If I was a betting man, I'd be leaning towards the Grizzlies in this game.

Bookies having the warriors as favs for the title is such a joke. This team is nowhere near a title winning team

As you can probably tell, I'm not paying much attention to the game, but I don't think we're winning.

If I was the Kings, I'd fire Mike Brown on the spot.
I think this is a bit silly, after all he did this in the past when stepping in for Kerr: On July 4, 2016, the Golden State Warriors hired Brown as an assistant coach; he replaced Luke Walton, who departed for a head coaching position with the Los Angeles Lakers.[32] Brown acted as acting head coach during periods in which head coach Steve Kerr was unable to do so due to chronic back pain. Brown led the Warriors to a 12–0 record in the 2016–2017 NBA playoffs while Kerr was absent;[33] the Warriors went on to win the championship in five games that year, defeating the Cleveland Cavaliers.[34] The Warriors finished the playoffs with a 16–1 record, the best postseason winning percentage in NBA history.

I remember this like it was yesterday and the team was marvelous even when he was coaching. This is a whole other issue.

Oh please, I was joking.

...and now you're keeping me up.

It's ok, just one game in a 7-game series, can happen to any team. Warriors will have a great chance to clinch (and will likely do so) next game.

They should have lost the last game as well. They are just not very good and the worst thing is that they don’t know that

I don't really agree with this, Warriors played excellent in clutch time like one would expect while the Grizz shat the bed and weren't prepared for the moment. You have to play for the full 48 to get a win.

Draymond court side hoping to lose game 6 and coming back to Memphis to whoop that trick in game 7

This is why Ja can't be in MVP talks. The Grizzlies are better without him.
This is absolute nonsense. We have a great coach and a smart bunch of players. That's not an indictment on Ja.

Anyway, Warriors in 6.

@charlton66, how do you see the upcoming matchup against the Suns?

The Bucks have been fecking amazing through this series without Middleton. Blood soaked Giannis at the end of the game was instantly iconic, loved it.

Shows how good this Bucks team is as Middleton has actually been one of their better performers against the Celtics in previous meetings. He's also extremely underrated defensively in addition to the all star offense he brings.

How did the Celtics lose that. They had multiple double digit lead and after the Horford dunk on Giannis it looked like game over.

Wow just watch the highlights of both games.
Still think GSW clinch it despite the ass whipping they got tonight.

What a comeback from the Bucks. Unbelievable, can never rule them out.
Was fully expecting Boston to take that one.

I'm hoping whoever wins this series of Boston and Bucks goes in to wins it all.

Don't know yet. At this rate it might be next year before before we see the Suns again.

It's not meant to be, it's more on the media's campaign for him to be MVP earlier in the season which revolves around the Grizzlies record, but that arguments is weak when the Grizzlies have a much better win percentage with him out and we're not talking about a game or two but nearly 1/3 of the season.

Excellent is pushing it IMO. They made their free throws. They did not have a single field goal made in the last 3 and a half minutes of the game. Defended very well though.

I actually think Grizzlies would take the series with Ja, and will win game 7 if they can force it. I expect Warriors to win handsomely in game 6 though.

Beyond this year's playoff, I'm really excited by Memphis, a bit of experience, some roster tweaks and they could be the Bucks of the west, it's a very well built roster.

The two questions for the Memphis roster going forward are: 1) which disgruntled star (or quality role player) do they pursue in a trade to pair with Ja and JJJ? and 2) Which players from the current roster do they ship-off in the trade?

Unlucky to have lost the Lakers pick this year due to how awful they've been as it goes back to New Orleans. Adding those three picks up with some of their salaries could bring them another valuable piece.
