@Brits, please fix your “mass stabbings”epidemic.

I would book a one-way ticket for her fecking ass to Japan so she can watch and learn how they do public safety over there. Learning some manners would be a very welcome thing too. And by the way, Japanese police don't work with kid gloves when they deal with a rowdy "gaijin" if she dares running her mouth or doing anything disturbing the peace.

Blondie Jim Thorpe is such an odious cnut. The next couple of years with her actually being on committees will be an absolute abortion.

Not really since only 7 states will have to change a few laws (and creating a few new ones) the other 43 states have a lot of people carrying concealed guns and they aren't the problem, the new gun bill for example is ok except the red flag law since is been abused in some states (ex's, divorces, etc), also the fact they go at night to someone's house and in some cases don't even knock with homeowners shot dead because they grabbed a gun thinking someone is breaking in.
I have heard this before but can't find a news story. Can you point me in the direction of a few of these so I can read up?

Where's my arc, Paulie?
No doubt RBG should have retired, but that non-event doesn’t fully negate what she is saying. It still would be 5-4, potentially better but still tilted conservative.
the current situation is the culmination of repubs who have a long-term plan of stacking the sc. dems never had any strategy, so blaming voters is beside the point.

It's like you've never read any of my other posts on guns. FFS barros.

The same was said here in Chile. "Vote for one of the 2 big coalitions or waste your vote".

Now this 36 years old dude is our president.

Hopefully the DNC will let AOC run for president, or at least good old Bern. But we know the DNC prefer a republican president before letting to run a progressive socialist candidate that can muster that big majority that don't want more of the same establishment corruption.

Winning 2016 makes a lot of wrongs from the past six years righted.

Which goes right back to yesterday's point when I wrote that major parties need to split at some point. Progressive socialists will need to become their own party and eventually become a force of their own down the road. Labour parties among countries with British-style politics started small before they eventually replaced the old school/traditional Liberal parties as the main driving force for progressive voters. In Canada, the NDP even became the main opposition in 2011 and I might have voted for them again if the charismatic Jack Layton did not pass away so prematurely when his party was on the rise.

I heard for example in Florida when a police officer is getting divorced is in risk to be red flagged and he would be out of work until the case is resolved.
-Search for Duncan Lemp killed on his sleep by a swat team.
-Gary Wills (he was stupid in not giving his gun to the cops, but still killed in his own house).
Now I wouldn’t be against this law if because you don’t like your neighbor and you complain that person is dangerous with no evidence at all that person may be killed loses all his guns and ammo and again the wealthy will have no problems to have lawyers to represent him/her but the poor …. that’s only issue I have with this law.

clinton was a bad candidate. her refusal to accept that and the extreme lengths they've gone through to perpetuate conspiracy theories, with some of her campaign officials being in court over this, set the bar for the 2020 election steal bullshit. it was the dems, through the clinton campaign, that did the whole "stolen election" thing first.

deep down the dems will be delighted that the SCOTUS is as far right as it is because it gives them some culture war issues to run on. they have nothing else to offer at this point as evidenced by biden's historically shit polling numbers.

Yeah, I can see it.

Haven’t heard his name in donkeys years .... read about him when I was a kid. Amazing story, must be one of the most versatile sportspeople ever.
Some go as far to consider him the de facto greatest athlete of all time which looking at his achievements isn't an outlandish claim.

He was great.

Would it not be 5-4 to the democratic/liberal favor as neither Religious Nutter nor Frat Boy would be on the bench? Assuming Hillary/other nom would have won in 2016 as the post was alluding to.

Bernie never had the majority iirc.

He was shunted by his own dems voters
