More Ole out waffle.
Nothing in here that hasn't been posted 1000s of times already.

Honestly the Board. If they had any clue they would not have given the contract before the end of the temporary contract and end of that season. We lost the chance to hire a top manager because of that. Not me. Between Moyes and Ole I would have given them 2 years in total, instead we’re into 10th year post-SAF with nothing to show for it. As a matter of fact our board and fans are mostly clueless when it comes to seeing through managers ability.
And now wonder why you genius.More Ole out waffle.

Except for the dodgy money and plastic parts, I don’t see anything wrong with the rest.I would literally rather never win the champions league again than become a dodgy money, manager sacking, young player hoarding, plastic football club.
Integrity & Tradition mean something here.
Not really, we don’t overrate our squad/manager like they used to.Because people who have been laughing at the scousers for the last 25 years can’t realise when they themselves become the very thing that they’ve been mocking.
Good post. Ole has taken a squad that was in a bad place and improved it immeasurably. Nobody can question that we have a much stronger squad of players than we had 3 years ago. He has been the subject of a lot of unwarranted abuse the entire time. Not just from our own fans. There has been a clear and obvious media bias against him too.David Moyes - Everyone got sick off and was counting down the days until he was sacked
Van Gaal - Most got sick of and were delighted he was sacked even after the FA Cup
Mourinho - Most everyone was delighted he was sacked
Ole - Go to one of the many Ole threads
Basically, Man Utd fans can tell when a manager is not good enough and get suitably impatient. I am not sure what you want people to do.
Zidane is available, and probably even better than those 2People are afraid if Ole goes we would hire the wrong manager. If someone like Klopp or Pep was available the amount of support Ole has will reduce.
I don't see how this is praise worthy tbh. Getting rid of some players who were past it or who wanted to leave and choosing to buy some others isn't really that hard. It's what you do with the resulting team matters the most.Good post. Ole has taken a squad that was in a bad place and improved it immeasurably. If we go on a sustained run of poor form and results now then there's every chance that it will cost him his job. To say that people have been unfailingly patient towards him though is just bollox. He has met the objectives needed to retain his job season on season.
Louis and Jose say Hi.It has always irked me that some United fans refuse to believe that managers have levels just like players and you simply can't win with average manager who has no plan and tactical nous. We've seen the likes of Klopp, Pep etc. build teams that play identically dominating brands of football across multiple leagues. It's as if they have some sort of formula, a secret recipe that if given time and adequate resources will definitely result in successful teams that dominate games and win silverware. Why are some United fans and the board completely oblivious to this?
I think it is praise worthy. We have seen with our own eyes how easy it is to spend money badly. I think it becomes agenda driven when we refuse to give someone credit for things that they have done well. Criticise him for recent performances, that's fair game, but keep it balanced.I don't see how this is praise worthy tbh. With the money he's had available, it only is logical he's managed to improve the team
Missed a trick and they know they have, bit the Glazers couldn't miss out on Ronny. That said is not the issues, we have to sell Fred and DVB . To get a CM like Rice Bassouma or DJong from Barca if they would like a swap even and few quid. January has to be that postion. He needs to go for not prioritising a DM before signing any one in this window.
Its In excusable not to address that position first.
Mctominay or Fred should not be starting in a title chasing side week in week out.
I would always keep the same level of judgment regardless of the manager. Selling Lukaku was easy, selling Smalling was easy, selling Young was easy, buying Varane was easy, buying Maguire was easy, buying Ronaldo was easy etc etc...I think it is praise worthy. Funny you demand 'balanced' posts yet write stuff like that... Immeasurably my ass.Good post. Ole has taken a squad that was in a bad place and improved it immeasurably.
He's still annoyed his Ole out poll thread, which he never posted in, was closed. You are imagining things.
The majority wanted Ole in when the thread was closed. My understanding was that's why it was closed as the premise was moot. Why was the sack Ole thread closed when it had hundreds of pages in the thread and a vote that had gone to 55% of voters wanting Ole out?
He wouldn't even get the job in the 1st place much less kept it.It boils down to this question for me. Would Ole ever have kept this job if he wasn't a Utd legend ? The answer is no for me
No idea but it’s better than sticking with this terrible bland football… we aren’t winning a single thing under Ole so next please !We had Ferguson for 20 odd years. Moyes was supposed to be the next Ferguson, then came world renowned van Gaal swiftly followed by one of the greatest premier League managers ever....... And now an ex player because they first three didn't work (not that they were ever going to given what their predecessor achieved). The op can only really complain about the latest manager imo. Clearly he's not really up to it, but what next?
teams from Eliteserien (Norway League) perhaps. If we moved OGS on, which teams would be interested in employing him?
He's done ok in the market, not great. Maguire's form at United has been very patchy, I still haven't made up my mind on him considering the huge amount he cost, maybe he'll improve under a better manager. Wan Bissaka and VDB are both misses for me, for the large amount they cost. Dan James has come and gone. His refusal to address the central midfield situation is highly questionable.I think it is praise worthy. We have seen with our own eyes how easy it is to spend money badly. I think it becomes agenda driven when we refuse to give someone credit for things that they have done well. Criticise him for recent performances, that's fair game, but keep it balanced.
This is just going to be another Ole in/Ole out thread with a different title for the same stuff to be posted again and again and again. It was tiresome a long time ago, now it appears to be coming more frequent again. And now wonder why you genius.
Good to see the deluded ones are getting fewer though.
Spot on.United fans were burned by crap outside appointments like Moyes, LVG and Mourinho. Solskjaer has done a better job, but more than anything, he's given a sense of warm sentimentality that's been missing in previous years.
So people are hanging on to that.
It's Heart vs Head.
Even if we got one of those, people will just want the next manager of the hour when things aren't going well.Telling Man Utd fans what it's like to have a proper elite manager are we?
I'm sure we don't know what that feels like
Just because some of us don't fancy Conte or Zidane (are they even interested??) or Graham fecking Potter doesn't mean we've lost grip with reality.
People need to stop putting their desperation to see the back of Ole ahead of the fact people are entitled to their own opinions.
Yes exactly and we will be called idiots again for not agreeing with them.Even if we got one of those, people will just want the next manager of the hour when things aren't going well.
And what exactly is wrong with that?Even if we got one of those, people will just want the next manager of the hour when things aren't going well.
And what exactly is wrong with that?
The manager is an employee of the club, why should the relationship extends beyond his performance?
