Not finishing in the top 4 (even top 3) is all on Rangnick. No two ways about it. I hope he leaves in the summer, I don’t care what he has to offer as a consultant. Arsenal and Tottenham are seriously average.
I struggle to see why this thread is being bumped. I'm not sure Ralf told Bruno to miss a penalty and be crap today. The goals we've conceded today I don't put on the manager. The goals we should've scored I don't put on him either.
As a manager he is crap but he has done a lot of good. He has shown what these players really are. His subs are very bad. He is supposed to be trying to get players play in different positions but he has not done that at all. The two slowest players we have are in midfield. There is no way we can out pass Arsenal yet he got Matic and McTominay in midfield. He should have put Bailly in there like SAF playing Phil Neville in midfield. At least he is quick and can tackle and can dribble.
Worst manager we've had post Fergie. He's been dreadful.

What's the point he always speak often to the media that rebuild is a must but keep sending Lingard, Mata, (Matic) as substitution? None of them will be here in the next season. He can start few process of rebuild now but he choose not to do. It's very shameful.

Ralf is an incompetent manager. I don't know how you can be a manager and don't understand the emotional intelligence side of football. I am quite sure the majority of our squad don't respect him considering he uses every chance he has to blast the team. He reminds me a lot of mourinho in that regard. He is not cut out to be a manager. Maybe consulting does suit him better. I don't agree with a lot of things he says though as well.

No effort was ever put in to implement a playing style or footballing structire. We've seen a lot of young academy graduates and signings fail to develop on their initial promise because of this. Billions have been spent on players who didn't complement each other and couldn't play effectively together.

I'm one of Rangnick's biggest critics on here and think he's done a terrible job but today's performance was actually just about acceptable, we've been very unlucky.
I agree with this. Elanga influence has completely disappeared but because he has one or two good games at the start of his run ten it’s ok to keep playing him but any other youngster doesn’t get that chance because they don’t have a few games of credit in the bank?

It’s you that’s clueless if you thought he was going to come in and save the season. Has he performed worse than many including me expected? Yes, but for me that just symbolises how deep the problems are and hiring Conte would solve none of them. We aren’t catching up to City and Liverpool without doing something radical and that included bringing in a big picture guy. I’m sorry that you can’t see it.
