Thanks.

Still torn. I'm only playing 6 Dgw players this week whereas everyone has loads more, maybe for hits.

But i look at some players - Ramsdale over DDG, the former blanks anyway in 27 so no point bringing him in. Wolves is being loaded up on but they have Leicester and Arsenal! Thats not easy to keep clean sheets in, and they dont have a great XG either.

Thinking of being nuts and keeping my team with the - 4 hit, and retaining some quality single gameweek players like Bruno, Bowen, Dalot.
I'm only just digesting these new fixture announcements now, but I think the main reason for Wildcarding this GW would be if your team needs major surgery and/or you are willing to play the Free Hit in 27. Otherwise you can't take full advantage of WC 26 with Liv/Ars blanking. But you should also prepare for upcoming DGWs too if you are WC'ing now (e.g Villa).

Also remember that you cannot TC Salah if you WC.

I have both my Free Hits intact, and my team is a mess, so personally I'm going for it.

I assessed it and I'm doing similar to you.
Cancelo, Bowen, Digne and Ronaldo all with good chances of hauls and 7 doublers.
Hoping for the best from Weigy.

Wouldn't be much point doing a -4 for one of those 4 I mention as they might double digit anyway, meaning the replacement has to really haul.

Thanks for the inputs.

Yeah I've fallen way behind in part because I've kept both free hits and one WC. I look at some of the DGW guys and just feel theres not a lot of guaranteed points.

Arsenal is the standout one but I just have a feeling they'll concede to Brentford today. Wolves will more than likely concede in one of the games and so I just feel single game hauls from DDG and Dalot are better. Leeds are shite and I think we'll keep them at bay.

Ok just one more query guys

Who would you bench out of Dalot (Leeds) vs Cancelo (Tottenham)?

If you can afford him then cancelo because he’s a long term asset and will surely save you a transfer in the future
Theyre both in my team, just deciding who to bench.

I decided to play Cancelo anyway because I have DDG in goal, thought to spread the risk.!

Thinking up of my next genius thread
I decided to go against the wc Trend and TC salah and keep Bruno while taking a -8 for Saka, Salah, Robertson who are dgw players and bring in Ramsey for funds/future gw's. Wondering now if I should have gone with Kilman and Coutinho instead of Robertson and Ramsey.

Went down to the wire and chose the bench boost over triple captain. Going to be a nervous couple of hours at 3.00pm.

The thing that makes me nervous about the Salah route, versus FH/BB is that it's all on 1 player. The wider set of players with 2 games is surely "safer."

However, let's see how we turn out.

Yes, but we have another bench boost to go for 36 in the biggest double.

Interesting quite a lot of good players seem to have wildcarded.

My mate, who clearly needs to do something different at this point, as captained Firminho and not transferred in Salah. It could actually be a good shout it Jota is out for both games.

Hope so, as I'm a little nervous looking at some of the 10 teams either above me or just below.

Although a fair few have taken -8.

Best placed team is probably the guy top of the league with a BB and 12 doublers. Only obvious mistake he's made is Gallagher in, when he's only a singler this week with Chelsea being his loaned from club.
Worst placed took a -8 and has only 3 doublers with Jota out.

The one I'm annoyed has got away with it a bit was the guy who went in with VD, Jota and Tsimikas. Jota getting injured has given him a get out -4 to Salah.
Although he's not triple captained him, which was his only remaining chip.

Behind the right goal post as "Whiteside shoots!"
There's always a possibility that Salah gets a low score but that's a risk with every player in every week.

All you can do when looking at TC is gauge the players ability, his number of games and opponents. That's why so many players have TCed Salah, the odds say this is the right week.

If it doesn't get as many points as players hope for, the silver lining is so many other players are in the exact same boat so you don't lose anything against 70+% of players.

Don't do it and he scores, you could lose a lot of points to a lot of players.

Watch him blank now :)

Possibly a mistake though CP have a great run of fixtures on paper.

I ummed and aahed for ages about taking minuses last night to get more dgw players but in the end couldn't justify the -4 against this week (even with an extra game) and the impact g/fwd.

All good players, I can already put out 12 next week so can save tfrs for two weeks then consider Chelski.

Fingers crossed

Yep, while the -4 could easily pay off, i was more concerned at taking out a single gamer with a good fixture, them hauling, and the new player doing jack. That'd be by far the more annoying thing than just leaving it.

Bowen could do with doing something now though, as many will have risked binning him for a doubler.

Yep, the whole game is about managing risk. There will be the odd fail, but if you don't cover the base and they get a 30 pointer you're screwed.

I don't know. Him v Norwich has a tinge of Suarez v Norwich.

Would be a scary watch without him treble cap.
I am a bit nervous about it. Even though he is still my captain, I am hoping he is rested for one of the games.

If he is not, it could be a mega haul.

I have free hitted in the end and brought Firmino in. Potentially 24 appearances to make up any potential haul and better the difference.

He will get a hat trick today now.
