I'd make them play behind closed doors for the rest of the season after that behaviour. If you wanna stamp that shit out, that's the way to do it

My sisters other half is a Leeds fan. They haven't got a good word to say about any other team, full of hatred. Hope they go down.

They're not dirty. If you think Leeds are dirty then please check your eyeliner because it's probably running.

They're fans are helmets. Always have been, always will be.
6 yellow cards and could have been a couple more but carry on coming out with nonsense.

Their fans really covered themselves in glory today.

Elangas celebration must have driven them insane altogether

So a yellow translates to dirty play. Stopping a counter warrants a yellow card, do you find that dirty?

Mctominay should've seen red today. You're the one talking out of your arse. You sound like a cockney, an Arsenal fan. Yuck.

McTominay shouldn't have seen a red today. He was cutting it close but nothing he did after his yellow warranted another one.
Stop believing the commentator's narrative and watch the game.
They obviously see players rolling round the ground and blatantly believe they’re hurt. They were clearly at it trying to play into the refs performance and get him red carded.

Their fans are horrible. Just a big old swell of hatred and bitterness. Hope bielsa’s style relegates them and he leaves in the summer along with Phillips and Raphinha.

It was the coin throwing, and the throwing of objects in general, I was referring to. If they're serious about eliminating that out of the game, then some serious measures have to be brought in.

Every one of them is an extra from deliverence. That stadium on match day must contain the highest concentration of married cousins in any place outside Alabama.

Most enjoyable game in ages.

Atmosphere sounded great, football is better when there's raw hatred. Occasionally, some idiots cross the line but it's so much with them in the Premier League.

Only reason I don't want them relegated is the hostile rivalry, however both sets of fans have bad apples when it comes to chanting.

Oh I watched the game - and he made 3 fouls after the yellow, including one where he stamped on a Leeds-player. I am not saying any of those fouls were solid yellow, but the accumulation of all his tackles warranted at least 2 yellows. Luckily the ref let the game flow and allowed a bit more than usual - which unfortunately gave Leeds their second goal, but it was still nice to see a bit of fire in the game.

Talk of McTominay being sent off, ... not in this match; did these people never see Norman Hunter and Billy Bremner in these sort of games, at Elland Road they got away with what one commentator at the time referred to as .."almost a criminal assault".
Another match and a few players (both sides) including McT would have seen red, but this was the war of the roses all over again! No prisoners taken (not by Scott), no quarter asked or given, the raining pelting down, fans crying for blood (as well as goals).... and the red rose winning, once again. Referee being treated afterwards for trauma/shock.
Maybe Rangers and Celtic could match it in ferocity, but can't think of many other games that come close.
'deja vu...' all over again!:)

Think people play up the Leeds rivalry tbh. You see posts like "I want Leeds, Liverpool and city to go down"

Utter tosh. Would make a season incredibly boring. That was an entertaining game against rivals that we won. Give me that over struggling to beat the likes of Brighton and Burnley every day of the week.

Everyone in Bradford hates Leeds.
As a Bradford resident I'm keen to understand what you mean here. Football, or hatred towards the other city?

Football wise, the locals have a stronger rivalry with Huddersfield I'd say.

Otherwise it's just bitterness rather than hate - Bradford has long been underfunded and descended into a shithole, whilst central Leeds is this hub of the North which you're forced into going to to have any social enjoyment in life or a job with prospects.

No, but there is a canal going from Leeds to Liverpool (longest in Britain I think)... could mean ...something!!! :)
Indeed there is. It takes an incredibly circuitous route; ostensibly to avoid the nasty hilly bits that obstruct the direct route, but more likely because people travelling along it wanted to delay their arrival at either end point for as long as possible…

After our 1st goal it was visible how many coins and other stuff were thrown. How come FA isnt doing anything about it cause as I read and heard Elland road is notorious for that kind of thing. Does FA has a punishment of one stand being empty for a few games and the sort?
Saying that atmosphere was really electric, proper derby, you could feel it through the screen how tense it was. Must have been great being in away end. :)

Football.

I’m in Bradford every Monday and Tuesday afternoon/evening during term time, singing in the Cathedral choir. The choir pub happens to be a pre-match City fan favourite and I’ve had a lot of friendly banter with them. Hudds is certainly a more “active” rivalry but they really can’t stand Leeds.

Bradford’s decline is tragic. It doesn’t help that its location amid a load of hills, which was a key driver of its early industrial economy, is such a barrier these days where easy accessibility is everything.

Their fan base are thick. My sisters other half supports them and some of the comments he posted on Facebook were laughable, apparently we paid the ref off and all that guff. No mention of the fact they're dogshit.
