City have got 700 players to choose from so they're fine but big issue for Liverpool.

Guess an issue for our midfield? McT training but didn't think he'd be back for a bit?

DONNY VAN DE BEEK MAY PLAY!!!!!

(This is not a drill, I repeat not a drill).
More likely we start with 10 men

My move is to Bruno+Ings out for Ronaldo+Jota. I was trying to avoid that this GW but it is tempting. (-4)
Second option is Toney+Brownhill to Jota+4.5 fwd (-4)
Third is directly Benrahma to Jota (free)
My opinion is that Ronny starts and Jota must be a cert now and Will deffo score points against Leeds. I won't be making any changes till tomorrow still like. Get the international games through with first.

I'm on this for my WC team. Not sure about Torres, might want to downgrade him to get Tierney instead of White.
Rest looks pretty template.

Sanchez (4.0)
TAA - Christensen - White (Coady, Williams)
Salah - Jota - Benrahma - Torres (Allan)
Ronaldo - Antonio - DCL

Need some advice guys, I have 2 free transfers. Plan was to go Bruno and Ings to Jota and Ronaldo but I got 3 Pool players with TAA Salah and Tsimi. Is it worth taking a -4 and take out Tsimi which allows for Jota? Alternative is going Bruno to Traore/Gray and Ings to Ronaldo. I do want Jota for the next 3 fixtures so I'm not sure what to do.

I am going Bruno and Ings to Ronaldo and Torres for -4

I would do the -4 in this case. Jota is starting against Leeds, and all you need is one return from him to make that up, as I doubt Ings scores away to Chelsea.

You could do Gray/Traore and they could easily return in their fixtures, but Jota will be 7,7 by then. There will be a mini rush to get him in once Firmino is confirmed out.

Traores fixtures are so good though, so only do it if you really want Jota.

You will have to change Jota within 3 gameweeks when Firmino is back, Benrahma and Antonio is too much West Ham I think it's one or the other and Hammers don't have the best of upcoming fixtures, Torres is good I think for a few game weeks but when CL starts he will be rotated, Defence is ok if not abit thin

Out of that team I like your front 3 and Salah/TAA, the rest is maybe ok for a few games but if it's a WC team you want some stability with the option to easily transfer a player out without any hits

Just my opinion though

The other way to look at it is, you will potentially have the starting number 9 for one of the best teams in the country for 3 games against Leeds, Palace and Brentford!

I think it’s worth having to sub him out in 3 weeks time.

100% he’s a selfish player too. He’s up there for most shots and he hasn’t even played in every game. He should be replacing Bobby F anyway for my money.

Oh I agree but if you have to sub Torres/Benrahma/Christensen out in 3 weeks or an injury happens then your stuck with Jota for a few extra gw where he is playing 0 minutes or 20, thats why if you had a more stable team it would be acceptable to have Jota

Toney, Lukaku, Antonio

Is Ricarlison poetically out now due to Brazilgate? Gray is surely going to start either way
Apparently Richarlison is allowed to play for some reason. But I doubt Gray will be dropped while he's in form

Richarlison is free to play as Everton allowed him to play the Copa America and the Olympics.
And yes, Gray will start irrespective of Richarlison's situation.

Argh, firmino confirmed out has given me a dilemma. I'm caught between panicking and getting rid of Bruno for him (then Ronnie for Ings next week) and stubbornly holding on to Bruno until after this gw. Feck is, I'll sleep on it and see what looks good tomorrow.

Jota playing up front while Firmino's out should mitigate not having Salah, and I don't really want them both. Got to get Torres in today before his price rises again
It won’t mitigate it. It will be a mistake and it’s much harder to switch back from 7.6 to 12.5. Firmino is out for one game. He will be back next game.

I don’t think there are enough changes there to use a wildcard. Forget Laporte for this week, play White at home to Norwich and take a -8 if you are really set on those changes.

Your team is fine though and Toney/Bruno/Salah could all return this week with their fixtures. I would be keeping Salah though with Palace and Brentford next!

I used my wildcard, but have made 9-10 changes, only keeping Salah, TAA, Greenwood and Antonio in first eleven and getting rid of Amartey, Tsimikas on the bench.

Yeah, I would be taking out Christensen, as they have tough games in the next few anyway and Thiago will be back for the easy run.

I think Jota/Torres/Benrahma is easy enough to manage though. I would even be changing out Benrahma for Raphinha or Traore before going without Jota for next 3 games/

I feel like you're falling into the trap of going with the flavour of the week.

There's every chance that Salah and Bruno outscore Jota and Ronaldo. Okay Torres will likely beat Toney but it's not worth wildcarding for. Livramento to Laporte is unnecessary.

Edit: I actually prefer Toney for this week too, just save up another transfer and take a hit next week if you want to make them transfers?

Could just as easily go the other way, but I wouldn't waste my wildcard on it.

I'd agree with Benrahma for Rahphina as he already has Antonio, Reece James or Chillwell is the defence you want for Chelsea

Why would use a wildcard to make a change in defense and leave that defender on the bench? That too an expensive defender. My minimum changes to a team is 7 changes if I’m using a WC. If not I will not use it.

Makes sense, I'm trying to force Torres in before his price rise, but using a WC may not actually get me any extra points this week. May just leave it til next week and take a hit if needed.

You can bring in Torres if you’d like (I still don’t trust Man City players). But taking a -4 at this point in the season is much better than using up a WC.

Ok, so I had this conundrum after the last GW and had a week or so to think about it... I'm still none the wiser

Swapping Bruno & Ings to Ronaldo and one of:

Greenwood
+ On form, decent fixtures and plays for United.
- I feel I might have missed the boat with him. Getting him also blocks my Toney to DCL move next week.

Jota
+ Should play and the fixtures coming up are great. Plays for a very attacking team.
- Have to take a -4 to get him (Tsimikas). Rotation risk soon. Blocks my Toney to DCL move next week.

Traore
+ Great fixtures and really high xG.
- Can't hit a barn door and therefore always underperforms his xG.

Trincao
+ Great fixtures, passes the eye-test.
- Still not too familiar with him and I hear he will start getting rotated soon due to Hwang and Podence.

Gray
+ Great fixtures. Very direct, definitely has a few goals and assists in him.
- Still don't trust him, will reduce flexibility later down the line due to his low price. Don't really want to double up on Everton so it'll mean I won't get DCL next week.

Sarr
+ Good fixtures. Should be on pens. Guaranteed starter. Will be involved in most of Watford's goals.
- Think Watford are a bit shit. Haven't scored a goal since the opening game.

Torres
+ Plays for City as a number 9
- Pep roulette. Only one return in 3 games and they won't be playing the Arse every week.

As you can see, none stick out. I think Torres is out the window and I'm leaning towards Trincao, Gray or Sarr. If I didn't have Tsimikas, Jota would have been the one for sure!

Thoughts?

This is for my FPL draft team. So money is not an issue.

I will not get Ronaldo as I am last in the waiver list for this GW. My mate who has been last from GW1 is set to pick Ronaldo (after starting with Kane and picking Lukaku :nervous: )

Any other forward that can have a good run of form and can help with a differential? I already have Antonio and DCL.

Would be Jota for sure but for Tsim, I have the same problem. Greenwood would be next but I like the DCL move.. Norwich on the horizon.

I'd be tempted by Pep roulette, so definitely don't do it :wenger:

Thanks lads. I might just go for Gray in that case. can always WC him out soon as I plan to play that in GW7 or 8.
