If the referee does his job that game ends up a lot closer than it did.

Blatant yellow for Robertson in first half. If that’s given he can’t tackle from behind like he does for the third goal.

Stone wall red for Keita, I don’t understand how he didn’t give it

That being said woeful from us.Wouldn’t be arsed if Rashford never played for us again. Two brilliant chances and he looks half arsed on both of them, Hannibal sprinted more in 10 minutes than Rashford did all game. He’s stealing a living at the moment
Did you watch the game at all??????? On what kind of drugs you are?????????

Behind the right goal post as "Whiteside shoots!"
I actually think some of the players may be improved by having a strong coach with a clear style of playing … Martial for example (as much as I moan about his shit lazy mentality).

But players like Maguire have to go… he’s a poor player and a worse captain and the club needs to bite the bullet and write off whatever we have to. Ten Hag can coach plenty but he can’t coach speed (movement or mind).

One of our problems will be we have so many players leaving or should leave, I don’t think it can be done in one season unless the club has 5 targets all lined up and completed by June (no chance) and we’re promoting/bringing back off loan another 3 or 4. This is a season to clear out, a season to coach the revised squad and THEN start to think about challenging. Will need a strong board and a ton of patience.

The amount of outs and ins this squad needs is really shocking considering Ole spent 400 mil.

Can't be bother to watch, it is just a matter of how many. Utd nowadays is unwatchable against anyone. There is still some good feeling when we beat a low level club. No matter who we face, these players makes it hard for themselves. Either drawing a game or letting opponents come back just like Spurs or Norwich. RR hasn't improve a single things, he is basically there to name the XI. Can I be paid to do the same thing at 10% of his salary? Utd can't do anything right from hiring and firing of coaches, scouting, buying players and including naming the right captain. At least we are at the lowest point, things can't only get better.

This season is a new low. Scousers in the running for a quadruple playing football we can only dream of, City and Chelsea in the running for a double. At least it’s only upwards from here lads.

I feel like Mark Corrigan in the back seat of the Limousine in the Season 6 finale of Peep Show. Gutted, lonely, wearing a hat stinking of vomit and with only a friend reeking of piss next to me consoling me in the place of my runaway bride. It’s strangely liberating.

If players can't get themselves up for a Liverpool game, then what's the point?
They're not playing for the shirt though, they are mostly playing for money. They probably couldn't care less about United once they leave, which they all probably will soon, except a few

I’m done until the new manager is in and half the players (more hopefully) are gone, the lack of effort is unforgivable, sickening

All our horrendous mistakes on all levels (coaching, scouting, etc) during the last 10 years condensed into 90 minutes.

Followed United since 96 and have either been at the game, watched on TV, listened on the radio or at the very least Followed some live text updates, give or take the odd blemish.

I won't be taking up any of the aforementioned options for the remainder of the season.

The 'players' have no integrity or professional pride, the 'manager' has checked out and the club is completely rudderless from top to bottom.

I'm all for sticking with your team through thick and thin but this is not my team. Its completely unrecognisable from any United team I've seen step over that white line..

For a CB Maguire is completely disastrous at positioning. Its like he's on a piss all the time.

This prick as well... You'd think being paid millions is enough motivation. I mean for crying out loud, if rumours are to to be believed, he's in line for over a £2m pay-cut to his newly inflated salary and he was a ghost.

He's quickly becoming a disaster despite his early good form for us and saving OGS's skin (which might turn out to be a disaster in the long term).

I'm sure this was taken out of context. But in any case they should just shut up.

They made 2 fouls in the 1st half.

Two.

Against bitter rivals. At Anfield.

2 fekin fouls.
To be fair, hard to make a foul, when you can barely get in the vicinity of the ball. Without being sent off, of course.

It's the supporters who need to look at themselves. Crap support for years at Old Trafford and constant bitching about the owners has got us here. What a horrible place to work.

I blame the above poster the most.

same every week, imagine showing up for a Derby game and producing that performance, not once in a season but TWICE. these players ain't just playing for there futures at this club, they are generally playing for there future in football. imagine your honestly having a look at one of these players for next season, watch that you must think absolute no chance i am going near them. these are habits that this lot has been in for years now. there ain't a single player i would keep now.

In some ways I think the supporters are not helping.

There is this belief that you should blindly support the team through thick and thin but ONLY if the players are putting the effort in.
I mean this is the nicest possible way, away support another team.

It's grim times, but you surely can't be a serious fan if you doubting your loyality.

We don't deserve to win everything just because we are united.

If other club fans had the same mentality, their be basically no other clubs existing as outside a couple clubs who get the success
In a way he has a point though.

I think we are all loyal to United but not blindly loyal. There has to be some give and take. If we're not winning matches then let's either be entertained or see our players work their socks off.

There's no effort and the crowd at OT have been remarkably patient and supportive so far which is maybe giving our players a distorted sense of reality (listen to Fernandes' and Maguire's recent interviews)

Yep-that is my concern for Ten Hag when he comes here.

Nearly all of our players have this shitness embedded in them now that I don't think a new manager can coach it out of them.

hopefully no europe next season, we keep maybe 6/7 out the current squad, sign 6/7 in the summer, promote 6/7 from youth teams, returns from loans etc and get rid of the rest, if we dont then just write off next season and the foreseeable

This is the whole quote

Man Utd midfielder Bruno Fernandes, speaking to Sky Sports: "The fans don't deserve us to play this way. They deserve more from us. The way they stay and applaud us, they deserve more. We have to raise our level higher. It is what it is.

"I think everyone runs. I think there is effort from everyone. I don't think someone does not give 100%. We have to do it for ourselves, the clubs, the fans and everyone.

"We have to say things but that is kept in the dressing room. Now it is over we have to think of the next game.

"Liverpool is ready for the title. We are not. I don't need to be here saying about the difference of the level. We have to look at ourselves, from top to bottom and understand what is going wrong. We are competing until the end. Nobody can put down and think it is over. We have something to fight for."

Expected to get battered and we did, had a spell after the half time change but just a spell!
no fight till Hannibal came on and stuck the boot in!
I’m lost for words to describe the anger on how we have fallen
just hoping that someone can take points off them as the thought of them winning 4 is soul destroying!

Meanwhile I feel like Jez sleeping in the corner of big mad Andys miserable flat. Sad orange streetlight filtering in through the old net curtains, the sound of Andy slurping special brew into the early hours, and only the cold embrace of a loose black bag as comfort.

Hopeless.

Martial is a prime example of Utd's failures. Very talented, no desire to push himself to the extra level. Instead of making excuses for him for years because of his talent he should have been moved on, that lack of application can not be carried unless the production is vastly more than what he gave.

Utd ended up surrounding him with similar mentalities, Pogba, Lingard, Rashford, Shaw while also stocking up on players behind them with no leadership qualities in the likes of De Gea, Lindelof, AWB, Maguire. At a club with the right culture the players push each other higher, at Utd this group drag each other down.

It needs root and branch evisceration.
