He will have to be realistic if Kane doesn't extend his contract. 60m would be enough.

They are screwed when they lose him. He is carrying them this season and has filled the role of number 9 and 10 since Eriksen left.
 
They were so overhyped in the early parts of the season and are now being brought down to their actual level. I agree with those saying that Tottenham basically only have Kane and Son as top players, the rest is bang average.

Was never fully sold on Kane in this team until now. Were crying out for a striker like him.

It’s only been Kane so far this season too. Son has been way below his usual standard.

When I said that I got blasted on here and on Spurs forum, but I think a lot of people missed my point. Of course if you take a teams 2 best players they would be hindered massively.

But my point was if you took out the 2 best forwards from every team in the league, in theory all the teams should still finish in the same positions. However I think Spurs would finish bottom half. Hence, my point was Kane and Son are more influential and more indispensable to spurs than any other teams best players. Over reliance. The rest of spurs team really is bang average quality.

I think Kulusevski is a good player.
 
1,000% would take Kane in the summer. However much it costs, he would elevate us to title contenders.
 
Kane will be 30 by the start of next season, do you guys think he is still worth it despite that? My favored option is Ivan Toney tbh.

Although Kane probably has a few more years left, I’d be more keen on us looking to invest in a younger more mobile striker where we can have a fluid front 3 similar to the Rashford, Martial, Greenwood combo.
 
Kane is great but mobile he is not and he has a tendency over the last few years to play 9.5, which we don’t really need.
Would prefer someone else.

Kane will drop deep at will and kill Bruno’s career the same way he killed Eriksen / Dele.

4 or 5 years ago he would have been. He will be 30 with a fairly long injury list and he already doesn't look very mobile. One to avoid.

I forgot Greenwood even existed. What a waste, what an idiot. He would have been so good under the current manager.

That's debatable as Bruno may benefit or rather can work with Kane better than those mentioned because he has elite workrate, positioning (off the ball runs etc) and very good finishing, which is more suited to a second striker (the way Son operates in some sense but more centrally).

You guys haven’t dropped this 30 fetish even when Casemiro and Eriksen are 2 of our best players? Kane is world class, imagine him finishing off Antony and Rashford balls in or dropping deep and playing Rashford and Antony in on goal.

Age isn't an absolute. Ronaldo scored 24 at 35/36 after all. But Kane is very definitely "old" for his years with the injuries and limited mobility.
Again we have to factor in Levy, who would still probably be asking 100m, and it just doesn't add up.

Kane also doesn't have the best injury record and would cost a fortune, there's nothing wrong with questioning if he would be a good signing actually.

Yeah such a shame. I agree, I think ETH would have been the manager to take Greenwood to the next level. He would have been perfect in the system with inside forwards.
 
First game I've been able to watch in a couple and that was pretty grim viewing after we conceded. Kulu is such a huge miss, we don't have anyone even slightly equivalent in the squad.
 
Seems to be a real lack of creativity in midfield, obviously Kulusevski is missing, but usually plays from the right doesn’t he? Is there any one missing from midfield?

Richarlison missing too, as well as PEH and Romero, who all provide a bit of creativity from further back. But doesn't excuse the performance regardless in my opinion. Skipp stilrl ecovering and Bissouma for whatever reason not yet putting in anything like his Brighton performances, leaving bentancaur to do it all.

A lot more work required in the squad I think.

He decided to do the same with Eriksen. Refused to sell him on the cheap with 12 months left. Then he ended up selling him in the Jan window at a cut price. Really interesting to see what happens if Kane refuses to extend.

I thought it was perfectly fine goal. Wilson had nowhere to go. They were both running and collided into each other.

If anything Lloris is to blame. Why is he trying to control the ball. He should be kicking it first time not trying to take it down. He got rightly punished.
