Yeah Kudos on that, I used to be curious what toxic BS goldbridge was spouting but I've just put him aside now. Such a shit channel.
I’m sort of intrigued myself but it’ll just piss me of so why bother. There’s so much negative talk around the club at the moment.

yes but he is introduced as Adam from the United Stand not Adam from the United Stand, a lifelong fan from a fan channel. There is a big difference. Lots of people dont know what the United Stand is. They will just presume he's from some news organization and has a background in football. I mean a legitimate background like ex pro.

For example - If you see someone on the news talking about the Ukraine War and they were introduced as Adam from Ukraine Today. You would presume the were legit if you never knew Ukraine Today is a Youtube channel by Ukrainian bakers.
doesnt take long to find out he is from a mere fan channel. Would you prefer to listen to Souness in a nice suit and shiny teeth baffled why the Glazers get criticism as theyve 'spent money'? Or listen to jimmy floyd Hasselbank critique United for 2 minutes that he doesnt give a shit about

I think the latter would at least have common sense to condemn the fans today. So yeah, not this Adam wanker.

UnitedpeoplesTV is a new one and pretty good. He’s building up a decent following too.
Agree seems pretty level headed.
Sam is a really genuine guy i like him too. And no clickbait titles like The United Stand on videos. I can recommend Unitedpeoples TV.

Really like Flex and KG from United View, positive and funny.

Also like Stretford Paddock, especially Jay, Joe and Adam they are fun and intresting to listen to.

Hasslebank wasnt spending a ton of money and spare time driving up and down the country following that travesty last season. Any gripes those fans have are legitimate. Those booing fans are Austalian, they see the games

This is the problem I have with the youtubers. They are becoming 'official' with no real football background or even real representation of the club. They are all in main media now like they know something. In this video if he was introduced as a United fan then fair enough. But he's not. \He's introduced as Adam from the United Stand. That implies credentials that he doesn't have. Or that's how it comes across to me.
fecking hell, talk about a stick up your arse. Do you want official certification for football fans like for accountants, architects and doctors?

I would love if some day opinions like the above were removed, unless they explain how some dumbo footballer of old who spouts complete nonsense or just repeats ready-made phrases is a better watch on TV.

Today I watched Robbo say Malacia was a good lad about 10 times in 1 minute before switching the channel. Zero insight, zero knowledge of what the player is about on display. And I couldn't care less if people flame me, just so sick of this desire for 'official' experts.

fecking Boris Johnson was PM, for feck's sake.

Blame those Australian fans for that, or are you saying thats because of fan channels
Read my post.

I am not blaming Adam from the United Stand for the boo's.

I am annoyed by the fact he gave a shit interview, where instead of condemning the fans, he tried to make it sound like they were legitimate to boo their own players.

Even after the interviewer tried to give him a lay-up in the follow-up question, he still didn't understand and went off on a tangent. And this imbecile is representing United fans here, which is what annoys me.

United View is quality and getting better n better with content. Flex and KG make a good combo and they seem to have some good contacts inside Utd.

Miserable bast***s. I thought this was a decent bump.

So what he got booed. Pogba got booed and critiqued all the time… and he could actually play football. You didn’t care then why you care now.

Bit daft to say no one cared about Pogba being boo'ed. It was debated to death.

Besides, they were boo'ed for different reasons. Not that it matters.

Key word debated.….

So what’s the difference someone doesn’t care he got booed?

How did you feel about Pogba getting virally attacked at the time?

Also what different reasons?

When it's Maguire it becomes an issue of morality, no way near as much was made of it when it was Pogba. Probably doesn't help that Pogba got dragged so frequently by the media in this country, whereas Maguire gets sympathy everywhere.

Why should he condemn the fans, he clearly feels the same. Youve called him a twat and an imbecile, watch MUTV if you want progaganda

Because it's an absolute shit thing to do and many of us did call it out when Pogba was booed. And why do these debates always come back to Pogba? Do you think he was the only United player to be booed prior to Maguire?

I used to tolerate Goldbridge but he's too negative and puts a downer on everything.

