The harsh reality in life is that we can't prevent all bad things from happening. I don't think we should sacrifice our freedom and privacy that much for a bit more "safety".
Safety? We cant even sacrifice our privacy for ease of use of google.

I had a trip outtown last week and to my suprise google has made a dossier on my trip, how many miles travelled, places i went to, even a full pathing of my journey.

She was instructed twice by the judge to return to her seat with her lawyers.

It's poor form to leave before the jury
she did look angry there

probably mad at how shite that lawyer was at lawyering

Saw an analysis that was more sympathetic to the lawyer than most yesterday.

Basically their argument was that Heard had been so unpredictable with some of her responses in direct and cross that she was needing to wrangle her back to their narrative so the questions needed to give direction, and no scope for her to go off.

Not sure if I buy that but was funny either way

It did appear as though that lawyer was a bit lost and caught unprepared

but a good lawyer can think on their feet and react to the situation

Why do they have so many conversations recorded? Is it home security footage or something?

Not sure her outburst about her attorney's being trash is going to help her case.

Their couples therapist suggested it would help to record arguments so when they calm down they can understand what they act like during them

I think that it was said she recorded it and then they (her devices in full) were handed over to police as evidence or some thing similar to get the restraining order vs Depp, then by legal process were handed over to the Depp team where a neutral third party extracted all the evidence, way back in 2015-2016?

So that's them consciously knowing they're being recorded christ. Although perhaps that's why they're so bad, they want to goad each other into extremes to then show the therapist the other is to blame.

This is why i don't get the lack of evidence of abuse. Her character and actions suggest she'd absolutely get evidence of it even just as emotional blackmail.

Looked like she gesticulated to the police woman that she wanted to leave the room - hence the reason the police woman followed her out, hardly a storming out, but maybe she had injested weed and couldn't control her bowel movements?

Or maybe someone walking out of the court room to use the bathroom needs a narrative and a biased youtube video too?

Jonny’s lawyer Camille is so fecking good. The other side have no idea how to handle her watching the clips from yesterday she had Ambers lawyer is knots, her lawyer literally sighed on the stand and said ‘I’m trying, I’m trying’. I don’t think I’ve ever seen such beatdown in court.

Camille Vasquez Im in love.

Nobody from the caf went up to her to say that
Which is very relevant.

There's a difference both between comments in private, a bunch of guys mouthing off at the pub or comments directly to people/catcalling.

This forum, especially in the general which is locked to outsiders, is the middle case. Here it's just a bit cringeworthy at times but basically harmless, but a lot of the comments finding the concept so hilarious can be and are used to defend catcalling as well.

Catcalling is just a complement as well, of course. It's just calling someone hot, which is a positive trait. No, a bunch of guys broadcasting their sexual interests is not a complement. Giving a complement is not the intention here, nor is it often received as such.

People are hot, and by all means feel free to express it when it's not bothering anyone, but people here are really fooling themselves.

What on Earth are you on about.

What are people fooling themselves about?

The feck is writing on a forum, “that lawyer is hot”, somehow catcalling? Can people never declare someone hot anymore? What the holy feck.

I’m sure absolutely no-one who said she was hot on redcafe would stand outside court shouting “Oi hottie” and wolf whistle at her.

You are literally the worst person at reading I've ever come across.

I'm saying both that it isn't catcalling to call people hot on a forum, and that it's completely fine to call people hot.

I'm using very simple words, yet you read the opposite of what's written. This is such a regular occurrence that I'm regretting replying even before pressing send, but I won't make that mistake again.

Tying yourself up in knots here mate. Who cares about what is used to justify catcalling when, as you stated, it is not catcalling because the person of interest is not involved or targeted? Someone says a person looks good/attractive on here - so what? The need to argue and counterargue every statement on the internet is amazing.

That's like saying somebody calling Boris Johnson fat and obnoxious on here in a thread he is the subject is de facto bullying him, because if they said it to his face it would hurt.

I'm not arguing with anyone. I was agreeing with the person I replied to, and expanded with a few of my thoughts that you don't have to care about.

So called locker room talk is not "so what". It's a fascinating topic that some people find worth talking about, no matter what the conclusion ends up being. You're not one of those people, cool, I'll try to remember.

ha ha.

I’d say the craziest thing of all is the poster, and I’d imagine, tonnes like him, think that’s both normal and a good thing.
Political correctness has in some places almost become comedical. I honestly believe that certain men drive this no interaction narrative more than the women. Explains how the incel movement came to be.

So I hear in order to protect yourself from your agressor, you hit him and you barricade yourself with him
Yes but its important to remember during those times he was a different man. When he wants space, she tries to stop him because he will return as someone else.

This would actually make for an entertaining supernatural movie script. m night shyamalan special like he did with Split.

She will, I doubt Johnny Depp had any other expectation at all.

This was about public opinion and he has obviously already won in that aspect.
Assuming that they have presented their best evidence, which should be the case since Heard would be the best person for foundation for it, its probably 50/50 if Depp wins, unlikely Heard wins her counterclaim and you can see the publics reaction to seeing the evidence for themselves..

 I don't even understand how an explanation like this can be approved by her lawyers. It defies any form of basic human common sense
