Who even believes a word out of his mouth these days?
He’s been churning out the same BS for 18 months now and then proceeds to give him zero opportunities. He’s quite happy to stick with McFred when they’re woefully out of form though

What is this Bollocks??

Why should Lingard ‘push for a move’??

Absolute tosh
Because it absolves our current management structure of further mismanagement.

He has every right to have played more than he has this season. This is an example of the under-utilisation of the entire squad. We’ve been terrible yet the same dross get multiple chances.
Because he should have looked out for himself. He was clearly not going to be a starter at Man Utd this season barring injury. Whichever manager is going to want to keep him in their squad unless they're LVG and like small squads. It was incumbent on himself to look out for himself and not Man Utd.

Maybe he feels that he is looking out for himself by staying here and getting the highest wage he can for the last 12 months of his contract.

By staying, he probably ensures he gets similar contract when he leaves.

My opinion is that it is not on the player to rectify the stupid decisions of a football club

The Zidane rejection and Pochettino link comes from here:

This guy is a journalist who reported this for COPE.

More from the article:
  • Other full-time candidates besides Poch
    • Erik ten Hag
    • Brendan Rodgers
    • Zinedine Zidane
  • Interim manager candidates
    • Laurent Blanc - not too keen on an interim role
    • Ralf Rangnick - not too interested in this role
    • Ruben Amorin (Sporting CP head coach)
    • Julen Lopetegui

I really want to know what he has done to warrant being such a sure hit over Poch. Im indifferent between the two because neither are proven enough.
He’s a proven developer of staff and done great things in the CL without loads of money to spend. That says a lot about his abilities

And Poch took Spurs to the final and finished top 4 more often than not, finishing higher than teams spending multiples more in transfers. Not to forget he did that in the Premier League itself.

Sounds like ETH isn't as proven as Poch but because hes unknown as a quantity hes a bit sexier.

I hope we can agree a deal and announce Ten Hag's coming end of season. That'll make the rest of the season more bearable.
I don't know who's better out of Ten Haag etc. But whoever it is, if they're coming at the end of the season, I hope we don't announce it before that. It's a shitty thing to do to the other team, and will destabilise them.

But ultimately he won feck all despite the best spurs team in years.
so turn that question around, why is Poch better than ten Hag ?

I am not arguing one is better than the other. I am saying both are young managers with great pedigree and similar unknown quantities.

If anything Poch is more proven because he had a great impact on Spurs and its evident the squad needed refreshing after 3 years, which is a problem hes not likely to have at United (we love to spend).

Ten Hag is a winner in Holland. Great. Maybe hes the next Cruyff, or maybe the next Koeman. We don't actually know.

I like both options. But I don't get why people post as though one is more established as a quantity than the other

I think Ten Hag is seen as an emerging talent who will be snapped up elsewhere if we don’t try. Poch is seen as someone who’s been in England and then took the easy job at PSG. Someone we could probably get if we really wanted but us he different enough? Is there something new that he’s going to bring? Im not sure about that
