Started out lively, tried to get involved and be aggressive even though he kept going for shots from a distance.

Then, yeah.

Worst performance for Man Utd? I can't think of a single positive he can take from that match besides not picking up an injury. Truly terrible.

Played in what's supposedly his best position and he was still dire. Really shocking how his form has evaporated.

I think playing transfer-seeking Martial instead of him might not be the worst idea.

Before the loons get in here.

That first half was easily his best performance in months. In previous games he wasn't beating his marker and was giving the ball away constantly. His one on one dribbling was much better tonight and he had his marker on toast. His decision making wasn't the best at times, but he showed more attacking threat than in many games this season.

I thought his move to the right was a good one. Linked up well at times and made some good progressive passes into dangerous areas. He wasn't brilliant and I'd say it was a good half to build upon. Then the second half happened. From minutes 45-70 it was possibily the worst period of play from United I've seen all season. Couldn't build possession beyond three passes and couldn't get the ball to the forwards.

I'm sure there'll be a fume at him for some perceived fault or slight, but he was ok tonight.
Nah you're wrong. He had a bad game.

Thought he was alright at times first half, then just played terribly after that. Looks really sad and the body language is worrying.

That moment where Greenwood shot and Rashford didn’t go after the second ball because he felt Greenwood should have passed it…..was a disgrace.

Bollocks was he OK tonight, waving his arms about when he loses the ball instead of trying to win it back, no effort, nothing. I've been a fan for a long time but tonight was it for me, I'm done.

I think his attitude was the worst I've seen from our players this season. Ambled, unmotivated, indecisive and should lead to him not being in the squad for a few games whilst he and the coaches figure out how to get him firing again.

Add it to his collection of horror games. The sad thing is I'm genuinely surprised if he doesn't feck up.

"Martial...He's isolated Skrtel here..."
He's getting exposed now that his explosiveness is gone. Has nothing to do with his "head not being right". He's a player that relied on elite athleticism/pace that now doesn't possess those traits, and is getting exposed for his laughable decision making and technical ability in tight spaces.

Play Elanga or Martial over him. I'm not kidding, both offer much more currently.

I just dont feel like giving up on Rashford yet as other people have.

If we become a team on form, with us having some players on good form - then I can turn around and start picking out Rashford for not being good enough like the rest of the team are.

Right now the whole team is shit. So I don't feel like picking on Rashford as a player who is crap and should leave the club.
How about now?

You can say the whole team is shit but that moment where, yes Greenwood was characteristically greedy, and the ball came out and Rashford just looked it and didn't even bother to move. If that didn't genuinely infuriate you with his complete lack of giving a shit i don't know what to say to you

Doesn’t look like he wants to be a United player. Under Ole he did well but at the end of Jose there were rumours he wanted out.

Not sure where he goes from here.

Completely irredeemable performances.

At least Greenwood and Bruno have their moments. With Rashford it’s just nothing but shite. He also looks like he’d rather be anywhere else in the world.

It’s been going on for too long and even at his best he was hilariously overrated. Just a bad footballer.

This is what happen when you forget what’s your day job. He should just retire be the ceo of his charity or stand for local elections. Surely will win that than a second ball or header. Even Elanga won more balls that this chap. He was not even jumping for balls. Surely needs more dropping.

PR team posts essay complete with baby pictures, 'love United me' and motivational quotes

Drops an absolute stinker, doesn't try an ounce, looks like he doesn't give a shit.

An extremely Rashford week.

Probably his worst game for United.

I was really optimistic on his returning from surgery, he was flying at the start of last season but overplaying and carrying injuries was seemingly affecting him at the later part.

I don't believe he's finished but he looks to be having some big problems, maybe mentally or perhaps just not fit and alert from the break he had, did he get covid?

I'd get Elanga on for him for while, lets see if Rashford can help himself or get help.

He is shite, and to make it worse he doesn't give a toss either.
Quite happy to collect his money and do feck all for it, he should be dropped from.the squad altogether.

He started off OK and then he went back to how he's been playing for a while. He looks miserable.

Either he's really unfit or it's an attitude problem. Neither are good looks for him.

His confidence is obviously low. He needs a lucky bounce to get him back to form. And one was given to him today and he didn't take advantage of it. So he needs to put in the effort. Follow up everything. Work hard and the bounces will come

His off the pitch activities means pundits won’t analyse how poor he is, and have been for nearly a year. He needs to be dropped and work his way back into the side. He missed two easy passes in the first half which would have meant us being 1v1 with the keeper. And then to not even make an effort to win the rebound is unforgivable. He should have been taken off immediately after that.

Ralf please give Elanga a chance at least he will try.

Its time to be ruthless, its time for United to go past the Rashford Hype, social media drama, we have seen enough.

Its not fair for us the United Supporters.

Thought he had a really good first 15 mins. Touch was good and was taking on players down the wing

Confidence and effort just seemed to fall off a cliff though.

Not going for the ball when it's loose in the box is unacceptable.

Needs a complete reset, Elanga did more right in 2 minutes than he did in the whole game
