He's made it. I'm sure he'll look back on his career and remember all the big nights out he's had in Dubai...

'Nowhere exciting'. What a way to describe the people who pay your wages and the fans that support you.

Good player who would probably do well for a top 6-8 level team, but seems like a total bellend based on these last couple of incidents.

Tbf he clearly just wanted to get out of there and to avoid the inevitable "who?!" in response to Brentford from the bellend holding the camera. Not the brightest thing to do but excusable imo.

It's Brentford, unless you know English football teams or know west London, it really isn't anywhere exciting and you won't know the place.

Personally think he's hilarious.

Brentford is soulless but it's really an opinion you'd think he'd keep to himself considering they're his employees and putting £30k+ a week in his account.

Dumb as a bag of rocks this lad to get caught doing this twice in the space of a few months.

I think in this case he was being a bit tongue in cheek because the guy didn’t know who he even was, but yeah, it’s a bit of a bad look when this is literally the second time this year…

Any Brentford fan with a degree of awareness about them will find that funny. But Toney has to be careful because it's turning into a meme now

He was just trying to get out of the conversation. A load of fuss over nothing.

Both instances are fair whack tbf — one he was trying to get his leg over and the other he was trying to get away. We’ve all been in both situations many times

We need to sign this kid. Massive potential after watching him all season. Great athleticism, an obvious drive to improve himself, and a natural instinct in the box. He's the type of striker that Mourinho would make a world beater.

I haven't been following him but I also liked the stuff I saw about him in the lower leagues.

It's a player I instantly wanted. How has he been doing?

Reminded me of Drogba due to looks and some goals.

His decision making, first touch and link up play makes him a great add to any team. He’s got this brentford team fluid upfront. At his age of 26 he’s about to enter some great striker years and with the right coaching (Haller ETH) he can be very effective

I think he would be a great signing for you.

I actually thought Liverpool would look at him as a "Plan B" player instead of just spamming crosses into the box to a bunch of short arses but they obvious decided to go with Nunez.

(I think he may have even stated that he supported them/ wanted to play there but I may be mistaken.)

Would completely change your attack (great at hold up and link up play) and when I used to watch Brentford I felt that his biggest problem was that he didn't have a player supplying him the way he supplied others, he wouldnt have that problem with you at all.

Would cost fairly big money wouldn’t he?
Aren't Brentford alright with letting players go for decent prices?

Think they let Watkins and Benrahma go for "fair" prices and they've probably already scouted and signed their Toney replacement.

Hard to know what Brentford's situation is, they don't have years of PL money behind them so couldn't charge what say Leicster or Everton do for their star players, but he certainly won't be cheap. Can imagine them valuing him at 40-50 mil.

Fair point, be interesting to see if that’s changed in the Prem.

Haven't seen enough of Toney to know if he’d be a worthwhile target.

Just on the mention of Watkins, I remember reading in one of the fanzines we had a serious look at him before he went from Brentford to Villa but didn’t take it further.

He's pretty good though, not your standard Joshua King or Ighalo link
He does seems a handful to be fair. And I know we’re trying to not spend excessive amounts on perhaps the wrong signings, but it just seems a bit underwhelming.

His constant little negative comments about Brentford isn’t what we need if he was to move and not enjoy his time here either.

Maybe I‘m just a little grouchy over the endless amount of players we get linked to haha.

I like him, and I think we have players that would benefit from playing off someone like that.

Would be a bit crazy to see a guy from my home town play for United. I actually think he would be a very decent back up striker for us. We really need to bring in a top, top striker next year to replace Ronaldo though. Unless of course, Martial can do something quite extraordinary.

I like Ivan Toney too. But he is not a striker for a top 6 club in the PL. I doubt he will get much better than he is right now.

Would cost a fortune and he isn't good enough to justify that. Frank has a weird hatred for us so there'd be a huge tax on him, especially after we poached Eriksen on a free.
