Gold on each the 11 sectors of Nurburgring but now the full lap to do... really dont want to. But just one little lap for 6 million credits.

 The lap of your life.

I finished both of the Croatian Dragon circuit experiences. Was starting to think the first one was impossible to gold using a controller but 3 hours later i managed it.

The endurance races are weird. The top two cars are miles ahead of you but when you get into 3rd they suddenly become really slow. They’ve fecked the AI in them.

I tried two of them and quit both after ten minutes. Not used to being docked time after every minor mistake I make so between that and us all being in the same car and me starting 40 seconds behind the leader I soon got frustrated at the huge gap opening up and quit.
Tried a different one where you can use any car around 600pp and was almost getting lapped after around ten minutes by some electric powered Porsche that was so much faster than everyone else. Unless he had stopped for half hour to charge his battery I couldn’t see me ever catching him.

The endurance missions definitely need a guide/trial and error to get right. I think I’ve completed 4 of them now but that’s with several retries.

The endurance races are easier on normal difficulty than easy.

I've done four of them and all you really need to do is get the pits right. On the first one for instance dont bother with inters. Only use racing mediums and wets for when the track moisture goes above 25%. The AI will feck up by always going slicks>inters>wets>inters>slicks.

i forgot about this too. Apparently it’s a bug where normal/hard can be easier than easy difficulty.

Ok so I thought rolling starts were bad but this mission with you starting on the grid and sitting there for 60 seconds while everyone else goes is way worse.

AI is winding me up now. Hopefully there is a big update in the future that improves them. I’m all for aggressive AI but not when they don’t get penalties for booting you off the track or if they’re being blue flagged but don’t make any attempt to get out of the way but try to race you instead. Feck off.

Is the Logitech g29 any good? Only £180 at Currys.

What other wheels are better and not at a ridiculous price point? Anything this wheel would lack in?

Just finished the cafe and it ends it a bit prematurely for my liking. Just as it was starting to get competitive. Where are the gr2 and gr1 races? What’s the point in all these car groups if there aren’t specific races and championships for them? Even the gr.b races are seriously lacking. Or races specifically for classic cars? In the older gt there would even be brand specific races like you go into the Mitsubishi page and there were Evo races or Mini Cooper ones? I’ve got plenty of missions and circuit experiences but they’re not particularly exciting, so after those am I just supposed to repeat these same low paying races over and over until I can afford some overly priced cars and that’s it? It’s gone from wow to meh in the space of a few days.

Reckon there will be a lot of DLC. They'll gauge the community reaction to what works best and then fill accordingly I hope.

The game is meant to be a "live service" - what ever the feck that means.

But essentially, the "base" game we have received is just that and progressively over time they'll update the game with new series etc. Alot more mission event series (did the same with GT Sport).

I also hope there's more cafe missions as the number they stopped at is kinda weird and doesnt particularly make any sense.

The real interesting part is whether they make us pay for DLC or give it us a free like GT Sport.

If its free, great, but if im getting asked to pay for shit like modern silvertsone (sorry english fans but I fecking hate this track), some of them are no bueno from me.

I would love a couple of original circuits back like Midfield Raceway, Autumn Ring, Apricot Hill or Grand Valley Speedway.

golded all endurances. The last one is very hard.
Golded all the Tokyo tracks in circuit experience. So hard because any Touch Of the walls and you’re done.

I must say, I loved Tokyo Route 246 and special stage 5 and 11, but these routes are fecking trash. I don’t know if it’s to appease JDM street racing fans, but give me a mountain climb track before this shit.

Omg

787B is only 1.8 million
RC Nissan is 2.6
Blanked out silk cut jag (don’t ask me the numbering) is 2.0

I’d be jumping in on these before the come back 3x the price in 5 weeks.
What's so special about the cars? I love this game but i really no feck all about cars. Ive saved up 7mill credits from not spending anything on cars so far, seeing though Ive concentrated on the licences, missions and now circuit experiences. Was gonna save up to 20mill and get one of obscene Legendary cars.

Doing them currently. 3/6, found the BMW track the hardest. Agree though in terms of tracks. Can’t wait until they add more.

Yeh that final endurance is no joke. Won it by 0.5s with no fuel left.

What car did you use? I saw BMW Endurance was the best but found the Renault did it for me. Found a strat online to pit at lap 10, refuel to 90% and pit at lap 20, refuel to 70% and I won by 2 seconds.

I used the Peugeot RCZ, did a 1 stop race on hards. Was lapping 1-2s behind the AIs on mediums so it just about worked out.

Tried it with the McLaren on mediums first go and gave up, I seem to chew up tyres way faster than expected.

I wish they did a companion app for this game, showing statistics and driver profiles etc. I downloaded one assuming it was for the new GT7 but disappointingly it was only for the sport version.

Oops, I actually meant I used the Peugeot too! But did a two stop medium. Really tough though. You basically need to do 1:58/1:59 every single lap.

How? I have 2.6 mil and spent nothing
This is the only game I’ve been playing since it came out. I’ve completed most of the stuff in game. Got gold in all races and licences. Gold in all missions apart from the drift ones (need to go back and redo), gold in around 70% of the circuit experiences. I’ve been playing religiously.:nervous:

Some of the circuit experiences are absolutely bonkers hard, even when you do all the sectors the full lap then seems impossible. I’m absolutely dreading the Nurburgring one, and that fishermans dirt one you mention will be a right twat.

I’m working my way through missions at the moment, just got past the pass one on Moby Dick where you’re in the Nissan GTR race car at Fuji, that was tricky.
