Perhaps not you personally but in regards to a lot of the criticism in general you can't make that claim going off the last few pages of this thread. The reason he is being criticised is nothing to do with feeding kids and "all lives matter vibes" as some have suggested.
Cheaper to keep under performing players than sign new ones I guess. It'll never change while the Glazers own the clubTweet

Guess he's going to get what he wants, a fat new paycheck for his absolutely disgraceful performances, nothing new from this club
Next is probably Jlingz.Cheaper to keep under performing players than sign new ones I guess. It'll never change while the Glazers own the club
I agree, its called 'running into a brick wall', its what happens when your life moves faster then you anticipate and at the same time the thing your good at stops working.Marcus would be wise to take some time off from everything — football, politics and business pursuits — and come back to training mentally and physically refreshed. He looks a broken man, which at his age is absurd.
This culture of rewarding players who don’t deserve it is one of our biggest problems. Breeds players who aren’t interested in winning at all, this is a large part of the reason why barely anyone in our squad seems motivated by glory.Guess he's going to get what he wants, a fat new paycheck for his absolutely disgraceful performances, nothing new from this club
Motivated by anything. This culture of rewarding players who don’t deserve it is one of our biggest problems. Breeds players who aren’t interested in winning at all, this is a large part of the reason why barely anyone in our squad seems motivated by glory.
Yeah, seeing more of Rashford the saviour sulking around OT and Luke 'one good season out of 8 but I want love' Shaw is really going to get my excitement levels up for next season.Tweet

So rangnick wasn't backed because the board didn't want to impose players on the new permanent manager but they will still handout bumper contracts to lazy fecks without consulting the said permanent manager or delaying the contract negotiations by a couple of months until the said permanent manager is here ?Tweet

Cant expect this club to do a single right thing. Keep rewarding mediocrity. Why would anyone put 100% effort when you can get renewals by putting in absolute dogshit performances week in week out?Tweet

Imagine a new coach coming in and threatening to boot players out of the club. Every player will be laughing their faces off. They know that the club decides their futures, not the coach.
Maybe that's the way it should be? At a lot of clubs you have a Sporting Director or a President that decides the philosophy of the club and fits the pieces inside that. However, the worry is the guys doing it at our club? Do we think Richard Arnold has as clear an idea of how the club needs to go as say Laporta at Barca..?
Well said, both you and @Bebestation . It can get so depressing to read so much vitriol and hate.Very much agree with the bolded. I can’t speak for other clubs but the way this fanbase talk with such vitriol about players makes me wonder why many bother. It’s at a point where certain players failures off the pitch are celebrated more than anything done on it.
fecking hell. These guys used to get rewarded for mediocrity. Now they're getting rewarded for downright failure.Tweet

where were you guys when Fellaini and others faced much more than what they are saying about Rashford?Well said, both you and @Bebestation . It can get so depressing to read so much vitriol and hate.
Hes been utterly dreadful for way longer than just this season. He has turned into Jesse Lingard without the running around bit.like i said before he's having a poor season he just has to play his way back into form. there's no other way
work on his fitness, clear his head, make those opportunties count.
I agree. I do feel it’s not what we are exposed to here which are online trolls though.Very much agree with the bolded. What a bizarre strawman. I personally don't remember Fellaini baselessly being compared to someone who has sexual assault/rape charges against him.where were you guys when Fellaini and others faced much more than what they are saying about Rashford?
didn't know Rashford is being compared to Greenwood who has these charges against him? What a bizarre strawman. I personally don't remember Fellaini baselessly being compared to someone who has sexual assault/rape charges against him.
I think Rooney and Ronaldo were pretty close as wellAny opinion of Rashford behind closed doors likely came from Carrick before he left, think he and Rooney were really close in their playing days.
Agreed. Both Bruno and Rashford with the extensions have plenty of time remaining. Things can be sorted out in the summer re: new contracts. If true, this is a ridiculous decision to extend Rashford's contract right now.
When has this club not done anything stupid since Fergie left?If true, this is a ridiculous decision to extend Rashford's contract right now.
In this very thread, unfortunately.didn't know Rashford is being compared to Greenwood who has these charges against him?
Him being my namesake makes it difficult for me to say this. But if he does not start really focusing on his day job, I really don't want to see him at the club. He cannot say that his other activities have no effect until he actually gives them up for us and him to judge. Can't believe the hate Rashford is getting on here. I firmly believe there is a good player in him and we've all seen glimpses of it. We've been horrendously managed thus far and it is no surprise most of our players are underperforming.
Whilst a long term contract for Rashford is pure silliness, he should be given a chance next season under new management.
Fair assessment. Does he still have active ambassadorial duties outside of football? If he does, then it is most certainly a distraction at this stage of his career and season.Him being my namesake makes it difficult for me to say this. But if he does not start really focusing on his day job, I really don't want to see him at the club. He cannot say that his other activities have no effect until he actually gives them up for us and him to judge.
Shhh. They only defended the British core. You could see they trashed other players like Martial, Pogba, etc all the time. Hypocrisy at its best.where were you guys when Fellaini and others faced much more than what they are saying about Rashford?
There is another way.like i said before he's having a poor season he just has to play his way back into form. there's no other way

This summer?There is another way.
Get rid of him
One could hazard a guess and argue that his debut came at a time when everybody in and around the club was desperately looking for a new hero. We had already gone through the Moyes debacle and it was starting to look that LvG would not be able to elevate the team to its previous heights. Rashford came on on that February Thursday night and he was a breath of fresh air, something to lift the hopes of a disheartened fanbase. It’s concerning not only how some fans didn’t (and evidently still don’t) see it but how nobody at the club saw the decline coming a mile off. He’s a really poor footballer - or least his football has been of an appalling standard - and has been for 14/18 months and yet until very, very recently he’d start any game he’d want to.
Why were they do slow to see what was obvious?
Well this is an British Club so maybe go support another club in another country if you cant stand the British core so much. PSG?Shhh. They only defended the British core. You could see they trashed other players like Martial, Pogba, etc all the time. Hypocrisy at its best.
