I still rate him, the club have sold nearly all their best players and haven’t bought any decent replacements.
Yeh have to agree. He will be sacked in the next few weeks though and rightly so as he’s lost the group but the Leicester board have hung him out to dry this season.

He’s hung himself out to dry with how he’s spent, we don’t have a bottomless pit we have to get more right than wrong and he is a disaster.

You hire him for 2 years then sack him and give him no say on transfers

Genuine question, who has he signed that’s been a disaster. I don’t think he’s really shaped that team?

We’ve sold 2 players this summer this excuse is bullshit
Yeah but 2 very good players, then you’ve had bids coming in for Maddison these things clearly are unsettling the team and the manager. Also where has the £80m gone that we gave you for Maguire?

So, Leicester fans are against him now.
The team doesn’t bring in new blood but continues losing too players. The team ages every year. It’s destined to struggle more and more over time. It doesn’t look right to blame the manager.

Perez for £30m to play out of position
Vestergaard for £15m on 75k a week - dropped after a few weeks
Daka for £30m - gone backwards under Rodgers largely due to service.
Soumare - played well but was frozen out for a year
Praet - frozen out for no apparent reason.

Then there’s the hypocrisy, Soumare apparently wasn’t allowed to play and Soyuncu isn’t being allowed to play as their future is uncertain in the mean time Tielemans has been awful for nearly a year for that very reason.

We had one bid for Maddison which the club found insultingly low but SSN and idiot pundits made it sound like he had 1 foot out the door.

One of those players was Kasper Schmeichel, who is well past his best

I wouldn't just look at transfers:

I would count Vardy as a loss, and the biggest one. He has deteriorated massively from the quality striker he used to be. It was always going to have a massive impact on the club when this happened. Replacing him is going to be incredibly hard, and they haven't got close to doing it yet.

I would throw in Tielemans, also. He used to look like a really good player, but has deteriorated. For different reasons, obviously, but, from what I have read, he has weight and commitment issues, which is what happened at Monaco. Seems like he has thrown in the towel - he doesn't look bothered at all.

Lastly, hasn't Ndidi become a crock?

To be honest, I would count these three as good as transfers out at this point.

Gerrard and Rodgers getting sacked in the same month would be amusing

Vardy can’t do much he gets no service, Ndidi is still a quality player but Rodgers mismanagement of Soyuncu means he had to play Xbox tonight I would imagine Faes will come straight in Sunday

He’s terrible in the transfer market. Does he get final say on transfers?

Yes, he overruled club scouts to sign Perez, Vestergaard and Bertrand, no one comes in he doesn’t at least sign off on

Surprised Leicester let this happen considering how awful his transfer record was at Liverpool and Celtic.

FFP mainly, also Rodgers has blown shitloads of money but his media mates ignore that

The comments are class. Shows how out of touch fans are at times, entitled almost.

They won't take long before they turn on that family if they haven't already

This new keeper looks worse, where did you find him?

he was signed by Puel from Liverpool 5 years ago, Welsh number one now, once Rodgers gets sacked he'll likely lose his place to Iversen but Rodgers cannot drop him, he convinced him to stick around telling him he will replace Kasper if he drops him after 5 games he's finished him here, a new manager can do what they like though.

To be fair to Ward I think he is better than he is showing, much like the rest of the squad, Sancho rounded him to easily but our defence and midfield parted like the red sea to leave him completely exposed

Incredibly doubtful they could attract either, but Potter or Pochettino would be great targets.
Poch I feel is a realistic target because I don't see what other options he has and Julien Laurens said we were a potential landing spot should Rodgers get sacked when Poch left PSG, Potter won't come here, certainly not during the season.

I think the most realistic option though is Marco Rose

Interesting. I think Pochettino would be a real coup. He needs something to get his mojo going again and this could be a really good mutual partnership.

I don't know enough about Marco Rose to comment, but I remember him being highly rated prior to moving to Dortmund.

Hope not, been a Godsend to the club, and obvious they don't want to waste any more money on Rodgers.

Stadium and infrastructure is way more important. I don't need to tell you that
part of the reason so many fans have turned on Rodgers is because he is picking a fight with the owners just wish they'd get on with it and sack him

I haven’t seen Rogers like that before. He has the Thousand Yard Stare.

Yeah Rodgers Was pure PR last night. Talking and no comeback.

Heard a Leicester fan earlier explain the players Rodgers has bought over last couple years who got frozen out of the team or don't play. They are smart not to blow more money as I suspect they know the game is up for him.

So he PR mode protecting himself for any other jobs that might come up. I've no doubt he fancies his chances at a Chelsea Job if it comes up

doesn't hurt him his mates in media kept peddling Maddison to Newcastle, they made one bid early in the window we rejected it and found it insultingly low and they never came back but every day someone said he was going to join them, there are a lot of people in media, especially ex-pros that want us to go down, they are bitter their clubs never achieved what we did. They aren't the top tier pundits but they are the ones that pop up everywhere and fill the narrative.

Celtic, Liverpool and Leicester fans all say the same thing about him yet still people like Jim White insist on calling him a top manager.

Happened to hear talksport earlier and he was getting ripped by Celtic men too.

His transfer record was abysmal there. All good saying he dominated when he was their but had zero challenge. Rangers where pityful the whole time bar his last season.

Don't think it was worth boasting about to be honest. Ange been way more impressive.

That one seems particularly egregious. Terrible player bought for a huge fee and on big wages.

yep he's a fine back up to Maddison but he was expected to replace Mahrez which was stupid, he's not a winger an no where near Mahrez's class

Oh how we smiled to ourselves at Saints, when we got £15m for Vestergaard.
