That seems really bizarre given that all summer the reports indicated that Tuchel had final say on transfers.

Just as quick to sack managers as Roman. Interesting. To be fair they're a mess this season, and although it's early days it's hard to see where they would turn it around. I'm disappointed though as I wanted them to struggle on for a bit, as that could only benefit us. Now they may be right back up there depending on who they get.

Poch next then? Seems the most obvious name. Maybe their new owner would try for the flashiest name which would maybe be Zidane? Potter would be a good shout, but I don't see their new owner going for him as his first manager hire. Too risky.

Must be a nutter behind the scenes as well as on the sidelines, because this doesn’t make any other sense.

If Potter is smart he stays far away from this circus. Boehly seems like a loose canon.

Replacing him with Potter could be a masterstroke to be fair.

Bizarre - mediocre season start but only 5 points off the top and one loss in the CL with 5 games to still qualify.

weird job for the next manager - i feel like their squad is a bit random in anyone elses hands.

found their transfer business really strange this summer

Potter might think twice about going there - as there is a decent chance he doesn't even finish the season. That sacking was utterly ruthless, even by Chelsea's standards.

This is following the Tuchel MO. Have a great first season, decent second season, get pissed off at the owners and then get sacked.

Same thing at Dortmund, PSG and more Chelsea. He really is a difficult character.

Potter would be a great option to replace him with, probably the best option right now.

Everyone will laugh at them and call them a circus but you just know they'll end up somehow having a successful season now having gotten rid off Tuchel before things got worse.

Remember how 12 months ago he was being worshipped by few on here on how to 'turn around a club in no time' or whatever and being talked alongside Pep and Klopp. 6 month wonder.

The number of times a big team has started badly in CL and then recovered. It's an odd decision. Must be something else on top of it.

If history is anything to go by, sacking the manager is the most effective way of winning the CL at Chelsea.

Tuchel will be done this season. I said this to my Chelsea supporting colleagues a few months back. Doesn't strike me a manager who really gets a team playing good attacking football, very pragmatic like Mourinho.

They have a good squad and just dumped £100m on Sterling and Koulibaly yet the fans are saying he hasn't been backed?!

All very odd.
I've bet Tuchel as first manager to get the sack.
Said Tuchel was overrated. Reckon he could be gone by November
Been saying for a while, Tuchel is in big trouble.

He's so negative and the players look miserable and uninspired.
God I love being proven right - THEY CALL ME MYSTIC MEG, I PREDICT DEES THINGS

Earlier than I expected. Probably Poch in next.
