Kane talking about missed chances not mentioning his own ones as being the best chances!
But mentioning the Son one that was miles offside.

A point against Spurs is ok. City got zero. We need to concentrate on our other fixtures and make sure we don't drop any more.

Edit: I don't mind Spurs finishing fourth. Pep, Klopp, Tuchel and Conte in the CL is right.

So to recap this trainwreck of a game: spurs took the lead early on. Kane makes a deranged tackle on robertson that is a textbook red card but gets away with a yellow. Spurs proceed to miss 2 gargantuan chances, then liverpool equalize. Then liverpool are denied a stonewall penalty. Then in the second half, spurs manage to miss two more even more ridiculous chances. Then spurs are denied a clear maybe penalty/maybe free kick at the edge of the box. Then liverpool take the lead off a handball that maybe/probably should have seen the goal taken back. Then Spurs equalize anyways off an Alisson(motm) mistake. Then Robertson who at this point believes he can shiv someone without consequences - the ref had clearly decided this should be a jail rugby game afterall - decides to just try and catch a body, unfortunately for him that was the moment the ref in charge of VAR woke up from his afternoon nap and went "waaaait a second here" and off he went. Then spurs managed to fail at another huge chance

And through it all, a man that was sent to ref a football game without ever having seen, heard, or been involved with the sport of football at any point in his life

That about it?

Surely even someone of Kane's lack of critical thinking, knows he's hit studs on leg rather than studs on the ball?!

If ever stats mislead from how a game went, it's Liverpool 18 shots Tottenham 10!!
Spurs had so many opportunities where they were a pass away and didn’t register an attempt.

Conte definitely got the better of Klopp. Ralf and/or his successor is really going to have to produce to justify passing on Conte.

Of all the things that Neville has said that annoy people nothing grated me quite like him saying one of the very best managers in the world was a “bad fit”. Such nonsense. Spurs already look a different outfit.

Perfect summary of an insane game.

My pool pal disagreed when I saw Tottenham were bossing it for a large period of the first half.

They were 1-0 up and missed 2 or 3 great chances!

Still, a draw suits United brilliantly, and if Pool won it would have been such a huge title boosting result.

True but we need to worry about our own form at the moment before we look around us, win our matches in hand and see where we are.
I really don't understand this logic. We're going to try win our games irrespective of other results. Hoping Spurs drop points isn't going to make our form worse is it?

We are always going to be reliant on other teams dropping more points than us in order to finish above them. The sooner they start dropping points the better.

Whats the point in putting Shay Given as a pundit when anyone who isnt from Northern part of England can’t understand what he is saying

"If both teams disagree with my decisions, it means I've had a good game" - this ref, probably

I don't see how that's not "deliberate" (in the football sense) handball from Salah? His arm is up and in a weird shape, albeit against his body

They all seem to be thinking Alli had a great game, despite missing a critical chance, and bungling at least 1 very easy assist up.

We could have won the title next year with him.

Too bad he is not the yes man our corporate brand are looking for…
He's absolute world class and the only manager who can go toe to toe with Klopp and Pep.
He'll be after players in January as Levy has no doubt promised him funds to get him on board. However, as Levy is a snake, I can see him go back on his word and Conte possibly leave in late Jan/Feb which would be hilarious.

Overall, our board are absolute clowns for passing on him.

I had erased his name from memory. This referee shouldn't be in charge of another EPL for a long, long time.
Frankly i think this guy might be genuinely worse. At least with Kassai, it was clear he fecked himself when he made a conscious decision to not send off Vidal early on and pretty much tried to be consistent with that. Screwed over himself and the game, and it was inexcusable, but still. It was a case of refs not being nearly up for a game of that magnitude and screwing up(him and the linesmen). Also they didn't have VAR to help

This guy thought this was an aussie rules football game. And VAR, i guess they just had napped through most of the game. Honestly it's the only explanation i can come up with

Handball rule changed. VAR can only rule out a goal for handball if the offence is immediately before the goal by the goalscorer/assister.

Well, you pretty much do. There's next to very chance of any injury being caused with this tackle. A light bruise at most. It's a yellow card tackle.
It was very close to knee on knee by the way but that's not even the point.

You can't just kick your opponent with that kind of force and stay on the pitch.

Redknapp claiming Winks as MOTM
He was spraying the ball to Kane and Son who should’ve scored on multiple occasions. His passing was slicing open Liverpool’s defense and was the catalyst to Spurs’ counter attacking play. MOTM by far.

That's only if it's accidental handball.

If it's a handball that would normally be a free kick, then it still can be disallowed - same way any foul would.

He did a lot of the dirty work Kane and Son weren’t up for. Good hold up play, dribbling down the flank, defense against TAA, making incisive runs and passing into space.. pretty much a good game. An absolute mental save from Allison is your reasoning why Alli didn’t have a good game?
