I can only assume the ones crying 'stonewall' foul are young 'uns who don't know that football used to be a contact sport that required a modicum of strength. Very, very soft is right.
Or it actually was a foul? Didn't realise you could shove someone in the back and it not be a foul?

Odegaard would drive me mental. He never shoots when he should.

They're just bitter as feck, man didn't even play the ball, very obvious foul and they'd be seething had it not been given against their teams.

how the hell has Jesus turned into some sort of Maradona-Drogba hybrid in one summer?
The way he plays both with the back and front to goal is incredible. If only Rashy had half the talent in leading the line.

can only hope for some sort of mental collapse so I can go back to laughing at them
He has always been this good as a footballer, goalscoring is where he has struggled to be consistent and currently despite the hype he has started with similiar numbers at Arsenal. I will be very surprised if he scores 15 or more. As an overall footballer though he is pretty flawless and I miss him loads. City appreciated him aswell, they tried to give him a new contract but he felt he needed to try something new. Good to see that his ability is starting to get the credit it deserves though. Great player and great guy, patchy goalscorer

Arsenal generally in control but they make some odd decisions in final third.

Need to pass it a bit quicker when in transition as they did for the ruled out goal which was a foul imo.

Surprised Tierney is on the bench. I think bringing him on and moving Zinchenko in central midfield is a sub they need to make sooner or later.

Is it just nerves or can Antony not run at defenders? Been in a couple of good positions with space but hasn't attacked and instead gone for low percentage shots/passes or over-elaborate "tricks".

Not really sure what I have posted that is batshit crazy? You have improved but you still have conceded all of the posession at home, very rarely have threatened and could easily have been a goal down

They're scared...

United has transformed back to the lucky Ole days
Was thinking the same thing. The luck factor is definitely back.
I could drink a pint of these tears.

Actually, make that two

Would normally agree only small problem wasn't anywhere near the ball.
Nudged him off the ball. Don’t think there was enough there to chalk the goal off. I appreciate the locals won’t agree and that’s fair enough :D

All of possession? They have 201 passes against our 181. They have 55% against our 45 % . I wouldn't call that as "conceding all possession"

It's obviously a foul, but for some reason people feel like it needs to be some kind of 'big foul' for a goal to be chalked off. It doesn't.

We've had goals chalked off for this shit:

Eriksen was on the ball when not just the nudge but the tackle on the leg happened as well which caused him to fall over and lose the ball. Lost possession caused the goal, VAR in any league would have turned that over

i am more baffled at some of the reactions to the ref decisions than the ref decisions at this point. that is the most obvious foul you'll ever see and it was obvious live. the only reason he "won" the ball is because he fouled him. it's like Neville has an instant (wrong) reaction to a decision and everyone on air just goes along with it despite all the evidence suggesting otherwise.

It was the right decision in the end. I'm more annoyed at how Lokonga is barely jogging in United's half and how Zinchenko just gave up his position and let Antony completely free...

Most of the game is played in your half. The point is that I doubt this is the way Ten Hag wants to play long-term, but you have started getting some good results again which were needed after the first 2 games where you tried to control more of the posession

To be fair, punching a guy in the face is generally considered to be a foul on multiple levels.

It's the rules dude.

United doing what we have been doing when we score first. Sit deep and invite pressure.

Never ever works.

It was no surprised to see Lakonga cause the goal. Absolutely horrific footballer. Tavares levels of dung.
