Actually Nostradamus
A clean cut and get on with the rebuild.
Calm down it's a joke... What is your answer for both will he or should he?Well the question is will he be here. Not do you want him here. So I’m curious why you seem confident you can second guess my predictions?
‘I will not finish playing Europa League’perhaps he is going then? wonder what he said
Dunno for both. For the same reason. All depends on how willing he is to accept a situation where he’s in and out of the team and not guaranteed to start whenever he wants.Calm down it's a joke... What is your answer for both will he or should he?
Agree he shouldn’t be our first choice striker next season but I don’t think we can really justify 700k a week or whatever he’s one for a rotation option. He either starts every game, which he shouldn’t, or he needs to be binned.Dunno for both. For the same reason. All depends on how willing he is to accept a situation where he’s in and out of the team and not guaranteed to start whenever he wants.
I definitely don’t think he should be our first choice number 9 next season. That would be a terrible idea.
This is what some of his fans don't seem to understand: most United fans would be fine with this (I can't back it up with stats, but I'm pretty sure it's true). If Ronaldo is prepared to sit out and share game-time with another CF then I'd say let's keep him for another season.
I want him to stay, the mans a machine and has literally carried for at points this season.... If ETH want's him I think they can work something out. Ronaldo would love to be the returning player that helped to get us back on our feet.Dunno for both. For the same reason. All depends on how willing he is to accept a situation where he’s in and out of the team and not guaranteed to start whenever he wants.
I definitely don’t think he should be our first choice number 9 next season. That would be a terrible idea.
Exactly, why let go of a guy who literally has built a career if winning at all costs and nothing less. His reaction to Rooney in 2006 showed us early signs of his winning mentality.Rashford, Greenwood, Martial, and of course Cavani, are all gone imo. Therefore having Ronaldo here would not only be a good idea, it would be essential for ETH, who could then focus on buying a proper striker to gradually work into the fold.
Sounds like Ronaldo (sort of) agrees.Dunno for both. For the same reason. All depends on how willing he is to accept a situation where he’s in and out of the team and not guaranteed to start whenever he wants.
I definitely don’t think he should be our first choice number 9 next season. That would be a terrible idea.

If you look at it who has consistently performed over all the games we have played its De Gea, if you want to choose over the last 2 months and probably his 1st 2 or so months you would say Ronaldo mainly down to the CL games he played during that period rather than the league. He's been our best player this year. Do you disagree ?
So you think our keeper has been our best player in a season in which we've conceded 52 goals ?If you look at it who has consistently performed over all the games we have played its De Gea, if you want to choose over the last 2 months and probably his 1st 2 or so months you would say Ronaldo mainly down to the CL games he played during that period rather than the league.
Prior to recent games from 12/03/22 (Spurs) he scored 9 goals in 23 games and went 8 PL games against mostly the weakest teams in the league with 1 open play goal and as i said he has done well in recent weeks but that shouldnt discount what happened prior to this further as i said if he could accept a lesser role in the team he'd benefit the team 100% but his own actions over the year have near proved he doesnt want that.
If he was in even 1/2 the form he was in now we could have been in the CL positions still, turn some of the draws against Newcastle, Watford, Burnley and Southampton into wins and we wouldnt have been knocked out the FA cup by Middlesbrough and thats not just on him but he is our primary goalscorer who near demands to play week in week out so when he doesnt score it begs the question to be asked in my opinion, mostly i think the form he shown in recent weeks is due to reduced game schedule and if he near demands to play every week we will see some of those same performances over the winter period again next year.
Have you seen our defence? So you think our keeper has been our best player in a season in which we've conceded 52 goals ?
He has faced the most shots in the league you want to blame him for all the goals and not the team.So you think our keeper has been our best player in a season in which we've conceded 52 goals ?
Strange way to look at it given goals conceded is reflective of collective rather than individual performance. It tells you nothing about how De Gea has performed within that collective. So you think our keeper has been our best player in a season in which we've conceded 52 goals ?
I don't have a rebuttal. All I need to know is that he's been our most effective player by a country mile. His numbers this year are pretty much identical to his first year at Juve, so it would mindbendingly counterproductive to take the position that he should leave. He has faced the most shots in the league you want to blame him for all the goals and not the team.
Also no rebuttal on my other points actually about Ronaldo
I don't think De Gea has been our best player, especially not in a year when we've shipped over 50 goals. He's been better of late compared with the past couple of years, but that's quite different from being our best player. We are a team in transition and need to hang on to our main attacking threat for next year given that we know several other strikers are already leaving.Strange way to look at it given goals conceded is reflective of collective rather than individual performance. It tells you nothing about how De Gea has performed within that collective.
I mean we've also scored the fewest amount of league goals in about five years, do we use that as a stick to beat Ronaldo with as he's our main goalscorer?
Ffs, so we reckon he's off then?
Noooooooooooo
If the new manager wants to press its everyone or there is no point, there is no such thing as a bit of pressing you need all 10 outfield playersYou are looking at what he is doing in this United team. With a fully functional team he may not be needed to do all that running he is trying to do now.
A 4-4-2 like the one Zidane utilised in his final 2 seasons at Madrid (which was a 4-4-2 diamond). That got the maximum out of the post 30 year old version of him.Think his best(and probably only perfect) position currently is in a 4 4 2 alongside a classic CF.
That’s weird. Surely he doesn’t think he should be getting up and down the wing at his age?! Can’t think of any other position he could play other than as a number 9.Sounds like Ronaldo (sort of) agrees.

Wonder where Ronaldo thinks he should be fitting in.
Think he's best in almost a free role, with a central striker up top. That’s weird. Surely he doesn’t think he should be getting up and down the wing at his age?! Can’t think of any other position he could play other than as a number 9.
Yeah, I mean....I don't think he'd feel the need to clarify this otherwise to be honest.Ffs, so we reckon he's off then?
urghhh do you think? His instagram post last night doesnt suggest he’s going anywhere but as you say, strange to clarify that specifically. I wonder what he did say.Yeah, I mean....I don't think he'd feel the need to clarify this otherwise to be honest.
This.I think he should go.
People have rose glasses on by the way he has played the last 2 months or so forgetting the largely nothing performances he was putting in prior to this purple patch against some of the poorest teams in the league and yes the team was struggling then but its struggling now too and he is performing so whats changed, probably the lack of 3 games every 7 days has helped this and yes maybe he could perform at a higher level for longer if he accepts a lesser role of not being a starter every week or coming off to preserve himself for the better of the team but we have seen how he reacts to this still at 37 so thats not going to change any.
I also think it will benefit the new manager to have 500k PW off of the wage bill along with the other players who are out of contract this will likely help us to rebuild in a more holistic way
I have seen the start of the press that Johan Neeskens started at Ajax and the refinement of it there. The press is very organised and each player has a box or area they press. Not a lot of running but it's mostly cutting off the space. Look at Haller. He doesn't do that much of running either. If the new manager wants to press its everyone or there is no point, there is no such thing as a bit of pressing you need all 10 outfield players
Ah I mean I havent a clue to be honest, but....clarifying that....just seems a little bit off to me. I think he said "come on, finish" to the cameraman when he was following him around.urghhh do you think? His instagram post last night doesnt suggest he’s going anywhere but as you say, strange to clarify that specifically. I wonder what he did say.
Yeah, that's a fantastic shout actually. If we get rid of the 500k p/w Ronaldo is on we can re-sign Pogba and half of Lingards left testicle and obviously that's going to be a huge help next season.This.
