He only needs 1 win for the upgrade doesn't he? If/when Chelsea get a goal up, sell imo. Might even want to sell pre game to avoid people doing the same. Find it hard to believe a card like that is going to hold its value when literally everything has dropped and continues to drop.

I’ve got to division 2 and it’s just too good for me. Not fun at all. The lack of relegation is a really stupid feature
Massive F U to customers so they pay their money and give up quickly on it. Fifa 23 will come out with relegations on and everyone will lap it up
The current season ends in 6 days and apparently everybody will either start at division 10 again or go down one division so if you finished the season in 2 you’ll start the next one in 3.
That’s what some streamers have said I believe. I don’t know for a fact if it will happen.
starting at Division 10 would make most sense I think. Otherwise I’m going to eventually get promoted again after a couple of week or so and then be back here. If it’s starting at 10 again, I’m fine with it
Just stop yourself getting promoted that’s what I do. Go into a game let your opponent score and quit.
Starting at 10 again would be awful. Outside of it taking ages to get back to your natural division and the games lasting about 2 mins as people will just quit after going a goal down, naturally lower div people will be getting destroyed and can't see them sticking around to spend money on a game when they lose every game by huge margins.
I'm in div 1 atm and outside of a few games where I either win or lose 4-0 the games are normally pretty close. Would rather lose 1/2 nil and feel I'm getting better for the loss then thrash someone 4 nil by half time and get nothing but a win .

You’re a better man than me, I love smashing people. Agreed though most of my games in Div 1 are really close but I think all that really does is encourage pure meta builds and horrible tactics. It’s more fun having a mix.
Anyone found any good slider settings against the AI? Been trying to do a career with a created club but I’m at my wit’s end.
Regardless of team, the AI are phenomenally press resistant and barely ever make a mistake. If they do it’s an unrealistic unforced error, but press them to within an inch of their lives and they’ll ping pong that ball through you like prime Barcelona.
You can’t ‘fool’ the AI either because they read your button inputs. Want to dummy the ball through your legs? They’re already standing there to block. They never attempt to make a tackle and get tricked by it. Running one on one against a player it mostly feels like if you go one way, they’ve already moved there. And if you went the other way they’d have blocked that too. Every passing lane is perfectly cut out at all times and every pass they make is exact and exploits every bit of space you leave. It’s never over hit. There’s never a long ball headed on to nobody, or a cross that’s too heavy which evades everyone. Every shot I take from any distance is blocked by a defender who just stands in the path of it. When you counter attack they always have four defenders in a line. Nobody is ever out of position after being caught upfield. If their defenders get even close to you it’s basically an auto-tackle. It’s always so perfect.
And this is being done by teams like Preston North End. I win the games no problem but it’s just shit to play. You learn what works and just score goals that way, which sucks any creativity out of the player. Are there any slider settings that can make up for such blatant neglect in this area of the game?

yeah, it’s absolute wank. Like you’ve said, you learn how to score rather than actually play decent football.
It is the same if you play against the AI in UT. Even if they have 40 Chemistry they’ll still be pinging it about and it feels like you’re the one on 40 and they’re on 100 with all of your mistimed passes etc. I don’t get it.

I don’t understand the criticism of Ronaldo personably. So far I’ve played 13 division rival games and he’s scored 22 goals. The guy is a complete machine and compared to the champions league Werner it’s night and day with his extra dribbling and heading ability. Absolutely love him!

Corona is very similar to Neymar overall - slightly slower but better stamina and defending make him far better out of possession. Hard to link but a very nice (and cost-effective) option if you can get him between two icons.Ginola drives me insane

Another week, another set of dead rewards. 30k from the if pack, Kroos from the 100k pack and 3 useless reds. Do love the new WL format but still doesn't change the fact rewards are typically shite. Need leagues sbc's back pronto (preferably the old ones where you got a player) game is becoming a bit stale atm, feels like I log in at 6 check the content then log out at 6.02.
I haven’t had the time to play much rivals so it’s nothing impressive, around 2000. Realized I should prioritize rivals a lot more, but instinctively it’s hard to neclect WL.
Finally made it into the elite rank which I’m happy about. There’s some seriously good teams knocking about now though. Does anyone else see the teams full of legends and just think it’s just a little bit sad at this point that they have probably had to spend hundreds of pounds or more to have that team? Even worse when I then still manage to beat a team with them all in. Imagine spending that much money on far superior players and still losing! Must be hard to take. Overall I do think this game is the best FIFA in years though, it’s got such a great balance and even the online meta while annoying, isn’t fundamentally broken like last year.

You must have had some insane pack luck. I'm building a team with one of my mates this year so we are sharing wealth and I think we have just about got to a 1.5 million team but that doesn't scratch the surface of the best Hero/Legend cards. If people have managed to get teams with 5/6 of those cards I find it hard to believe they haven't spent some money (likely a lot) or literally has insane luck and packed a couple of heroes somehow.

Depends who you have but probably too late to sell now for the majority as those preview 50k packs just killed the market, some still seem to be dropping a bit but could be a bit risky.
Didnt realise the 50k preview packs were going to be a thing. Bought RB Kulusevski for 70k in the morning yesterday ready for champs. Finished my games, packed no one from the rewards, but made enough to be able to afford RB Kessie at 145k.

Got him in place of baby Seedorf so I could afford mid VdS and use Dante as slightly prefer Dante to Kimpem/Marq and had Cech/Donnarumma who neither I'm a massive fan of - so bought Kessie @ 220k Saturday and he basically halved in price after a few hours
