well, most United supporters already knew, mentally, he was a pussy after his antics when he wasn't guaranteed a starting spot here. So, this is not a surprise at all.

There’s something very “cocky NFL wr/rb” - ish about him ala Terrell Owens. He thinks very highly of himself (as he most certainly should) but never seems to play for the team and put in the extra work. The League is so physically demanding, he should be dominant against defenses with his abilities but maybe Italy is his level. Supposedly some Italians have translated the original interview and it is nowhere near as blunt and dramatic as Romano made out. An Italian himself, he appears to have made a huge story out of a very little thing by sensationalizing some quotes, and the interview is best part of a month old. The proper version itself i didnt see anything really wrong with it.... might just be me,
