Our second place under Ole might be the best we manage for decades to come. If not, we’ll have won the league so what’s the problem?
So we spent 420m+ for a 2nd place followed by a disaster ?

    Back passing motherfeckers

How do you expect to win a game when three out of every five passes are back passes

Telles is such a shite footballer. I am amazed that we signed him. He’s actually so crap. Can’t control a ball. He cannot defend against complete average players, let alone against the top teams. Offers zilch going forward. He’s a major weak link in this team. Elanga is also very poor. Just because he runs arounds and looks like he puts in effort is not a prerequisite to start at Manchester United. Juan Mata? Looks like a 15 year old playing mens football. He’s done. How he’s in the team, starting is a complete and utter joke and is really a kick in the teeth to the fans that travelled down south. Varane, Champions League Varane looking so clumsy it’s unreal. He is not what I expected when we signed him. So disappointed in how he has played since coming to United. McTominay? He doesn’t do anything? Can’t get near any of the Brighton players and has just chased shadows in the last 45 mins. Fernandes? Confidence is shot. A shell of a player he was when he joined. Ronaldo? The only reason he took that free kick in the first place is because he’s hardly touched the ball. Skies it. Mata or Bruno would have been the better option. We look like 11 strangers out there. Such a poor excuse for a football team. Everyone needs to be sacked.

Horrific first half. It looks like we're playing City out there, just a more blunt version of it. We showed nothing that half to be honest.

Weirdest booking I can remember seeing. He's left a leg out to block a potential clearance up the line, and the player has made sure he's gone over it. Definite foul, nothing more.

But going full pelt studs up to the shin wasn't even a free kick. Should've been a red. Not even a VAR check.

Still, we deserve to be behind because we have 2 players who are comfortable with the ball at their feet it seems.

It's a horrible and depressing sight to see a United game this fecking pointless in May.

Can only think that Fred wasn't fit enough to play 90 minutes. No other reason why McTominay starts this.

If the season was still worth something I'd be cursing Telles starting over AWB too.

Amazing how in our time of need all the lads are out injured.

    Pretty damn convenient.

What the feck is McTominay doing?
His usual act of hiding from the ball when we're in possession.

He knows he's an absolute donkey who doesn't belong near this level. And it's only Brighton.

I don’t understand Rangnick at all. If the seniors are not putting a shift in, why not select some kids?

Game will change when Fred comes on.

Need some legs in midfield desperately.

Telles has to be one of the worst fullbacks who have ever played for us. He actually makes Dalot look competent by comparison. Is AWB injured because, whilst I don’t rate him, there’s no way these two should be playing ahead of him?
    Dalot is shit
    Telles is shit
    AWB is shit

But AWB is the shitteir among all the FBs we have.. so he doesn't get ahead of anyone

My take on first half. Elanga is poor, he can't even protect the ball. McTominay is McTominay, just another body in midfield. I would even he play another 10 years, he won't improve. Telles is a really poor defender. Brighton was told to exploit him.

Name one player on the pitch worth keeping for next year in a top-four team.
The only one I'd really want us to keep has already told everyone he's off. Matic. Even though he's on the slow side, he's one of few players actually comfortable with the ball and doesn't shit the bed when pressed.

Because they were doing ok in the last two games and he wants to make sure we get the Europa League at least.

Elanga is worse than Dan James.

Let's give youth a chance and sub Mata and Matic.

All our CBs are shit, in fact the entire defence and midfiled.

I really agree with Rangnick that we may need 10 players next season.

Meh, Brighton outplay most teams in the league and we're about the most beatable side around right now, the Brentford game aside.

A hard watch, but nothing to be surprised about. The defending in our own third is probably a bit better than expected to be fair.

If we start preparing the bid now, maybe we can snag Caicedo by 2025?

    Telles disgusts me.
His delivery is sort of average. Everything else, absolutely dreadful.

I'd say he did establish himself, and I believe if Sir Alex was still here, Welbeck would have been, too.
Didn’t Welbeck choose to leave because LvG wouldn’t guarantee him a place as a starter at CF?

I doubt if Sir Alex would have done any different.
