What you basing your figures on mate?

I've also seen several different stories of how the deal is split. The 1 thing that the club has said is they won't break their wage structure for any player. Top earner is currently on £35k a week.
His wage is around 230/week (including bonuses), almost certain thing. Gazzetta reports the wages in Serie A once a year and it’s been confirmed many times that their figures were very accurate.

All sources I’ve read say Juventus are going to pay 30% of his salary until the summer.

If Rangers are not breaking the structure, it means he is taking a substantial wage cut or Juventus are covering a larger portion of the salary than rumoured.

Either way if it gets done with a loan fee, Juventus will have to communicate the exact fee they receive for him. Maybe that will give us an indication as to how much of the salary is being paid for by Juventus.

I've read lots of different things, from various percentages, to Rangers just paying a loan fee to Juventus with them covering the wage.

As I say, a spokesperson for Rangers has came out and said they will categorically not break their wage structure for any player. Their main defender Goldson can't agree a new deal which runs out in the summer because Rangers won't break their structure for him, so I believe that to be true.

Rangers not learned any lessons..constantly spending money they do not have in persuit of success.
Not sure that's the case. £20m in profit for the season. There are debts to be paid off from Covid and previous seasons, but the squad has several assets worth over 10m and has driven the league's coefficient up enough to make CL bonanza cash more likely.

In profit? Have a day off. 23m losses report only a few weeks ago

Going bust again chasing the champions league money

And not one player in that team worth anything over 10m. Well except Amad and hes ours.

Celtic made a similar signing in the summer. A guy of the same age with loads of experience at the highest domestic level. He barely plays as it's pretty obvious he's finished. Will be interesting to see if this is similar. Juve and their fans are certainly delighted to get rid of him at any cost.

If he's still got something in the tank and can stay fit then it's a great signing but that's a big if at this moment in time.

Ooh, someone's a bit salty about the transfer window.

Mate one of our subs was sold for 16m a couple of weeks ago.

And those accounts relate to the 2020/21 season - a point I acknowledged in my post.

If you mean McCarthy, Ramsey is miles ahead of him.

He will likely be company for Ryan Jack for 6 months however.

There's no question Ramsey is an exciting addition to the Scottish League, there is a however question of what his wages are now and how much Rangers are paying him.

Keeping Aaron Ramsey fit is going to be a challenge, but he has the quality to contribute in a big way. Playing alongside Diallo and Aribo in particular is quite an exciting prospect for Rangers fans.

There are reports there is no loan fee and we are paying him within our structure, which would be £30k or so.

Remember those results take into account a Covid Year. Also, you must have missed the part in those accounts that say we expect to near enough be at break even for the next accounts, and that's before you take in the millions from the Gerrard compensation and the Patterson sale.

As for no-one in the team being worth £10M or more, I'd argue that Kamara, Kent, Morelos and Aribo would fetch that depending on contract status.

Huge game tonight in Scotland. Can’t help but feel the recent momentum is with Celtic and Rangers would welcome any result that’s not a loss. Looking forward to what surely will be a tasty encounter with a cracking atmosphere.

Celtic by the odd goal in three, for me.

I think Celtic are capable of being shite too.
Neither side look like massive favourites but a Celtic win would be slightly more likely.

Celtic have an interesting Japanese influence now. That Hatete looks a good player. Surprised he hasn’t got a national cap yet

Did anyone watch the Edinburgh derby last night?

Two teams so scared of losing they continuously serve up some of the worst football every time they play each other.

Hoping the derby tonight lives up to expectations.

Enjoying the Old Firm derby

Great atmosphere
Same here. Fun to watch, good football too.

There always should be games like these, classic derbies or top games from selected smaller leagues, like this one or the PSG-Nice cup game the other day, sprinkled on top of annoying international breaks. Usually I just couldn't bother to actually switch on, what with so much other club football to watch, but this is a welcome distraction.

Rangers should be level with that and Celtic go up the other end and score!
