The incompetence of Ole not able to bring this guy to the club. Watching Haaland do this for City of all clubs is mighty depressing. Especially when our golden boy is bloody Rashford!

Yep, the one positive thing he could've done for us would have been to insist on this transfer. His passive manner cost us.

If the reports are true that Haaland didn't trust United's board to keep supporting Ole there is truly nothing he could have done in that case. That mistake is on Woodward

A god. Best player in the world by a significant margin. I remember someone here he is not as good as RVN was.
Really? Best player in the world by a significant margin? Why?

Can’t stop scoring. Gonna be breaking records for the fun of it.

The best thing about him is that he isn’t a sexy sounding brazilian or Italian or Argentinian, he’s a big ugly Norwegian. Who let this happen?

Why wouldn't we be discussing the best striker in the world?

Sucks he plays for our rivals but let's call a spade a spade here
Because the conversation has been going in circles for months.

Nothing new gets said. It's the exact same comments being repeated on a daily basis.

Only way that changes is if he stops scoring or assisting every game he plays.

With Norway not in the WC, this dude is going to have a nice long vacation and come back fresh after Jan. Wont be surprised if he hits 50 goals for the season

Considering it’s a “Haaland Watch” thread, I’d imagine it’s most likely to get bumped when he scores as opposed to when he gets out of bed or has a shit.

Alfie Haaland just seemed like an average build guy. How the feck is his son a beast?

Did his dad marry The Rock’s sister?

That's the scariest part. While everyone will come back exhausted, he is gonna be going full force and starving to play again after the break. If City's key players manage to remain fit, it's game over for the league and maybe even the CL, although crazier things have happened.

Ole told the club to sign Haaland when he was 16.

Ok this is starting to get ridiculous now.
Why? Without him City won't be winning these exact games with these exact scorelines?

I'll save my Erlingasms for the matches where City are under the cosh for most of the game, barely surviving, and then Haaland almost singlehandedly drags them to a win. E.g. Benzema last season, repeatedly.

Behind the right goal post as "Whiteside shoots!"

Club didn't want him, then when we decided we did .... he didn't want to come.

Ole didn't have final say on transfers, same as ETH doesn't.

As much as he plays for a big rival I’m genuinely intrigued as to how many he can score this season.
A part of me wants it to be an insane number. I don’t know why, it’s like witnessing something incredible.
actually it’s not like witnessing something incredible it really is watching it happen in real time.

He’s a great player and will break all sorts of records I’m sure but I don’t think he’s any different to other great forwards in the past. Imagine Van Nistelrooy or Henry for example playing now for this City team in an era where defending has seemingly taken a nose dive of a cliff and it’s all just about open expansive football.
I mean, he is literally the only striker in the PL that hits these absurd numbers, everyone else are steady as she goes. This argument only works if defenders just turn to crap the moment they play city, and only city.

I have the same feeling. Just don’t care about City enough to not enjoy watching him as a neutral.
