Even if they re-draw, we’d still get PSG, to the surprise of no one.

Ceferin is absolutely hopeless as the head of an international sporting body and this shambles of a draw is just another example of it.

It's a cock-up that becomes egregious when they don't care to remedy it.

Funny how we get PSG every fecking season. You could have bet your house UEFA would find a way to make it Messi v Ronaldo one last time.

I'm fine with it. Aside from the hype, they're a worse team now than when we last played them, and we are a better team.

Looks like a cock-up rather than a fix, but the cock-up has resulted in Messi vs Ronaldo, so that does muddy the water a bit.
A careful and meticulous engineered cock up so that the TV companies can unload their juices on ronaldo v messi. $$$$

Too much money in sport nowadays to leave these things to chance. I have said for a long time that you can easily predict at least one draw per round by working out what is best for TV.

Case in point, United drawing Villa in the FA Cup. It's not about giving United a hard draw necessarily, it's about creating drama for TV. The return of Gerrard to OT.

United vs PSG. Again, not necessarily about giving United a hard draw to spite us, they just want that Messi vs Ronaldo match-up in an otherwise dull Round of 16

I don't necessarily dispute his uselessness but surely you can't blame the head of UEFA for this. The procedure has been pretty much the same for almost three decades now and it's not a particularly complicated one. They people on stage fecked it up, it happens, but not much Ceferin can do about that.

Wouldn’t Bayern be unhappy as well?
Why would they? They played each other last season in the group, 4-0 thrashing in Munich, Bayern fielded a complete B-team in Madrid as they were already through as group winners and still got a 1-1 there.

They'll be happy that they did not get Chelsea here for example.

Of course it was fixed. City and Chelsea get the easiest draws and United the hardest draw. Happens in every single draw.

Said before the match we would 100% get PSG and lo and behold…

They simply got sloppy and got caught this time. United should take this all the way

There is no point, nothing will come off it. This is why i'm so despondent with sports in general, the obvious rigging and corruption is just too much.

I'm fuming. The draw is rigged same with the FA cup the hardest possible tie against Aston Villa where other teams get lower league ties!! Done with football. ManUtd needed a Sporting or easier tie for confidence! Why isn't there an investigation!? Every year this happens with United.. statistically can't be chance every year getting the most difficult draws for tv and media pleasure..

United minus the Glazers
For these draws to be truly objective they need to get an average Joe to pick the teams. Not a UEFA dignitary or player. football is after all about the fans

Anyone after the Villarreal draw could legitimately take issue...Athletico are another that stands out because I doubt they would want Bayern so soon.

I don't care who we drew quite frankly, point is rules weren't adhered to and they are there for a reason, needs to be redrawn as it was wrong.

Rigged or not I think it’s better that we play a team where we are the underdog……those hyped up twats from PSG can keep blowing smoke up their own arses……

We will be in a much better state when this match comes around, funny though could be the sorcerer v the apprentice in Ralf v Poch!

If it was a fix then it was a pretty openly obvious one More likely a genuine mistake and either way IF we were not in the right pot for any draw it should be redone.
Is it conclusive that he did just not verbally say Man United instead of City (easy mistake as we are giants and they are plastic) or was the ball placed wrong?

Since when is Villa better for TV than a game between two of the big six?

In the video you can see he grabs a Liverpool ball instead of a Utd one.

0 chance they redraw this and admit they made a mistake. They'll just say the balls were in the right place but the graphics and what the guy said is wrong

Exactly, so many missing the point that this does not only affect us. I am sure Atletico would rather face us than Bayern.

It looks bad on the club if we protest this though. Looks like we're scared of playing PSG, despite it being the right call to do a redraw.
