Based on the laws and what I've seen, right decision.

But it's completely mental he can even claim self defence while walking around with a rifle.

Did he cry when they read the verdict?

I'm looking forward to the grandstanding and championing of him as a right wing poster boy.

This was written in the script from the start. If it was a black boy that shot a white person this would have all gone down differently.

That sets a pretty terrible precedent. I think i'd emigrate if i was living in america, I probably would have a long time ago tbh but this alone would be enough for me to bail out.

Just curious, but do you fear for the citizens of Kenosha from rioters?
Sure. But more so the former.

I just cant imagine an analogous situation in the UK where a guy decides to go into a crowd/riot in his best call of duty cosplaying fantasy vigilante mode, looking like an active shooter and a similar verdict being reached with people dead.

I mean i get the acquittal on the legal grounds, sort of, as presented but not morally, and worries for its implications for left wing protestors there from far right militia types who will be emboldened by this

He still killed 2 people, I dunno. I find it weird that you can just get off the hook free after killing 2 people

Am I right in understanding he wasnt legally permitted to carry the AR-15? Isnt there some repercussions for firing a weapon like that without a licence?

hows it looking for future civil suits etc? Or are we all just consigned to him being on fox/carpool karoke now?

@Drainy found guilty on all counts by the caf court but Rittenhouse cleared.

What's the atmosphere like amongst the crowd/protestors/supports outside? I fear there will be shootings in the wake of this.

Yep. Lived on the Eastern Shore for a little while when I was younger. I’ve been all over the great state of Maryland, and I know for a fact that @Drainy wouldn’t be considered a redneck by anyone
Neck mentality knows no latitude or longitude.

Not necessarily calling you one, but one can encapsulate said mentality in Greenland.
