What a stupid thing to do. Feck off Brandon.
Some fans followed him to his own home and abused him. That's going way too far. Not the smartest reaction from him granted but I'd be pissed too.

Football fans take things way too far at times. Norwich were already down before the game as well. Makes no sense.

Remember when one of our players got abused, flying kicked the crowd and our fan base backed him? The lad seemingly got followed home at a time when footballers are being robbed and everyone’s getting mad at him for being annoyed about it.

Prime example of why footballers have managed social media.

It's his money, he's free to spend it how he wishes but that shouldn't stop people from raising an eyebrow...

Idk. Feel like the humble footballer doesn’t do this shit or didn’t use to. They thought long term and wouldn’t go crazy, more contemplated. Of course the superstars like Beckham it’s different, but idk. Maybe I’m just an old man complaining

There's such an enormous difference between the players, the situation, and the response that I don't really know where to start with a reply

Let's hope he doesn't end up addicted to toblerone and driving barefoot to Dundee.

How is it possible to be a third choice left back on loan to the worst team in the league and be this much of a wanker?

How much worse would he be if he had the tiniest bit of actual success?

Yeah there's been footballers and their families held at fecking knifepoint and it's happening often these days. His social media post was obviously made in the heat of the moment.

I’m not directly comparing the two incidents as equal, although I’d say following someone home is probably worse than getting abuse in the stadium during the game.

It’s more about how irritating it is watching the fan base so fractured. It’s instantly a problem with the academy or Lingard’s fault for influencing him. Not a word about a group of fans following home and abusing him, just references to his character for making a nothing Instagram story.

He’s in that Lingz Rashy clique as well isn’t he?

Was with Rashford at the boxing in Dubai.

English and homegrown, apparently likes jewellery and also seemingly is friends with players who also play for United, so that pretty much encapsulates everything our online fanbase hates.

This is a big problem with some fans. They think footballers are just robots with no emotions. The lads been followed home and had abuse shouted at him by a bunch of thugs but obviously he's the twat for posting something silly on social media in the heat of the moment.

I would love to see how some posters in here would react in that situation.

I don’t get it. Agree with saying feck those people who followed you home but attributing a minority to seemingly not only the entire fanbase, but the club itself?

And that bling video is just wow  I guess he’s more interested in being wicked fresh and gucci fire.

We really nees to cut back on the contracts we hand out to these young folk.
It's a bit hard to blame them for the way they turned out to be honest, the whole club is rotten to the core.

I never owned a dog before so not really in the know on the subject but is it that bad of a thing if the dog doesn't even feel anything?

Getting angry at being followed home by some arseholes is fair enough. Footballers are people, too. A lot of fans seem to forget that. Even if they play like shit, it doesn't give you the right to follow them home to abuse them. The post looks bad without any context. With it, you can understand his reaction.

I guess he's not the type to come back from loan, score against them, and not celebrate. Unlike some.

Ffs he was followed home? What is wrong with people?
Is a trend to bring up their nationality and just assume they're doing it as they're an asshat. Should have just called the Police, but I was 21 once and would have done things differently than I would now.
Fans following a player home would be a huge issue, they really need to give their heads a wobble. I bet he's happy to be leaving.
