What’s even worse is other players in the squad probably don’t say a thing about it publicly. Ive not see any player come out and defend the players being alienated from the squad. It’s sad to see. It’s like watching bullying in school and no one doing anything to help.
Unfortunately all of this is probably mostly true. Though in the clip it does seem like Memphis is trying to cheer him up a bit.

This is definitely on.

The Chelsea rumors were just a smoke screen by Barcelona. Chelsea has spent $205.25m this window (according to transfermarkt) while still pursuing another CB. This puts them up with one of the highest spending ever in the history of football in one window. Signing another CB and De Jong would be a $350m+ outlay for one summer.
Chelsea board are showing ambition. 200m and not stopping the spend.

must be nice for chelsea fans to go from Roman, who threw money around like it was confetti, to a new owner in Boehly who doesn't appear to be afraid to throw out big money this summer either

meanwhile we cant fuking buy a CM or two, and an attacker to save our miserable lives

Great!

Next, we get to agree on a deal with Frenkie...then another deal with his girlfriend, Mikky.

We also have to agree a deal with Donny (for no reason at all)

There will always be a window which becomes the new highest spend window. With the new owner, there’s no reason why it can’t be this one.

Have we got a scoring chart of reliability? This is like trying to find a decent electrician.

Great, now how about with the player?
That's a good development, if true. An agent won't agree a deal if the player isn't open to the move. He could also agree a deal with Chelsea, in fairness, thus presenting his client with some options. But yeah, positive development against the recent "United have pulled out" reports.

@mazhar13 needed. That fella knows the reliability tier lists like a chemistry student knows the elements on the periodic table

I wonder what crap will come out later. It's usually 1 positive tweet followed by 10 negative.

I wonder if thats why Chelsea were waiting to see if things broke down with United? They're still just interested but not making a bid at the moment as per Ornstein... unless you want to believe Ben Jacobs, but not sure how he's more reliable than Orny?

Said ages ago that I felt like his agent was probably the one pushing this, and there's been a few reports to confirm this over the last couple of weeks. I reckon we agreed an outline contract a long time ago with his agent- it's the player that is the issue. But if Chelsea are interested then his agent won't give a damn who he plays for.

What did he say? I’ve avoided this thread for a while but saw the agent tweet on Twitter so thought I’d jump back in.
Basically said it’s done deal to Chelsea and FDJ thinks Utd are shit and we’ve given up all hope in ever existing as a football club.

Pretty sure we wouldn't agree anything with the agent without the player giving his consent to do so. If the player said no, then he wouldn't negotiate a contract with us would he? The agent needs to ask the player if he's happy with the terms before accepting/agreeing to it

Don’t agree with the notion that the agent doesn’t care where he goes. By all accounts Frenkie and Ali are very close. Frenkie said that people say he’s his “third son”. They’ve been together a long time and he obviously cares about what’s best for him.

It basically means we have come to some sort of agreement to pay Frenkie his outstanding wages and the agent his pending commissions. Which is what this has ALL been about from the beginning.

Meh. Like you keep saying anyway, these reporters are just peddling unverified information. Probably bollocks anyway.

That’s a bit of a leap. Not sure how you can basically say it means that  think there would be a hell of a lot more noise if that was the case.

He said Chelsea with sign both FDJ and Fofana and win the treble this season

He's towing the line that United have all but given up and that de Jong wants Chelsea if he was to leave due to CL.
You can tell just how much everyone hates us because of our dominance, can’t wait to stick the knife in.
