Nothing to make of it. Its just the media trying to run the story in ways whether they can get clicks. That just means Bayern doesn’t want him. FDJ said he wants to stay at Barca …. They are like “…..no”. He said no to United: champions league issues. Player apparently says he will consider Bayern: *crickets* from them and as you pointed out, no association with Lewa deal. So then he’s “offered” to Chelsea .. but I haven’t heard anything from Chelsea in terms of interest. Honestly dk what to make of this
On pointViews from two guys on the ground.
Strong DADDY DADDY WANT WANT WANT vibes.Sod him honestly - hope he looks forward to not even being registered next year, sitting on the bench 17 mil short.
Looks like Sam has absolutely no idea what is happening with the transfer deal and he has started to rephrase what has already been mentioned at the start.
Do you genuinely think if de Jong said to ETH he doesn't want to join United we wouldn't have moved on? I just dont see it.We’re fecking idiots - when someone says no to you - you don’t hang about like a fecking stalker.
Let Barcelona deal with the fallout of buying all those players and not being able to register them and not being able to pay him his wages.
Some people are just not that into you - no need to be a mental fecking bastard about it.
We do have to presume that ETH has at least phoned De Jong and so knows the true positionDo you genuinely think if de Jong said to ETH he doesn't want to join United we wouldn't have moved on? I just dont see it.
Don't blow my coverStrong DADDY DADDY WANT WANT WANT vibes.
Aye. I love to muppet, it's what I was born to do, but it's hard to get too excited in this one due to how little is actually going on. The player is worth getting very excited about though.Does anyone feel like it's groundhog day? No movement so papers just recycle stories
Sources close to the player says this, sources close to the Barca players say another thing. His agent says he wants to leave then he doesn't want to leave.
FdJ is in constant contact with EtH but doesn't want to leave and has told him that, but United have assurances that he wants to come.
I still believe, but it's getting so tedious
I remember the caf muppets having a field day that day.Pretty sure if Fergie knew he had a good chance of getting a player then he'd chase them throughout the window. Look at Berba, that looked so unlikely for the whole window and he got him on deadline day.
I'm sure he had the same assurances from Berba as EtH has from de Jong, just the cirumstances of the transfer are so so so much different.
If a manager believes he'll get his player, then he'll chase him for as long as needed.
ETH certainly knows what is happening. However he can't mention or say anything as existing contractual issues are highly confidential. Can you imagine if you are on a contract with your current employer and another company advertises about you publicly? You will be sued to the heavens. We do have to presume that ETH has at least phoned De Jong and so knows the true position
He must have the assurances, it'd make no sense to pursue a player without assurances he wants to leave. The Luckhurst quotes don't exactly sound great, but I refuse to believe ETH wouldn't know if Frenkie flat out rejected us
He is known for making shite up to fill his daily articles quota.Looks like Sam has absolutely no idea what is happening with the transfer deal and he has started to rephrase what has already been mentioned at the start.
It is well-known that De Jong's interest is to stay at Barca but the situation has already gone into a state where he has to leave, due to his wage issues. And that is why we made the move as we know that FDJ can't stay at the club. This was already the case when we first contacted FDJ's agent. Right now we just have to wait until FDJ comes to a conclusion with his club. If Barcelona decide to keep FDJ, good luck to them considering the financial ramifications.
If Barcelona can find financial investments to meet the requirements or they enter into a deferred agreement with La Liga's management, they can still keep FDJ. The current situation seems like they are buying these players based on FDJ's potential sale, so yes they will be in a situation where they can't register anybody. If he doesn't leave Barcelona will that stop them from registering all there new players?
No wonder he was banned from Ole's press conferences. He is known for making shite up to fill his daily articles quota.

Aye, he’s got too much of a good relationship with ETH for it to make any logical sense otherwise. He must have the assurances, it'd make no sense to pursue a player without assurances he wants to leave.
Said in a much better way than me above, thank you. I really do think if he can stay without altering his contract again then he won't be leaving without being forced out. And that if he is forced out his preferred side will be us, hence us still chasing himAye, he’s got too much of a good relationship with ETH for it to make any logical sense otherwise.
He must have told him that he’ll stay as long as Barça honour his contract, but that the club are saying that is impossible, in which case he’ll be happy to join ETH rather than renegotiate his wage/contract for a second time.
The idea he has “no interest” make absolutely no logical sense when the manager and player have a good relationship.
This makes sense to me. ETH is not a complete idiot.Another thing is that ETH would not ask the club to pursue if he feels that FDJ has no interest playing here. Unfortunately Barcelona's contractual issues are a very big problem so we have no choice but to wait.
Sit tight and relax guys. If it happens it will happen.
Exactly and that respect goes both ways. If de Jong said he doesnt want to come to United, I'd imagine that ten Hag wouldn't want to ruin his relationship with him and his agent by pursuing him relentlessly. He'd back off and go elsewhere. It would make no sense to continue pressing.Aye, he’s got too much of a good relationship with ETH for it to make any logical sense otherwise.
It’s absolute clickbait bullshit.
I think De Jong is keeping us as a backup plan if he’s forced to leave Barca. He’s probably told ETH he’s open to coming here - if forced - to keep his options open. That’s just a smart move from him. However it seems he really doesn’t want to move and will fight to the end to stay in Barcelona, probably knowing that if he sees this summer through and becomes a pivotal player there next season, all this talk of forcing him out might die.Do you genuinely think if de Jong said to ETH he doesn't want to join United we wouldn't have moved on? I just dont see it.
Pity the Manchester based folks who have to read what he writes.Tier 5 source. Should ban his tweets from being posted on here.
