Full quote- [David_Ornstein on NBC Sports] "There are some enquiries about Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang [from United], but nothing is developing on that front. It's just if they decide to strengthen further in attack and if they have money after the Antony deal gets done."

Would anyone actually be in favour of this happening? Would you take him over Ronaldo?

Because 1 past it striker who can knick a few goals but can't contribute past that and has a bad attitude isn't enough.

No would not want him due to his attitude concerns at Arsenal.

can't say I'd be too thrilled about it

would just be another problem we get lumbered with

We do need someone who can score goals to get us back in CL contention. Cant just settle with nothing. Id rather that Osimhen-Napoli fella though.

Arsenal have benefitted hugely from removing this guy from their dressing room, so no thanks. Would much prefer Depay or Osimhen.

Agree. Not the type of character this dressing room needs.would rather we persist until Jan with the current crop.

It's nonsense. Presumably his agent trying to drive up the price from whatever clubs are actually in for him - Chelsea most likely.

Didn’t Arteta get rid of him primarily due to poor off-field behavioral issues? Why go for him, just to risk stinking up the dressing room.

Would be another stop-gap signing, and obviously you'd prefer someone like Osimhen. But I think it would make sense to sign him on a one year deal.

Where are the goals coming from? Ronaldo is probably leaving, and Martial scored two goals last season - one here and one at Sevilla. And now people are creaming themselves over him due to a few good pre season games and a good half vs Liverpool and actually see him as a good option to lead the line. Rashford can clearly not play as a 9, and theres no reason to entertain the thought of Eriksen or Bruno as false 9's.

Hasn't he already turned down a 1 year deal offer from Chelsea but could be wrong

Hasn't he turned down a 2 year deal
From us or from Barca? I have absolutely no idea. But we shouldn't touch him on anything but a 1 year deal - maybe with a 1 year option for the club. Next year a striker will hopefully be a priority.

I wonder is this Barca trying to drum up interest/pressure Chelsea, so they can feck him off.

Yeah surely a 1+1 (optional) isn't a shocking idea

Safe to say he's wanted about as much as Arnautovic which is very telling indeed

No. Would be as shite a signing as Arnautovic.

Depay is a different story, given that he's the right side of thirty and a good pro, unlike Aubamayang.

Even when leaving out all the noise about, off pitch behavior, age, wage...he is not exactly the type of forward we need, is he? His game is all about running behind, running channel. Very underwhelming hold up play. His goal scoring has been dismissing in PL setting when he left for Barcelona due to his pace reliant style of play.

Perhaps he's more consistent finisher than Rashford, but the way we're going, it's very much same issue like playing Rashford as no 9.

How good is his link up and hold up play nowadays?
