I’ll take the point. Spurs had plenty of chances to win it. Think they’ll be in and around the top four at the end of the season. Exploited our high line very well.

I can’t be bothered with the refereeing and VAR. we’ve had things go our way as well.

For some reason, you’re choosing to state things that aren’t true.
He knew exactly what he was going pal. Made no effort to get the ball for me, reminded me of Rafael on Luiz a few years ago.
You can’t just kick someone, simples

Decent result for us. Spurs at least stay behind us and Liverpool fail to win too

Cracking football at time.

Easily one of the worst refereeing performances of the year.

Robertson in this game assisted a goal, scored a goal, and got sent off

That must be rare surely?
Just read on BBC that the last player to do it was Mitrovic. Which actually doesn't surprise me at all.

So that’s Robertson suspended for 3 matches? Both Leicester games and Leeds. Not a huge miss.

Edit - depends on postponed matches actually.

Think Spurs will be very disappointed with that, denied a stonewall penalty and Salah's handball for the 2nd but against all odds they managed to sneak away with a point.

Didn't see the match but are Spurs looking any better since Conte came in? Little bit worried about the top 4 race :nervous:

Happy with the result and performance even though we could have been out of sight in that first half. Conte really getting the team working their bollocks off and it's great to see.

Presumably because he had a clear view of the Kane challenge and could assess it in real time, whereas he didn’t have a clear view of Robertson as there was a man in the way.
But he did assess the Kane one wrongly. That’s where VAR won’t intervene but should, when the referee gets it wrong.

Tactics aren't bad but the players are garbage, think over the course of the season they'll drop too many points due to poor squad quality.

I was thinking a draw was all we were getting today. But then with the Kane clear red and clear penalty not given I knew a win would be the biggest miracle this Christmas.

Throw in Alisson's brain fart and I'm a relieved man tonight. Could have been much, much worse.

Edit: not worth discussing Robertson's red. In a game Tierney decided Kane's contact was not enough he was supposed to apply the same to Robbo. But he didn't.

To be fair they also should have had a stonewall red and pen against them, and both were before Liverpool’s which would have led to a different game hypothetically speaking.

Weird but enjoyable game. If Kane had been sent off Liverpool probably would have won. If Liverpools dodgy goal hadn't stood Spurs would have won. Crazy terrible ref decisions, crazy terrible defensive performance from Liverpool, plain terrible finishing from Spurs and Salah's worst game in years. Entertaining as hell, low on quality (understandable given the players Liverpool were missing and Spurs after the break.)

Reminded me of the premier league about 2001.

Ref giveth and taketh, think Kane could have been sent off but their 2nd shouldn't have stood, awful referee performance but can't say I think it was overall biased either side.

Very good performance on the whole though, it's clear Kane's confidence is a bit off with his finishing but at least he's getting the chances unlike under Nuno where it looked like he could play all day and night and not score. Same with Alli where you can see what his energy and movement can bring to the team but was rusty when through on goal. Should have got the three points really but at least we look like a well drilled team again.

If ever stats mislead from how a game went, it's Liverpool 18 shots Tottenham 10!!
