Tbh, I think deep down 95 % of this thread didnt expect this deal to happen.
Yeah that makes sense. Feel completely out of the loop after two days in the office instead of working from homeThe only update from Ornstein is that we're still persisting in the chase. He, however, thinks that the deal will be unlikely, which isn't unreasonable.
The transfer lions don't concern themselves with the opinions of realism sheep.Tbh, I think deep down 95 % of this thread didnt expect this deal to happen.
so true, im in the office at the moment and have properly fallen behind.Yeah that makes sense. Feel completely out of the loop after two days in the office instead of working from home
What a circus we are. Bunch of fecking amateurs.
In what way?The Ornstein update is pretty bad, right?
We're clearly signing bothCasemiro is a fantastic signing, Id rather have De Jong though
You honestly believe any of that is because of Frenkie personally?! It’s all his fault!!!! Grow up.We're currently bottom of the PL with 0 points and already off the pace after two games. Ten Hag's preparation and start to the season has been affected by not having the full squad that he badly needs. You honestly believe this player was worth throwing the start of our season for?
We may not end up with FdJ, or anyone else, but we'll always have had the thrill of the chase. The transfer lions don't concern themselves with the opinions of realism sheep.
Perhaps the real transfers were the friends we made along the way.We may not end up with FdJ, or anyone else, but we'll always have had the thrill of the chase.
That's where the real magic is.
All three you probably ment. We're clearly signing both
Luring everyone into a false sense of security and then BAM, best midfield in the worldAll three you probably ment.
Perhaps the real transfers were the brain cells we binge drank to death along the way.Perhaps the real transfers were the friends we made along the way.
Choo chooMuppets don't give up hope though... we stay on the train until the very end
98% - De Jong threadYeah that makes sense. Feel completely out of the loop after two days in the office instead of working from home

they have gotten some nice trips out of this at least. And if things go bad who cares, not like they are at risk of losing their job. Hell they have more chance of losing their jobs if they started doing something right.Murtough must be feeling absolutely fecked. Not slept properly for 3 months.

They have time to redeem themselves... not much time left in all fairness, but still time hahaWhat a circus we are. Bunch of fecking amateurs.
Of course not. Tomorrow is a big day, bag, choo choo. it's probably overIs this over now?
We are throwing the FdJ money on Casemiro and Caicedo now. So yesIs this over now?
Not over until 1st September. We'll go back in again, if ten Hag wants him as much as he says he doesWe are throwing the FdJ money on Casemiro and Caicedo now. So yes
Another posted indicated that we're at "the end of days", so in that sense it is over. Or at least the end is near and we better start getting our paperwork in order before we meet the afterlife. Is this over now?
Big hot things are happening. Is this over now?
....and he still has achieved absolutely nothing.Murtough must be feeling absolutely fecked. Not slept properly for 3 months.

Considering we were meant to be starting a new era with a new manager and "football director" and dealings were meant to be executed more effectively, you bet it is.Is this our worst transfer saga ever?
Can’t think of one worse. Is this our worst transfer saga ever?
Not until the 2nd of September. Until then everything is possible. Is this our worst transfer saga ever?
Not anymore. We seem to be briefing the press that we might not get him. Also if this is to happen then either the club will have to put in an improved bid or barca needs to sort their end of the deal by paying fdj his back wages. So even if we have to put in an improved bid then we need to withdraw the offer. This way at least barca will be forced to act either way.because the club insists we are still in the running - and who knows what Barca might suddenly decide to ask for between now and three hours from now...
In duration clearly and the fact it derailed the many other things you needed to do to refresh that squad. But it is DeJong and Barcelona so it was always going to be hard. Can’t think of one worse.