Flex, KG and Owen from United View are really good. Their tour content has been great so far, they don't take things too seriously but they do tend to try and find the positives and i feel they represent fans the best (No agendas against certain players)

Well it looks like Maguire is the first player to get booed the way we are making it an outcry.

When it’s the French player we have a bunch of excuses and debates. When it’s Maguire it’s a disgrace and like someone said…’morality‘.

End of the day it happened. It really shouldn’t… but move on.

I have no love for pundits and no hate for fans channels. Just separate them. How hard is that. No you arnt supposed to have to look up the presenters and decide who they are. Even its its easy its still ridiculous. When you have no clear boundary you the likes of Fox News and Alex Jones. Not saying Fans channels are anyway like that...now. But it an extreme example of when you open a door to people pretending they an authority and speaking on the behalf of a populace with 0 credentials. How hard is it to say from Adam a lifetime fan from Youtube fan channel United View?

And whats that got to do with sticks and arses?

United People's TV is very good although he has an hour or two of videos everyday so he goes in circles quite a bit, but he's a cool guy and is easy to listen to.

Can't stand Howson, every single title of his videos is more moany than half of cafe depressing posts.

McKola I liked all the way back from full time devils and post game fan interviews.

Goldbridge is nothing but a meme for me.

Reading some comments on here I'ma look at United view, first time hearing about them.

I would say that channels like Goldbridges definitely add fuel to that fire.
ive no idea how big united stand is worldwide. Are you saying they determine how Australian fans support the club? I will remind you Harry Maguire was sarcastically clapped off OT when being subbed off in our biggest game of the season vs Atletico

I’ve resubbed to United peoples. Had some good videos recently. But I suppose due to his dry personality he’s only good for certain things. Didn’t like the content back in the day as it was proper negative. But we have been rubbish.

They must have all been contributors/viewers of Goldbridge's channel.

Seriously though, it's funny how people attribute blame - so many happy to blame a certain individual they don't particularly like for unsavoury actions of fans. Kind of like doing the exact thing they blame YouTubers of: having an agenda.

I'm saying that every fan base has a vocal bunch of idiots and that channels like Goldbridges are a lightning rod for them and do lead to toxicity in the fan base.

If you don't think people like Goldbridge or Arsenal fan TV have influence over some of their fan bases then fair enough but I certainly do.

I think Goldbridge is funny and tune in to see his reaction when you lose so I don't have an agenda.

I would think he's an absolute prick and poison for the support if I was a United fan (the same way I would dislike AFTV if I was an Arsenal fan) but that's just me.

Yes debated. Which happens when people disagree on the booing. So dont pretend we were fine with it.

I didn't like the boos at the time, but you could at least understand some emotions at the time. It was mid season and what Pogba had as a record was worse than Maguire (the constant BS from his agent who is his representative), obviously too many lazy performances but more the on and off toxic interviews, etc.

It's just the way football is consumed these days. I think the majority of them don't really know what they are talking about but fan channels are here to stay. It's debatable whether it's any more poisonous than the glare and assessments of ex-players/legends who also broadcast their opinions, which are given far more weight.

I guess Roy Keane saying he would pin DDG up against a wall is fair game, as he is in a studio/suit

So you agree with booing but you don’t agree with Maguire getting booed.

Sounds subjective. But if you realised the contradiction and hypocrisy we wouldn’t be having this debate.

I can’t speak for most but the main reason why I defended Pogba was because a lot of his hate came unwarranted reasoning. Maybe that’s why you are so passionate about Maguire. But I can’t speak for you.

Some people are obsessed with credentials and will take anyone's word if they're labeled an "expert" on telly.

I disagree with Adam's take, but I disagree with a lot of journos when they speak on United. I don't see the difference.

Whether you like it or not, YouTube channels are relevant. They have near 1.4m subscribers. They didn't introduce him as some sort of expert or anything. It seems to me you don't like who they are and therefore reading into things that aren't there.

Hard to stay positive in a season like the one behind us, fortunately I've only started listening to football podcasts once it ended. Muppetry is a hobby like no other!

But you understood why Pogba got booed. So I’m confused with why you couldn’t understand Adam‘s opinion that some players haven’t been forgiven for below standard performances?
