Better than the most common sort of reply - which would be something along the lines of 'that's not sexual assault go fxck yourself golddigger'
 
Tbf a quick search on twitter will show you countless posts calling for Greenwood's return too, many with thousands of likes. And then there's the collective head-in-the-sand "it didn't go to trial and you can't prove those leaks were real so he's innocent" reaction to the Ronaldo accusations. No fanbase has a monopoly on bad takes.
 
That’s a step away from Greenwood with the proof. There’s no way in hell Arsenal dont suspend him now

Feels like the immediate social media reaction to Greenwood was a lot more condemnatory than this.

Though of course that was more emotive because of the audio.

it’s not even been picked up by the media. These allegations rarely are. Greenwood was an exception to that.
 
I'd prefer it if we had something more solid before jumping to conclusions against partey.

He might be innocent, who knows.

It's going to be incredibly hard to get a definite "judgement" on this case as it's a legal mess. Between it happening abroad, the law change, him not getting charged, bribes of the leaked conversations that can be understood both ways with some of the player's broken english...
The other cases need to be acted upon so he can get fully fecked. In my opinion he's guilty and the club's image is severly tarnished. The first noises should have been enough to leave him in London. I really thought they wouldnt be so stupid to take him if they hadnt received very solid proof that she was trying to scam him. Guess they are.

It seems Partey got off on technicality (incident happened in Spain I think, just before UK made it possible to prosecute for incidents outside of UK or something to that effect), so the accuser basically did an idgaf about the NDA and released what evidence she had on twitter risking a lawsuit. Seems legit from what I’ve seen.
 
Some of those tweets are absolutely devastating, especially the email from her lawyer.

What on earth were Arsenal thinking ? How many women need to accuse a player of rape before he gets suspended ?

Wow. I thought it was just an accusation or her hitting back in anger since it was an ex-gf. Wasnt aware there was evidence like a Mason situation.

Text evidence can be traced back to a phone number quite easily if it's WhatsApp/iMessage etc (not sure what he's using, but it's definitely not Matrix or Briar). While the messages themselves are end-to-end encrypted, their metadata isn't. This means with the hash of the message, you can trace out who communicated with who? In this case, it will hold up in court.

At this point in time, its only a court of public opinions that he will face. Has he played any of the pre-season matches?

That's horrible, I wish something solid could be done about it as I feel pretty uncomfortable shitting on him without any legal indictments.

According to SSN, the player that is out on bail has rape allegations from three different women. It's BS to believe all of them all lying.

The Greenwood case was very different because it involved assault and battery with some pretty graphic images from his girlfriend shown online. I imagine the forensic investigation matching his fists to her face was pretty easy to do and very hard to defend unless they were sparring partners or something which involves consensually allowing someone to beat you up.

I’m not defending Partey here because I have no idea what he did or didn’t do I’m just pointing out the inherent difficulties in proving rape with someone who was obviously a consensual sexual partner at some point.

Three different allegations and the one which has been dropped seems due to a technicality which resulted in the women's twitter thread rather lack of evidence which you seemed to be implying.

I agree with this. I've seen tweets that pause on the scrolling of the conversation that might suggest parts of what she was focusing on & really looked incriminating might not be construed in a different way.

Either way I'm extremely uncomfortable with the full situation, so I'm not going to comment any more on it, especially with 2 other cases active we know little about.

There's a further tweet twith a screenshot of the conversation where he says he was talking about not waking her before he went out, not to do with the incident you are talking about. That's why it's a bit of a minefield, or perhaps he realised she has a copy of the before messages and is just trying to get out it? It's all a mess.

I haven't looked too much in the allegations as I don't feel comfortable doing so and don't want to come out as someone who's trying to downplay the heinous nature of a possible rapist's action, it's just that twitter allegations really rub me the wrong way, apparently some of the allegations are based in UK right? I ratjer wait for more legal info coming out before taking passing judgment.

Nonetheless this is a really bad look for Arsenal.

There's literally emails of her showing that Partey paid her 160k in NDA. That's also a normal thing to do with a sex partner.

As I said, there's further screenshot where he's tried to clarify that statement was meaning don't need to wake you in the context of leaving the apartment, not that specific incident. Like I said though, he might just be covering tracks.

Or one party is pissed off at something else later and then claims it wasn't consensual?
Or even morning sex amonst couples? Most women aren't that keen - bad breath & all and only doing it because the guy has a raging hard-on in the morning.
