Richard Arnold on Rolling Stones top 200 hip hop album list

"cnuts, how could they pit Cardi B ahead of Illmatic?"

On Stranger Things

"wouldn't mind a go on the milf mum"

On wearing white socks

"do it all the time with me Nike sliders"
Did he say anything about players wearing skirts or the best footwear during a zombie apocalypse?

Yes and talked about on going active negotiations and budget for the summer with numbers. Thats a sackable offence at any major multi national firm
I assume you have no idea what you are talking about since executives (in football and non-football businesses) talk about active negotiations and budget ALL THE TIME. Just go and watch some quarterly financial report presentations.

You could look at it cynically and it could be staged. How would Arnold get wind of a protest at his house? Wouldn't the safe thing be to call the police? Would you brave going down the pub with a gang of men you have never met before? Wouldn't you notice a phone pointed at you as he looks right at it a couple of times where he is sitting? Also couldnt hear the 200 mill being said. Mighty suspicious if you ask me.
Are you serious with that first question ?

"Hey honey, I know it's a Saturday and the kids want to go to the park but I'm going to pop out for a couple of hours so I can film a fake video so that random people who won't affect my job whatsoever will think I'm a stand up guy."

It's a never ending battle.

Arnold wants to do things. But it costs money.
He gets sponsors in to get the money
Preparation etc etc happens to bring the money in and spend it appropriately, plan it all
Protests
Sponsors pull out
Rinse and repeat.

People need patience. New CEO seemingly wants to do things right but we got to wait for it.

Though that being said.

100% if new players and shiny new toys was brought in every year and we won every trophy under the sun, no fan would give half as much of a feck about the stadium or the training ground. Fans are fickle. If you win shit. No one cares about anything else. Guarantee if ETH wins a trophy or two next year and gets UCL. All this protesting shit stops.
Fans have every right to protest over the state of the ownership. As much as I want the club to have new shiny things its never going to happen under the glaziers. They syphon money out of the club all the time, they couldn't give two feck about what happens regardless of what Arnold says. We're a cash cow and we will continue to be milked by the leeches for the foreseeable. The only way to stop them is through protesting not sitting and hoping that ETH becomes fergie.

There's protesting against criminal govts and there's hanging around outside some guys house because he's not bought your team a player.
Get a grip man.
And you try reading. The guy was going on about losing the sponsorship for the training kits which happened after the Super League protests.

Now unless Arnold lives at OT, those certainly were not at his house.

It won’t help. That’s for sure.

For all he seems to come across as an okay guy, this video worries me. A serious CEO wouldn’t be trading commercially sensitive information in an environment like this. It makes me worry he’s got the same personality flaw that Woodward had, the need to grandstand even when it has the potential to harm you.
He must have seem then with their phones out and knew there was a risk of being recorded. They don't strike me as the 00-kind of secret agents.

Fecking arseholes lad shows a bit of decency and engages in conversation with fans and they fecking upload it for clout.
Scum.
Hopefully he doesn't suffer any consequences because of this.
Out of order for sure but scum? You know who the real scum is? The Glazers mate. 500m debt. 1 billion servicing it. Have a bit of perspective here.

Apparently Arnold also offered to buy the group a large chicken shish wrap and cheesy chips each after the drinks, which they politely declined.

Respect to him for doing that, For the people having a hissy fit saying they aren't going to watch it and it's not right, etc, at least we now have some inside knowledge and workings at a high level, without the fans planning to confront him you would have been none the wiser. BUT he could have been BS them to shut them up!
Agreed

Abramovich, Glazers, Etihad and the Sheiks all have 2 letters in common: The Fecking FA.

Absolute bunch of useless and spineless cowards who let these cnuts ruin football for the rest of us.

For example Mbappé knows that he has Perez wrapped around his finger. The love is real.
Yep. But then Perez goes on the madhouse show that is El Chiringuito to say stuff like that so it's not much more structured than what Arnold did.

Right! Arnold comes in, takes off his coat - body odour - takes off his hat, sits down to drink his pint. Sees the tweet. Sees me. Shock! Rescue, rescue, rescue, rescue. Remorse, remorse, guilt, guilt, guilt, whirlwind of self-loathing... and Arnold buys me a drink. Fiendish!
Go on, run! Just like you did at Goose Green, Argie!!!

Filming him is exactly what he should have expected, and what he probably did expect. I don't condone it, but it it doesn't surprise me. Was he really there to have a confidential conversation? He sounded like a wet blanket with no plan to me. Just wanted to placate the fans to avoid a protest at his house (which is fair enough - protesting at someone's house goes too far, for me). I don't have "massive respect" to him for what what he did though. He knew what was happening and he almost certainly knew he was likely to be filmed. He needs to prove himself via his actions.

I’m not entirely sure half the stuff Perez said last summer was approved by anyone - it was the ramblings of a mad man
And he has no shareholder board to report to either

What if he can’t prove himself with actions because fans are protesting and sponsors are pulling out?

Just a suggestion - but great timing for this to come out after Pogba shite from yesterday - help to deflect attention?

Id love to think that Arnold and co would deflect some attention and even pass a bit of shade saying two of the leaks have left the club…….would be f’ing great

Haven't watched Stranger Things since the first season. Is the milf you are referring to Winona Ryder?

They both are, they're both harming the club.
I don't think it's right what they did but I wouldn't even put the two in the same league mate.

Secretly filming the new CEO and putting us in a disgraceful debt and position through their own sheer ineptitude is not even remotely similar.

Massive respect to Arnold for doing this. Can you imagine Woodward having the stones to do this with fans at his local pub?

Admittedly his hand might have been forced upon hearing of planned protests at his house, but credit to him for coming out and speaking still.

Refreshingly critical of those above him as well.
How was his hand forced. He could just call the police. Or not go to the pub where these idiots were. Honestly if people are low life enough to protest at someone's house you aren't 100pc safe going into this environment.

Seriously some of the things I've read in here tonight. Does that mean Pogba and Jesse are the leaks? How could you film him and betrayed his trust?

If you never coped on that them two clowns were leaking, just give up. Arnold played this like a PR exercise and likely knew he was being recorded, all the different angles of recordings and photos. Hardly seemed annoyed, he flipped the situation on the fans to get a message out. People saying the fans are scum and feeling sorry for Arnold, grow up. Yeah they shouldn't have recorded him (can never be justified) but the fans have been treated like dirt, for ages now. He brought the fight away from his home and tried to clear air, start a fresh with fan base. It was a clever move but actions speak louder from the club.
