Worst game in a United shirt for Bruno
True. I guess he is technically a CM for us but he’s often just sat alone so we call him a DMTo be fair he's coerced into playing DM when the other guy thinks he's either an AM or on the bench.
Like against Leeds?Rangnick is just another coward manager. Too afraid to make changes when he needs to.
I hope that it's not Paul Scholes that you are talking about because he didn't do it all, he had defensively savvy midfielders next to him and even then he was often benched for more steel.I agree with Schloesy, midfielders should do it all. All this CDM nonsense needs to be put to bed. It rewards mediocrity and by god are we mediocre in midfield.
It's unbelievable how uncomfortable we look when we have the ball, like we seriously are afraid of it. It's mindblowing. Other teams must look at us and feel utterly bemused by our lack of confidence and care with the ball.Their ball retention is just levels ahead of us. So is Brighton’s tbf.
If you can't see progress I don't know what to say.Exactly, we're no better.
He brought the pressure upon himself. The player was coming in from one way. He just needs to make his first touch into the space that the player isn't at. Touch it 3 feet in front of him and there's no danger. He tried to control it to his feet and that brought in the pressure. Not every ball will be perfect, but as a midfielder this is a basic skill. You need to know where your markers are and where to make your first touch to. There's a time to control it and a time to touch into space. This was not the time to control it...It was a poor touch, but that was not a good ball. Fizzed it in the air to him while under pressure.
