I can't remember why I joined this war.
I’m so annoyed. Any time anyone attacks us down that side, we look like conceding. But we still persist with the same positioning. Everyone can see Alexander-Arnold shouldn’t be playing RB.
The problem is also tactical. The tugged in FB is something Pep has been doing with his teams for years now and they never leave gaps like you do on the right. Usually because either one of the FBs stays deep or the DM drops into the back line forming a three at the back, for some reason you don't do that and simply leave the space open that Trent vacates to push inside and into midfield. Trent surely isn't the best defender, but this doesn't exactly make it easy for him either.

They’ve both been a bit crap and are supposedly the two most likely to challenge City. Just shows how far ahead they are of everyone.

Mostly for the DOF and head coach, then the rest will come together naturally. Newcastle is doing great in that area as well.
Yeah Newcastle look on the right track. I think they'll be in and around us this season.

There's only one United!
C'mon, Klopper is a good egg. It's great to have a variety of fans on here.
Yep, but would you go on RAWK and comment while United are playing?
They'd chuck you out instantly.

Stop with the hyperbole, we literally beat Arsenal and Liverpool this season. Arsenal's 1 loss was us. 3-1.
Exactly. Football isn't linear. Beating a team doesn't mean you're worse or better than the team they have beaten. There are different circumstances in games and events that decide football matches. Utd's midfield was more efficient and effective that day. However, where fine margins come in, if Martinelli's goal wasn't pulled back it may have been a different result. As I said before, fine margins and football isn't linear.

Did they feck dominate us. We put 3 past them and they created sod all chances. Their goal came from a Varane feck up as well.
oh fantastic, you've reassured me that we'll be challenging this year. One game means nothing, come of it, let's look at the 8/9 games overall eh? Don't want to argue something that can happen in a one off game

Trent binned. I reckon Gomez will provide more stability.

The presenter saying not for any other reason is weird. How the feck do you know? Who rolls their ankle and plays 15 further minutes?

But everyone with a brain can see they dominated us
oh look a "possession" statman. they did feck all with it. 3 shots on target all game for that "domination" and their only goal was a jammy goal that came from a miskick that went off Dalot and rolled right to Saka to put in.

That’s still a very short period of time. This season is going to be all over the place, especially with the World Cup.

So far its too early to judge any team.

Agree with this. It's not just him alone, the setup allows teams to exploit the space on the right.

I never thought arsenal would sort their shit out before we did. I’m clinging to the hope that Liverpool are just having a shit season and they’re not actually all that good.

Post Christmas lift or drop in form might come early for teams this year, players might pick up injuries.

I would assume redcafe is their main forum and has way more quality than RAWK so fair enough if they rather post here during their games.
