whole team on his back like he did in his first spell here. So we can't blame Ronny for everything if the team isn't successful or doesn't create enough goal scoring chances for him inside the box (he can't create his own chances anymore). You have players in the prime like Pogba, Fernandes who need to also step up and take responsibility to create chances for Ronaldo, as Ronaldo at his age needs the team to adapt to his strengths to get the best out of him.. crosses whipped into the box and back post. And needs Pogba and Fernandes etc to create chances for him inside the box. It's not like we are adding Ronaldo to a winning team.. we are adding Ronaldo to a team that is failing to deliver trophies and challenge for big trophies so it can't be all on his shoulders if we don't especially at 36 years old. But let's keep our fingers crossed for successful season! Either way I'll enjoy the ride with Ronny back! It'll be fun..
